All rental vehicles, u-haul / cars / etc, should go out with a full tank of fuel. It is difficult to return a vehicle with, in my case, 11/16 tank of fuel (halfway between 5/8 and 3/4). Luckily, I managed it, but it was kinda a pain!!!!Craig B.

Did the online pick up,...my appliance dolly was not in the truck. It took them over half an hour to find out "which one" to give me, because apparently it has to be a specific one and my contract didn't have the serial number on it? Other than that it was fine.Raymond W.

Not so much. Matt was delightful, fast and efficient. (I might have been warned about getting the mud off of the truck, but neither of us could imagine what the dump road was like....) Good tip on the Davis Carwash (2 times $2.50 each to pressure wash. Thanks Matt, Love your towns! and especially the HOSPITALITY!DAVID G.

The prices I feel for a long distance travel are ridiculous. I paid almost $300 for the uhaul and had to put over $100 in gas. I returned it with more gas than was originally in it and it didn't reflect on my price at all. I used under the allotted mileage and that did not reflect on my bill. I think those things should help with a price when if I had came back with more mileage of less gas I would have had to pay more.Desiree L.

This location was so nice. At the pick up location the lady told us we'd be taking it to Elkins wv when we took the paper work out to see where in Elkins it actually said Thomas wv. So I called U-Haul and they said to take it to the location on the paper. When we arrived at kidwell's they gave us no issue, he called and fixed it in the system. Found out a day early that Uhaul had scheduled my pickup about 50 miles one way from home. I called Kidwell's, talked to Matt, who was very friendly and accommodating, and I picked it up a day earlier than planned, which was probably better in the long run. Though I wasn't wild about the lost afternoon going to pick it up, it wasn't Kidwell's fault, as were it not for them, I would likely been driving farther still. If I lived in Parsons or Canaan Valley, I would make a point to reserve from them! Thanks!!David S.
I don't have a problem with Kidwell. However, I do have a problem with General Rental. I gave them all my information to rent a truck and was told I could pick it up at their location. Later I received a call that I would have to drive to another U-Haul location an hour away to get the truck. It turned out that the truck was not there either and my family had to drive me an hour and 1/2 to get the truck. I am 87 years old. When my daughter called to find out where we were to drop the truck off, she was told the truck was due that day. It should have been due July 17. The man I spoke with in Elkins was very rude to me and I believe he entered my information incorrectly. He told me i would receive a discount because of the inconvenience I experienced, but as far as I can tell there were no deductions on my price. I would like to know what can be done to make sure i don't have to pay extra for General Rental's mistake. My phone number has changed due to my move. My new number is 304-733-8557 or use the email address above. I am very unhappy about the situation. I am on a fixed income and need to be careful of my spending. I visited several U-Haul companies in my area and none of them were able to help me rent a truck except General Rental, and since I had heard bad comments about them from other people I went there last. Their bad reputation is well-deserved. Please contact me because I would like to know how this is going to be resolved.Lela H.
