The exterior latch that was completely rusted out from top to bottom, the paint on the trailer was so faded you could barely read it (not an exaggeration), and the tires were worn to the point it concerned me. I checked the tires condition every time I stopped for gas.

Cynthia BuendiaRidiculous situation. Had to walk through tall weeds to access the key box. The truck was siphoned of all gas. I was left with 3 miles to empty. There was no dolly for the rental I desperately needed for my moveand was charged for yet never refunded. I called the company, it was a Sunday and they didnt open for business. I left a voicemail yet never heard anything back even when they opened the following business day about the situation.
Lewis JonesThe location has insufficient space to return trucks after hours.We were able to make the return in the available space only because an employee who was looking after the dogs opened the gate and was able to authorize a space to park the truck. Also, the amount of photography required in order to return the truck is a major pain. For renters without a cell phone, it would have been impossible. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN make an on-line U-Haul reservation.

Debra PowleyFive days before I needed the truck I reserved one through a location in Sonoma. On the day before I wanted the vehicle I was advised that they would not have one and the nearest location that had one was in Santa Rosa. Before I could confirm that they had one they notified me that they would not have a vehicle for me and I would have to drive to Napa. When I arrived in Napa they had no idea who I was or why I was there. He suggested Fairfield but no luck there. I contacted Uhaul customer service and was informed that I would have to go to Susiun City but the truck would not be ready until 12:30 PM on the day that I had to be completely moved out of the home. I was not able to return to Sonoma until after 2PM. Had to work into the night to load all our goods. One of the more trying experiences
jery owenI was expecting a full tank of gas, but it was only 3/8 of a tank at pick up location. The windshield was dirty at pickup location, but I cleaned it myself.

MICHAEL RODRIGUEZThe staff was very friendly and quick to get in and out of there, it was just difficult to get to (far from where I live) and hard to get in and out of the parking lot due to the cramped conditions (cars/equipment) and the proximity to the road. I originally reserved this trailer from a location nearest to my house, it would have been great if there was some kind of means to move the trailer to the location that I had chosen originally (parker road location in Fairfield) since that is what I was really needing.

JOHN KOFOEDPicking up my u haul was a nightmare. My reservation was moved several times from one location to another, and I was not notified. I would not have know this if I had not called the location to check the status and to make sure my truck would be there. This happened 3 times in total. In the end, I was finally helped by Kevin in Oakland who helped me get a free day, as well as extra miles for the trip. The truck ran good except for the fuel consumption. In a 300 plus mile trip, I spent $270 in fuel, and the truck never even reached a full tank, for some reason it always stopped at about 3/4 of a tank. I can’t say that I will choose u haul for my next long trip, but may use it for short journeys.

Baptist LadoU-Haul should provide at least two free tiedown straps cargo straps and at least three pads to cover furniture free that come with the truck rental. Even though I always use my own cargo straps it would be a good thing to have on the truck.
