The person at the pickup/drop off location was amazing Super helpful Super friendly the van I rented was almost new very clean and easy to handle can't say enough positive things about this location

Joseph PoitierI had a reservation with a confirmation number. I arrived at 9am to pick up the cargo van that I reserved. The van was in the parking lot. I went in to the store and spoke to the cashier. I told her why I was there to get the key and she insisted that they were only the drop off location and I couldn’t pick up there. It took over an hour, multiple phone calls and multiple problems with signing in on the app. After an hour I was able to finally get through someone at UHaul who gave a verbal authorization to the employee to release the keys to me, and amazingly , the facility did do pickups!!! I got the keys and noticed the mileage was at 38, at this point I was so late and paying movers by the hour ( even though the van wasn’t there !) I didn’t question it. When I returned the van yesterday at 9am I was prompted to take all kinds of pictures to send to UHaul, which I did and the mileage was at 48, so I didn’t use all those miles - I only used 10.(Initially put 50 miles, to be safe) I was charged for 50 miles. I have need of renting another vehicle but I will be going through a different company.
Sofie OggI was double charged on this uhaul and need a refund back I only used the truck 4 hours and returned it full gas and everything so why was I double charged

Cheuk lun IpAfter making a phone reservation, at the pick up location I spent 11/2 hours on the phone to get the code for the key lockbox. Spoke to 4 people on the phone at UHaul and no one could find my key box code except the final scheduler- Crystal (thank you Crystal!). The system had my cell phone and email mixed up with someone else’s and the computer wouldn’t release my code. Then another 45 min to check back the van-VERY stressful- as we were taking the flowers to a wedding. ! would NOT suggest picking up U-Haul vehicles off site- it was SLOW, confusing, the computer system gets stuck, the U-Haul operators can’t get info off the website and no staff on site to help. Was not a good experience.
Joyce KyneIt was my very first experience renting without having a real person. I had to do all procedures through chatting with an agent which took forever due to the fact that WiFi issues in that particular spot where l wanted pick up the truck. It took an extra hour till l could start renting it which was unexpected as well as unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re not familiar with this procedure. Thanks.

I’ve always used U-HAUL and I was shocked by this experience and will consider another rental company for future rentals which will be many with two college aged kids.

zhao guoxiongSite required electronic check in and code for pick up (it took longer than expected) then again, furniture moving dollies and protective blankets were required but were not loaded into truck; at return, the electronic returning system was not working
Alfonso DrouetThe lock on the truck was stuck and when I called, the guy blew me off and laughed at me when I told him the lock was stuck. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. I also reserved a dolly and there was no dolly in the truck. No where does it say that that locations does not have a dolly. Thankfully I wasn't charged. Also, the gas tank was not full at all.
