There was no fuel in the truck have the truck full and make the customer refuel it because leaving it that low isn’t good and can cause condensation

Allan HarrisonCustomer service was poor, shady billing and they end up removing money from your card without your consent. Got billed twice. Got the truck on an empty tank and they still wanted me to bring it back with a 3/4 tank stating that they will charge me while in the contract it states that "if I bring the truck back with a gas below what I got it when I picked it up, I would be charged" and that was not the case.

Justin BellDeplorable customer service from both the staff and U-Haul. The app was of no help and did not support an easy pick up. The pre-authorization on my card was for rather large amount despite me sharing that my mileage would be low. The vehicle was filthy inside, smelled bad and was parked a far walk from the location down a local street with no safe cross walk or sidewalk access. When I requested to change the number of days I was renting the unit for the person at the front counter simple laughed at me and said my card had already be charged and it was too late. Truly disappointed that he made no effort to recover this situation. When returning the vehicle I was told I needed to park nearly a half mile away and walk back for key drop off. Inconvenient, disappointing and I would like to hear back from u-haul. This location should not be allowed to carry the brand.

Arden Verbowski-BouchardThe text message sent out about check in should indicate that you need to watch the video and do the process before you drop the keys. I had trouble and could not complete it because I had already dropped the keys as I was instructed at pick up.
Mickey WilsonLet customers know that the Uhaul truck does not come with a lock and that the back door doesn't lock. This would be helpful to know ahead of time for long-distance moves so the customer can buy the lock in advance and be prepared.

Mohomud HAIDThe business parks their trucks in a residential neighborhood, has an empty parking lot, but doesn’t let their customers park their personal vehicle there. Instead they tell the customers to park their vehicles in the residential neighborhood around them. Just plain weird.

Darren Lathlin-TorpeNothing major. Maybe update the check in pictures. The decals had been removed from the truck and the pictures still showed them on so I had to upload new ones before leaving but other than that everyone was very helpful and the truck ran great.

wayne CowanI arrived at the location & had to drive another couple miles to his other lot. Very inconvienent when there was a location 1/4 mile from where I arrived at. No option to change location as they had the trailer booked already? Next time I will be more diligent as Uhaul personnel are shady on their contracts.

Robert BirkRude staff that ignore you for 20 minutes while they are gabbing on the phone (not with a customer, personal call). No inspection done when you pick up the truck. When you return the truck all they look at is the odometer, then when you go to get the balance of your deposit they try charging extra, refuse to process the refund then tell you to leave with no paper work. When I finally got my invoice from U-Haul there was a $50 cleaning fee, then never looked at the truck when I picked it up or dropped it off. Complete SCAMMERS

I had to attach the trailer by myself and when I asked the employee if I attach it properly the employee just said “You did a good job “ instead of checking if it’s fine. He needs to improve his customer service.Sadly,I will not be going to that location for the service anymore.

Coral BabetWe were told we needed to return the trailer by 9:00 a.m. because there was someone picking it up at 9:00. When we arrived at K Mini Mart the U-Haul office was closed and the car wash person told us we needed to drop the trailer off at the Edmonton Inn down the street. We did so and there were other trailers there the same size so we actually didn’t need to return ours for someone else at 9:00 a.m and in fact there was no one renting at 9:00 so that wasn’t even true! We returned to K Ini Mart and had to wait about 15 minutes for the U-Haul agent to arrive to confirm that it was correct that we had dropped off the trailer at Edmonton Inn. Information and requirements were never clear for pick up and drop offs. I was NEVER told I would have to pay per day for extensions. Customer service on the call centres was excellent however and very service oriented and helpful.

Bill HynesMy pick up location was changed from my original booking. It wasn't an issue but I preferred the original location. Staff help was excellent which was most important.
Paul MalandWould have rated it high, but charged me an extra day even though I had the trailer back in the same spot on time. On bill says I checked out at 8:57am, dealer opens at 9:00am, Wednesday. Which is not really true as the location of the trailer is a few blocks away, so the time I get there and hooked up it was at least 9:10am. Again dropped out trailer, Saturday morning, struggled a bit with the weight to get it off my hitch, once done. Took picture which says 9:01am., which I was told to do by pick up guy. Had I brought the trailer straight to the office, I would have been there before the 8:57am. Anyway, went to the office, chatted with a guy, showed picture of drop off. Contract was 9:00am, which trailer returned in that time frame, it would have been there even sooner. Never expected to get charged extra day, because the office pick up and drop off location was blocks away. Anyway, phone in to get extra day charges removed. Says pending. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I am hoping this was just a case of human error. This should have been checked before being charged.

Julio FlorezI was concerned that the mileage rate I was quoted 69 cents /kilometer was changed to 99 cents per Kilometer at the time I completed my rental. Although the increased price was not prohibitive I am quite concerned that the price I was given at the time of booking changed without notice.
