Winter to rent a U-Haul 3 days ago, and was told $19.95, when I returned the van two days later I was charged $100 a day, and I had to deal with a woman with a terrible attitude. Who basically told me that it was it is and that was how that's how they did it there. I tried to point out on the vans that it said $19 a day plus $0.89 a mile and she told me that was U-Haul's policy but that was not Ken's service station policy, when trying to reason with her I got an attitude and a door shut in my faceArianna P.
The issue was that I made a reservation for a car carrier on Tuesday 8/18/20 for Wednesday 8/1/20. When I arrived the trailer was not available (why make a reservation?) The gentleman at the desk located a second one close to the original location. It was damaged and could not be rented. The third location was about 30 miles off my route (back and forth). But, since this was my only day off I accepted that one. AT both locations the staff was courteous and professional. I appreciated the diligence in finding a trailer. I also rented a pickup which drove fine, was clean but, definitely a smoker had it before me. If the reserved trailer was available the rating would have been excellent.JAMESK B.

When you rent a truck from one location that should be the location where you'll have to pick it up . the day before I picked it up I got four different locations that I had to pick it up. Not fair to the renter. Otherwise was pleased. John at the Middletown location was also very nice also.Gary S.

The license plate was a temp tag that was completely soggy and limp cardboard that was unreadable. The trailer fold down fender was not secured which made me doubt if an employee had looked at it since the last rental. At the end of the day, the trailer worked fine. This experience was not any worse than previous experience at other UHaul locations.Gary W.

THE WHOLE RESERVATION PROCESS IS TERRIBLE. TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR A RESPONSE AS TO WHAT LOCATION FOR PU, THEN HAVE TO CALL AS TO WHAT LOCATION OF DROP OFF AND IF THAT'S NOT BAD ENOUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS OF DOWNLOADING APP TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND SEND PICS AFTER DROP OFF IT'S INSANE. The website is horrible. I was forced to go an hour out of my way to get a truck. There is a uhaul place 5 miles from where i needed it. The website forced me to go to a different location then a day before i was to get the truck i was forced to go even further away. So then your paying more for miles. What a rip off!james N.

My comment does not pertain to improvements of this dealer. The comment system does not allow a fair representation of experience with the dealer. Scheduling or pick up problems with U-Haul that usually do not fall under the realm of the dealer being rated lower the satisfaction score of said dealer when they had no hand in the dissatisfaction. Renters who cause their own misfortune also blame the dealer. Try to be fair, people.DAVID H.
Customer service had told me to contact them when it was time for me to drop off my truck. I was on hold for over an hour and no one picked up. I was forced to just leave the truck there without any real finalization of the process. Overall this was a very bad experience.Kyle H.

Was told could do job for an amount in a couple hours. Three days before departure date. After being in the middle of job they realized they could complete job. Had to go to a dealership to have remainder of job done while I sat for 6 hours the day before I was scheduled to leave. Had to get up departure morning and spend hours loading trailer. Planned on getting it earlier so I had a couple days to load. After all of this it took about $1000 to attach a hit h to my Jeep when I was told somewhere in the $300's. I believe I could have shipped my belongings for less. Of and an additional $350 for the rental trailer. I will never do this again or recommend it to anybody. I had to unloaD entire trailer up three flights of stairs. Just retired. Pay someone to ship property and load and unload. Much less expensive and time consuming.Linda W.

I had to drive over 20 miles to this location to pick up a standard trailer even though there is a large UHaul location within 5 miles of my house. Very poorly done on the part of UHaul. I reserved weeks in advance - couldn't UHaul moved some equipment closer to where I reserved ?doug C.

I think you should put in the address where the truck is picked up and the address where it will be returned and calculate the mileage that way. We dropped the truck off at a closer location that what they had it set as and still ended up owing. Yes, it was only $5, but when we tried to save money by leaving it closer, we ended up owing more.Jill B.
