I used the rental for 15-20 mins as I was moving something quickly. I returned the keys to the same person that rented the truck to me. I looked at my bank statement and saw that I was charged much more. When I called I was told that it said that I rented the truck for 3 days. That was not good, it made me feel like someone had a truck under my name. I was told that the mileage was my proof that I really went no where with the rental. In still waiting for a call in reference ti the charge.

The employees are sloppy and take their sweet time with all the processes. i had a reservation for 1.30pm - didnt get the van until 2... dropped it off at 5.20pm and the employee didn't process the return until 7.30 pm and now they want to charge me double... Terrible experience.

When I went to return the truck the guy at the register had no idea how check in my return. I drove less 20 miles I had a recipe for 2 gallons of gas I put in . I just saw my final receipt and they chime $8 for 2 gals of gas exactly why I wanted to have someone check my truck back in and not leave without a final receipt. Because there’s no way the truck took 4 gals of gas for less then a 20 mile half of which was on the highway. So I got over charged $8 for 2 gals of gas . Not a good way to do business

I booked my van a week in advance. Less than 24 hours before my pickup, I was notified by email while at work that my pickup location had changed to a location MUCH further from the location I had booked. When I finished at work and tried to call back, I was directed to an automated message. I decided to just pick up at the changed location since I had zero opportunity to speak with a representative about the situation, and had to move out of my apartment the next morning. When I arrived at the changed pick up location I found out that I was getting a truck, not a van, and I was not provided with a lock for me despite the fact that my reservation had been changed with less than 24 hours notice. The clerk tried to convince me that I had been upgraded, but for me it was not an upgrade, rather a huge inconvenience. I had a spot in a parking garage picked out for the van I thought I was getting, that a 10 foot truck would not fit into. Additionally, I had to buy my own lock which was 35 dollars, and I spent hours driving around Manhattan trying to find a place to park. After unsuccessfully attempting that, I had to drive back to Brooklyn to park. When I arrived at my drop off location today I was charged for the extra miles used on my rental. I understand that things can go wrong with the business and I respect that, however what happened with my experience was completely unacceptable. Based on this experience I would never rent with uhaul again and would tell all my friends about what happened. Taking advantage of people in vulnerable moments is a terrible business practice. I was given less than 24 hours notice about the change, with zero options to book something that worked for me.

The representative refused to check the truck after I returned the key. They said I would be charged the estimated price from the equipment contract. I checked my statement and saw that I was overcharged. I will never recommend them for nobady.

There was no drop box and the gas station attendant didn’t seem very helpful as he was the drop off location without any notice to trust him with the keys to the truck I had rented from uhaul. The location didn’t make me feel safe or inviting, the attendant looked very untrustworthy and gave an attitude when dropping off keys.

Make sure that the A/C is working. All in all everything went well. The personnel at the gas station was very nice. Would use U-Haul again.

The truck needed a new catalytic converter ans broke down. He had to search for a dolly and was only able to locate 6 blankets.

Disorganized, told they didn't have a dolly even though I had ordered one. Found one when I complained but it was in poor condition strap broken. Would never go back to this location.

Terrible truck, I would not call it roadworthy and safe. No AC and hot air cames in to cabin after 30 min of driving. Clanking, rattling to the level it is scary, barely capable of 50mph down the hill... My worst rental ever.
