I could honestly write an essay about my experience. I NEVER do this, I hate Karen's. But it all started when I get a call 5 minutes before my pickup time that the location we had chosen didn't have our equipment but another location did. Ok, no big deal.. it's a bit farther from our house but as long as we can get our equipment. We drive to this new location where I pick up the truck... but then I am informed that the auto transporter isn't there so we would have to drive to another town to get it. At this point I'm frustrated, but still.. I need the equipment. So I drive the truck (with hardly any gas and a check engine light on) to *another* town to get the auto transporter. This is where I had enough and swore I'd never use uhaul again. I have never been SO disrespected in my life.. and for what? I'm a woman. That's why. The man that rented out the auto transporter to me was EXTREMELY rude and made sexist comments towards me, and refused to put it under my name, but insisted he put it under my husbands name who he's never met, because he felt I could be a â€œliability â€œ to those around me. Guess what. I drove that truck 5 hour away like the boss that I am. I am no feminist, I really am not. But how I was treated was unacceptable. I cried all the way home from picking it up. Never again will I be going with Uhaul. I have more self respect than that.SHELBY H.

Well the truck was fine. The online pickup was horrible nothing worked the way it should for android or iPhone. Couldn't see order at all but when we had to call it in they could see it. Took us 90 mins to get straight almost lost a deal for picking up furniture we were suppose to be there when trying to pick up trk.even when we showed up 1 hr early. Just terrible experience. Wondered when when I wend down during office hrs earlier the man said its a process picking up the online after hrs. He wasn't kidden.Thomas A.

Please make sure that the Rental trucks are cleaned and wiped down to disinfect due to the COVID Virus and not give wipes to customer for them to do it. I was very disappointed because this has never happened to me before. I have used this company before and I have always had a positive experience but not this time.EARLENE B.

We were told that it was $79 for the first day, 100 miles were free and after 100 miles we would have to pay .39 cent a mile. $20 for each additional day. And $10.00 per day on insurance. We were told it would be $140.00 in total. Instead we ended up having to pay $290 in total. The u hual was terribly filthy, we had to clean it inside and out before using it and it had a terrible smell of cigarettes and marijuana. The gentleman was very rude.Keonte W.

The customer service person was absolutely not what myself nor the other female customer there at the same time expected. The facility was closed at the expected time of pick up we both had scheduled. only to be surprised by him emerging from a rental truck where he had been sleeping. Both myself family and the other customers had knocked on the doors. I myself had called the facility and left a MESSAGE regarding my reservations time. I called my original choice as well as was son hold with customer service when this customer service guy emerged with his lunch in hand...ONLY TO OPEN THE DOORS AND PROCEED TO TURN ON HIS RUKU FLAT SCREEN... AND BEGIN LOOKING FOR HIS LAP TOP... AFTER SIME TIME he went back to the truck where he had been sleeping found it checked me out and I left.. this simple 40 minute delay cost me HELP LOADINGS AND ADDITIONAL COSTS IN MANPOWER TO MOVE MY ITEMS TO FAYETTEVILLE NC......... I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS.. AND HAVE HAD ONLY ONE OTHER BAD EXPERIENCE WITH UHAL RENTAL IN MY 40 PLUS YEARS OF USING YOUR COMPANY... TO MOVE FROM CITY TO CITY STATE TO STATE... IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least... DO NOT EVER CHOOSE THIS LOCATION FOR ANYTHING BUT RETURNING AFTER HOURS WHERE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE CONTACT.Jacqueline P.

Owner was read mileage and given gas amount. Reserved for 40 miles used 35 but got charged for 71 miles. Now owner does not have a real phone number to call. This listed number goes to voice mail but the owner has not setup a voice mail box. So this owner is shady and will be hearing from me directly when I have to drive to his shop.MARCUS G.
The vehicle was damaged and duck tape was utilized in an attempt to repair the damage. As soon as I was on the highway the damaged area was flapping about 3 feet off the side of the vehicle. Had I not immediately noticed the issue it could have struck a vehicle in the next lane. The damage needs to be repaired before the vehicle is rented again.Clyde B.

I chose this location because I wanted to deal with a person and not deal with the online pick up and drop off. There was someone to assist me With picking up the truck however when I tried to return it there was no one in the office during normal business hours. Me and Someone from uhaul corporate tried contacting the office with no luck. So I still had to check out with the mobile options versus dealing with a person.Benjamin B.
When I get the truck the mileage was over what it say on the website I tried to put it in to correct it it would not let me so I contacted customer service she put it on my account then they charge me for all the it was over 168 miles I only drove 15 mile didn't even need to put in gas now I can't get in touch with the guy to correct there wrong so this is so unacceptableBruce H.
