I have never been so upset about service in my life. My reservation was messed with and changed 4 times. Prices and vehicles changed. I was already devasted with things in my life and to be treated with such disrespect. The truck wa filthy. I couldn't see out of the windshield. I found dried up left overs of burritos under the front seat. They charged my card with the full estimated charge before leaving the lot then changed the rate 3 times, depending who you talked to. I will never rent from Uhaul again. Piss poor service. Lousy trucks, lousy customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself to even ask for a review.CINDA J.

Equipment had check engine light on and the exhaust was loud and carbon monoxide fumes were coming into the drivers cabin.m which gave us a headache and made us nauseous. The noise was so loud that we could not hear ourselves talking. The loading cab area smelled like Marijuana.Maggie R.

Very friendly service. Provided extra equipment at no additional charge. ie: dolly, blankets. My time was their concern, fast issue of my 15 ft truck. I was on my way as arranged prior to pickup. Go on line and complete requested information, saves time.DAWN K.

Fix the breaks . trailer breaks stayed on. The milage price at 1.19 a mile is way out of line. By the ti.e we were done just to dump trash it cost us around $500.00. No it isnt worth it to rent from you guys again For any reason.Lara G.

I scheduled to pick up the truck at Happy Car Wash in El Cajon. When I got there, the truck had been "missing" for over 3 days and a missing vehicle report filed. I was able to pick up a truck 2 miles down the road. I would have been nice to know this information before hand however I received another truck within 5 minutes. The truck obviously hadn't been cleaned in months. The â€œonlyâ€ pickup location was 15 miles away from my home, so I paid for almost 40 miles when I was moving less than 5 miles away from my old place. Wtf is a safemove that costs an additional $14? There was never any mention of this until I returned the truck. I filled the truck with gas to where it was when I picked it up and still got charged more money for gas. Moving is a stressful situation under normal circumstances and this time was made worse by this BS from UHaul.Renae N.

Dear U-Haul Please make the vehicle available at the location I made the reservation for OR tell me in advance - not when I'm in line to get the Truck!!! Very disappointed in U-haul. Although the location I was detoured to was very good it was not the most convenient location for me and ultimately making my mileage more than I had planned on. Also, U-haul didn't inform me of the location change until I was in-line to pick up the truck, then having to go several miles down the road and exposed to more people during the pandemic - very disappointed as It was not a last minute reservation, made it several days in advance., . . Will consider different alternative next time.Linda D.

Your online & app needs improvement It's frustrating, it's glitchy, it stops working and makes you repeat many processes unnecessarily. I would discourage any of my friends from using the online version I would tell them just to go in the store itself.Jason S.

U-HAUL CHARGES FOR EVERY SINGLE MILE DRIVEN ON THE VEHICLE. U-HAUL CHANGED THE LOCATION OF MY PICKUP ADDING ABOUT 15 MILES TO MY CHARGE. YOU ARE RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU DO THIS. THERE SHOUL BE AN ALLOWANCE FOR THIS....Gary K.

Not much, trailer was waiting and looked almost brand new - there was a little confusion at the counter - my online check-in didn't come right up and that added to the amount of time it took to check out the trailer and get on the road.Steven S.

The online check in did not work. The online representative was very unhelpful and couldn't help me. I was forced to go in to the store front after 30 minute wait online. Very frustrating. The inside of the cab of the truck was disgustingly dirty with spilled dried up drink down the console, dirt on the floors and dust all over the dash. The steering wheel was sticky and crumbling. The back of the truck was clean. The guy in the store was not curious or friendly, but also open to help me in person despite my online reservation,so that was nice.Stasha Y.

The truck was filthy. The ramp even had broken glass, wood chips and dirt from the previous move. The gas cap was no longer attached. The cab and loading compartment was also dirty. Customer service was horrible.JAMES C.
