UHAUL is making a BIG mistake by trying to control ever aspect of the rentals online. I would not have taken this truck off the lot at KC Trucks, if not for Ken at KC. The only truck available had 127,000 miles on it with no working AC. Ken could not get anyone at UHAUL to return his call. Ken took the truck to a mechanic, on his own, and had the AC repaired and assured me that he thought the truck was up to an 850 mile freeway trip. It was not! The left front tire rattled my teeth and at times was bouncing completely off the road at 60 MPH. You forget that most people develop a personal relationship with their rental providers. The way UHAUL is using the providers as a storage yard and trying to monitor rentals, who is maintaining your equipment. Someone at UHAUL should have known the terrible condition of this truck. By the way, I forgot to tell you the brakes were also squealing at every stop. My wife and I, along with our church friend, prayed the whole time that this truck would get us to Titusville. And to add insult to injury, UHAUL wanted us to turn the truck in at Rockledge, two cities from our destination.

Have working headlights on the truck. Tell customer the final price and not that it costs 40 dollars. They left out the part of that I would be charged .99 cents a mile also

I waited in the lobby for 10 minutes before being helped & the man at the front desk ran me up, told me to go to my car and back up to the tow trailer. He then attached the trailer & told me the steps I had to take to attach my car to it (very fast, I couldn’t really keep up). I was struggling getting it started and he said he couldn’t help me “too much, or I would have to pay him”. On my way to my returning city, I realized he did not give me the dolley which I had paid for. When I called him about it, he said he didn’t know how to take the dolley off the contract and to just have my returning/drop off location do it. Definitely caused a frustration for me through and through.

The way you charge out the over milage cost me 2 over draft because of the way you collect charge up front collect on pending account then charge over mileage then take full amount give back original payment held over mileage cost me over draft .stupidest shit I ever seen ......
