I was very pleased with the service at this uhaul location. I was able to pick up my equipment with ease. The van was clean and gas tank was full. I had no issues. Owner is super nice and overall it was an easy experience; a nice thing when you're trying to manage a move. I had a poor experience at the Burlington location and was about to swear off uhaul but this one was worth it for sure.SARAH W.

Unfortunately, the automated reservation & return processes were painful. No sooner than I'd reserved the 10' truck on line, then I was called - and told that only a 9' van was available (and that the nearest available 10' truck was 30 miles away!!). But when I picked up & returned the 9' van, there in the parking lot sat a 10' truck - unused all day!!! Then, after I returned the van, I tried to document my return using my phone - but couldn't seem to access it with the information that was asked for (& I had provided!). I tried again when I got home on my computer, and still couldn't get in!! All that effort and aggravation and I'll still get charged $20 because I didn't get through. How annoying!! I'm very disappointed!!!!!!william E.

We signed up for the phone check-in, because we figured we'd be arriving at the site after they closed at noon, which turned out to be true. As we sat in the parking lot, wrestling with the electronic checkin (which was horrible, confusing, and asked for information we were not warned we'd need!), the owner noticed we'd been sitting there for 20-30 minutes, and came out and offered to check us in even though he was closed! This went quickly and smoothly, and he was extremely friendly about it all. The return was also a breeze, and the assistant we dealt with then was also really nice and pleasant to deal with.Erik M.

Mr. Garrow, I didn't say it would be back in an hour. I said I had been delayed by weather in New York and it would take me longer than the time allotted to return the truck and wondered if the company could provide some flexibility. Had I been attempting to abuse the terms of the contract by continuing to drive the truck and/or had I deprived the company of income from the use of the truck by someone else I would appreciate your unwillingness to grant me some understanding. I drove the truck 3 miles from the dropoff point to do the unloading and there was clearly no one waiting to use the truck. You are charging me $78 for a few extra hours of having the truck sitting almost within sight of the dropoff point, charged me extra insurance and charged me extra for returning the tow dolly on time. I would also point out that when I was leaving Hendersonville I discovered a taillight not working on the dolly and was delayed while a repair was made, when that should have been inspected prior to giving me the equipment. The price was outrageous to begin with and the way I was treated will most certainly cause me to think better of the decision to do business with Uhaul in the future. I will be making an official complaint to the company about how you handled this situation and use every opportunity that presents itself to share my experience with others contemplating decisions about moving equipment. Because I didn't verify mileage and fuel levels, I ended up having to pay to fill the tank to 3/4 full, when it started at 1/4 full. This was my fault as I didn't verify, but the site owner/operator should have known the actual fuel levels and mileage. Other than that, the experience was fine, though slow in the office during closure of the contract. I do have a picture of the fuel levels, taken at the time of pickup, but I didn't pay that much attention.Marty T.

Personnel very friendly and helpful. The driveway was a sheet of ice! No Sanding! A customer in a truck almost slid into us on our way out. We were instructed not to exit on the side with the hill because we wouldn't make it up the slope.Devon C.

I was sent to K&R after my scheduled return location in Barre was closed due to COVID quarantine. I explained the situation and the person accepted the equipment return. Apparently the equipment did not get properly checked in because I received a call three days later asking when I would return the equipment. I would say this location was helpful, but perhaps not efficient in logging in returns. These are strange times, and this was an odd situation.DAVIDALEXANDER J.

The truck rental was for a Saturday pickup 40 miles away. Got there and there was not truck. Previous renter did not bring the truck back because he had not unloaded it yet. I have folks drive from out of state (3 hrs) to help with the loading of the truck. They had to turn around and come back 2 days later when a truck was available 30 miles away. I was not happy and felt that if a truck is reserved for someone else, there should be a hefty fine for the renter who is not returning the truck back when it is to come back. Seems the dyfunct renter took his time in returning the truck.Virginia S.

This was another great experience using U-Haul trailers. The cost is so affordable, the service is excellent, the trailers always perform well for my needs, and I never have to wonder if the lights work on them. This time I was picking up a new appliance and it was a rainy day. The covered trailer allowed me to get the appliance home dry and safe. The drop off is so quick as well! Thanks U-Haul!Paul C.

Please explain the drop off instructions a little more. If they say they are going to be open until noon, some one needs to be there. If they expect to use the web site to continue the drop off, instructions should be explained more. My phone would not pick up the location. I spent an hour trying to figure out why. With moving, there are more things that need to be done then wasting time trying to do something that wasn't explained.Crystal P.

Place was closed, which was fine. I had cell service, so I was able to do the digital checkout on my phone. It was raining and very muddy, so the cab floor got dirty but I was able to explain that in the app and didn't have to pay a cleaning fee - which I appreciated.JEREMY M.
