The truck rental was for a Saturday pickup 40 miles away. Got there and there was not truck. Previous renter did not bring the truck back because he had not unloaded it yet. I have folks drive from out of state (3 hrs) to help with the loading of the truck. They had to turn around and come back 2 days later when a truck was available 30 miles away. I was not happy and felt that if a truck is reserved for someone else, there should be a hefty fine for the renter who is not returning the truck back when it is to come back. Seems the dyfunct renter took his time in returning the truck.Virginia S.

This was another great experience using U-Haul trailers. The cost is so affordable, the service is excellent, the trailers always perform well for my needs, and I never have to wonder if the lights work on them. This time I was picking up a new appliance and it was a rainy day. The covered trailer allowed me to get the appliance home dry and safe. The drop off is so quick as well! Thanks U-Haul!Paul C.

Please explain the drop off instructions a little more. If they say they are going to be open until noon, some one needs to be there. If they expect to use the web site to continue the drop off, instructions should be explained more. My phone would not pick up the location. I spent an hour trying to figure out why. With moving, there are more things that need to be done then wasting time trying to do something that wasn't explained.Crystal P.

Place was closed, which was fine. I had cell service, so I was able to do the digital checkout on my phone. It was raining and very muddy, so the cab floor got dirty but I was able to explain that in the app and didn't have to pay a cleaning fee - which I appreciated.JEREMY M.

This location as no WiFi or cell reception to do after hours drop off. They have a mobile hotspot but you have to be able to connect via WiFi or cell to joinâ€¦ so impossible!! I was concerned about this issue since connectivity is so spotty here and was assured it was available. I ended up just leaving the truck and dropping the keys. I had to call in the next day to explain so I wouldn't be charged a fee. That employee was nice and helpful. But it is still not a location I would recommend unless you can drop it during regular business hoursjudy E.

Was supposed to make the return location around South Burlington Vermont, lost time using the truck, because I had to drive 50 or so miles back to Berlin Vermont, which cost me more in mileage and gas,Return app Wouldn't work kept timing out. So I locked keys in truck after notifying your support number at no time did anybody tell me there was a key return box. They wanted to charge me for like in the keys in the truck was not going to leave the truck unlocked so somebody could steal it can I be blamed for it. Vehicle was supposed to be ready for 9 am wasn't ready until 9:25 and it was supposed to be mobile checkin but the guy claims it wasn't set up that way even though I had an email stating it was. Had to wait for him to set up as mobile checkin. U-haul smelled like booze and the guy was still â€œcleaningâ€ it when we arrived. Probably wouldn't go there again.PATRICIA V.

I've rented from both K & R and from AJ's Sunoco. I always decline the additional $8 "Safe Tow" insurance. I even "pre-check in" to try and make sure that this is not added to my bill. However, whenever I go to K & R, I end up with this extra charge. This results in an additional 54% increase in my bill. The franchise owner always seems to play dumb about it and I don't find out about the charge until I'm ready to check out. Although AJ's is farther for me to go, they don't play this kind of game with me.Joseph C.

I was shocked at the estimated cost. The final bill was about $20 less. At no time during the transaction was I informed that the final cost may be lower than the estimated cost. It would be nice to be informed that the final cost may be lower. The base cost of 19.95 is so misleading!Renee L.

GET SPARE KEYS TO THE VEHICLES!! I was unloading the remainder of my belongings from the van into my car (while AT the uhaul location) and the door slam shut behind me locking the doors behind me. And $95 later to a locksmith I finally got the keys unlocked and was able to finish the transaction which was $105. So THANKS FOR THE $200 EXPERIENCE ASSHOLES!!!! FUCK YOU. PS Love the owner of the shop, he was extremely helpful-BUT U UHAUL ASSHOLES SUCK!!!!Melissa K.

I was very thankful that the rental of the UHaul was where it was. I was able to get there within a reasonable time and had plenty of time to be able to use the van that was rented for what was needed. The reservation process was terrible. I reserved a truck 6 weeks ahead and was called 2 days before my rental that my reservation had been changed to a location that was unacceptable (too far away). I spent the next 2 days calling and trying to figure out how to resolve the issue.Erik S.
