When I called the Kemptville dealer on the Monday to ask how late I could drop the trailer off, I was told it wasn't due back until Wednesday, rather than the Monday I was expecting. Then I thought perhaps the paperwork was set up to only charge for weekdays or the Port Elgin office set me up with a longer rental period than was recorded, so I took his word for it and brought it back on the Wednesday. Now I'm left with a 70 dollar late charge that I wasn't expecting. Bit of a jerk move to offer information that wasn't true to a customer. Though I won't put blame on the dealer because I could have been safe instead of sorry and returned it on Monday, I hope you don't offer false information to customers just looking for some guidance on drop off times.

Tried to drop truck off previous day but gate was locked and stated they only accepted drop offs between 6am to 6pm. Not a big deal but I had to rearrange my morning to drop the truck off before 8am as per the contract due to this. Arrived to drop off truck and gate was open but no lockbox in sight for key drop off and office wasn’t open until 9am. Left truck parked next to another rental truck, completed online check out and uploaded pictures and had to leave and arrange to return a third time after 9am. Received a frantic call at 9am asking where the keys were and stating I was blocking access with the parked truck and that they needed the keys immediately. Returned shortly after 9 with keys and was then told that I would be charged $25 as a sweeping fee as the back needed to be swept. I mentioned that I had swept the truck out prior to dropping it off and that they could verify that it was clean by checking my check out pictures uploaded at the time. They replied I would have to wait as they were helping other customers first and then they could check but they would just charge the card on file for the sweeping. At this point my morning was already turned sideways by having to make 3 trips so I didn’t have the luxury of waiting so I left. Ironic thing was that when I received the truck it was dirty inside. Full of corn and other debris that I had to sweep out prior to loading it for my move. No big deal. Swept and moved. Then swept again at the end and returned a truck in cleaner condition than what I received it in but somehow got charged an extra $25. Seems like a bit of a hustle to me. Shameful as the rest of the experience was excellent.

This is the second time I rented from this location and again I had a very good experience. No waiting in line, the vehicle was ready, and when I got the invoice the rate had been adjusted to save me a few bucks. Thank you!

Brought the trailer back in same condition. The lady charged me 10 dollars to "sweep" the trailer. Absolutely not acceptable. I feel like I've been robbed. I will never use a uhaul again. I cannot believe this would be acceptable. I have used uhaul in other locations and have never had this happen before. To top it all of, the lady was very rude and condescending. I would like my money back. Please call me 613 915 9164

Very challenging to get full details ahead such as cost per mile , confirm times etc. Waving hands just over there doesn’t cut it. Computers major problems delaying by 40 minutes. Vehicle clean but in very rough road condition - pulling to right constantly, rough in low gears Not a pleasant experience and far from the typical U-Haul experiences and general rental experiences of the past. Not recommended

The uhaul was not checked lights did not work I got tickets for it very unhappy usually this doesn’t happen but it did I’ve rented from u guys like every week I had a 7 hr drive with people honking at me almost getting into accidents very unsafe I had to go out of my way and buy a red sweater to hang at the end of trailer so I didn’t get hit

I rented from one location and they told me the day before to pick it up another location much further away so I had to pay extra kilometres because of your error. This is unacceptable and terrible service! We will make sure to NEVER use your services again as well as make sure to let people know our story. The truck that we had originally rented in spencerville sat there all day without anyone using it. Ridiculous
