It took a very long time to receive the keys. I was supposed to show him my phone after I did mobile pick up, he took my phone and my license to try to verify. He did not know what he was doing so FaceTime â€˜d someone else and was showing them my personal information like my license, phone and whatever was pulled up on the computer screen. After almost 10 minutes he gave me my keys and belongings back. Uhaul truck had a strange smell and while pulling out had to avoid a chair thrown by fence along with other trash.MAGGIE T.

Absolutely ridiculous! Would NEVER rent from this location again! Online pick up not working-made me LATE for my movers-when I returned the uhaul the mileage stated by the OWNER upon picking up was stated to be higher then what the mileage was when I returned it. If I would have had to drop the truck off at night- I think I would have needed a armed support person. Not much of a neighborhood, you should pick your drop off sites MUCH more carfully. Also- the site was tight for trying to back in the truck and not block anybody off. Lastly- see the same comment above- You should arrive to a truck FULL OF GAS- the return the truck the same way! This would eliminate the need to guess how much gas you need to return it with!!!Alyssa S.

A convenience store with a small inventory wit minimal access to accessories (furniture pads, utility dollies, etc.) - nothing available. Perhaps my experience was actually the fault of the UHaul navigator, who changed my pick up from a secure location in Lexington to this convenience store; and the people at the convenience store were unprepared for my pick-up - not open, had to wait 75 minutes for even someone to open and provide access to a truck, no access to iPhone access, unavailability of the size truck I ordered, no access to accessories (listed above), and then charged me for the larger truck I was forced to accept. All in all, a horrible experience - wasted 90 minutes of my time, overcharged, and under-delivered the product promised.Gary H.
You could maybe not charge someone for having the equipment for FOUR days, when it was an hour late being brung back and so that would make it only 25 hours having the said equipment. But thank God I got refunded back 55$. It was checked in the middle of day 2 after purchasing and I was charged almost 200$. Fucking joke ass companynichole P.

The clerk acted as though it was a burden to answer my question. It is a bad part of town. I didn't feel safe. After waiting 20 minutes and verifying with UHaul customer service that the truck was not checked in, I ended up doing it in the app and dropping the key in the box. This is what I wanted to do to begin with but the clerk said he would do it. Not a good rep for UHaul. As far as the movers...they were awesome! As far as the truck it worked well. The staff at the pick up and drop off locations were not of the caliber I expected for UHaul.Melissa R.
I reserved at 10' truck from this location solely because the website showed it as the place in Lexington, KY that had a 10" truck available. On a tight schedule, I get there, and they don't have a truck available. They sent me across town to pick up a 20' truck, twice as big as I wanted. "For the same price" is bs when you are going to places that 20" truck doesn't fit. Plus, it uses more fuel that costs me more. I had a mattress, box springs and a desk and got stuck driving a 20' truck to haul that one way from Lexington to Louisville. Then, after dropping the truck off, I was charged a cleaning fee when the truck was cleaner when I dropped it off than it was when I picked it up. I'm planning on going later today to the place I dropped it off to the get my $25 back because the cleaning charge was bs. I worked for UHaul in the early 90s and it is the worst company around. If I reserve a truck from another city, and get there after planning it for a week and it is not available, that is bs. My phone number is on the reservation. I can be called and told to pick my truck up at another location. But, instead, I spent 2 hours messing around because your company doesn't care about my time or how important this particular move was to me. I will never use your company again.edward L.

The address that was given by another U Haul location was not the actual location on the building. Trying to get to the location because of the address was difficult as there is a different number on the building. I have never been given just an email of the contract before and I've done plenty of business with UHaul over the years. I was also told the Uhaul wasn't properly hooked up to our vehicle when I took it to the drop off location.Katherine Y.

The location and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The trailer was clean but the wheels or axle had a problem that caused the trailer to not ride smoothly. The trailer issue is a u haul problem not this location. For us it wasn't a problem as we only used it in town. Anything longer distance and I'm not sure it would make it.Kenneth G.

This is not an issue of the pick up location because they did all they could do to help us. However, this was the third location we went to on my pickup day to receive a 20' truck. We even ended up with a 26' truck but needed to move so that's what we took. I am very displeased with the Uhaul system that kept sending us to locations without a 20' truck.Jackie H.

Well. Sent me the wrong address to pick up my U-Haul truck, went to the â€œcorrect oneâ€ and the owner of business saidâ€ I haven't had a 20' truck here in years so go back to your drop off pointâ€. I then go back to my drop off point (already crunched for time) and they tell me â€œyour truck is 23 minutes into Lexingtonâ€. Which isn't anywhere close to where I asked to pick it up at. I then arrive and the place of business is whiteout a doubt in the worst place possible that I wouldn't leave my car there unattended for over a minute. After 45 min of waiting, the guy then takes another 45 min of taking pictures of the truck, my license, then my credit card and proceeds to ask me for my phone to control everything. I feel the the customer service was above the expectation that I was a costume to at most other Uhaul locations. The manager and costumer service associates we kind friendly and very informative. They took their time to make sure that my paper work and information were exactly what I wanted. Keep updates on the amount of trucks at a location so that customers don't have to travel around the city to two different locations to turn a truck in and then be charged for extra mileage due to the change of location.Kara F.
