Your website was a nightmare so I had to call your 1-800 number and the gal got us all taken care of and was super nice. But a couple of days later someone from Uhaul called us and said they had to cancel our reservation because May is a busy time for college students and that we could only have "the only 6 x 12 trailer in Iowa" for 4-hour increments. So we called Kerps Service directly and they were able to help us out with smiling faces.

The young lady at the front desk is a new employee. She is just learning the ropes and doing a very good job. Be patient and she will have you on your way with very little delay.

I ordered a truck in a specific location, but the morning of pick up, a representative called and told me the nearest location with an available truck was a 30 minute drive away. So that added an extra hour of driving to an already stressful moving day. This happens every single time I book a Uhaul. Have you ever seen Seinfeld? "You know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part of a reservation." The only positive here: the associate who rented the truck to me gave me a credit for the extra money I spent on gas.

Gave me a military discount. I did not even have to ask. Owner saw my veteran status on my license. Discount was from his business, not uhaul's. U-Haul should have a military discount.

Very disappointed in U-Haul! I reserved a truck three weeks in advance before I needed it. I needed the 20 foot bigger truck the morning I showed up to pick it up the only thing available was a 10 footer. The Employee of the place I rented it from called U-Haul and basically told him that the truck would not be available till the next day. I had people at my house waiting to help me move and I had to take the smaller truck which took more trips that I originally planned! My question is, what good does it do to reserve a Truck three weeks in advance to have U-Haul say sorry no truck available? Very disappointed!

I rented the truck at 9:00 AM, but had to turn it in before 8:00 AM. AS I was charged for a day I expected to have 24 hours not 23.

It would have been nice to have picked up the trailer in CR where I put the reservation in. I have never had to go to another location to pick up my reservation. I have always rented from Coralville and have never had this happen before. When I got to Monticello to pick it up from North Liberty, I specifically made the comment that I hoped it was giving me the newer of the 2 trailers. They were both the same size. Nope he gave me the OLD one. When I went back in to the store and told him I wanted the other one and not the old one, he asked me if I was kidding. I said um no, that is why I asked you when you working on the reservation. (I know it probably doesn't matter, but when a customer specifically asks why wouldn't you try to accommodate that customer standing in front of you???

Was unable to get a confirmed reservation in advance. You just take whatever they want to give you, wherever it’s at. Had to drive 30 miles out of the way to a small town to get a 26 foot truck, after I reserved (or attempted to reserve) a 20 foot truck in my own city. I called three weeks in advance. Initially I thought I would need the vehicle for two days, but when I was unable to get the size I wanted and had to go out of town to get it, I decided to only take it for one day. Over the phone I was told the site I picked it up at would adjust the price. I was quoted $380 for two days and the size vehicle I wanted, and was charged $372 for one day snd a size I didn’t want. I could probably have driven the 20 foot vehicle I wanted, but I had to get my son to drive the 26 foot super mover I didn’t want.

We had to travel 45 minutes to this location despite having 5 Uhaul locations in our city. There was nothing specially wrong with this location but the fact that Uhaul directed us to this location after having our reservation for more than a week was unacceptable.
