The person at the store was professional and helpful, however this location did not provide online vehicle pick up, which it was supposed to offer according to the website. Luckily the store operater was still there (I was supposed to pick up the truck at 5pm and still helped me at 5:10 after the store closed at 5pm) so he helped me with the vehicle pick up. The website needs to be updated to reflect accurate location service information. Had I been 10 more minutes, I would have been out of luck and not had a truck available for me.Barbara S.

Did not have the truck I reserved. Was forced to pay extra commute to travel to another location to get a truck. Was not able to return the truck to the original location I had planned to rent the truck from which was closer to my location. I was told this is not allowed and would not be given the truck unless bringing it back to this new location I was forced to pay a cab to get there. Truck was also parked at another location which I had to walk to and from to get and return the truck keys. This was a ridiculous string of events to be able to get a truck and ended up costing me more than it should have having to travel further and pay extra commutes.Matthew G.

First off the original truck i rented after I reserved it he called and said no it was not available . I called and they gave me a free upgrade to a 26ft. Well that just made me spemd more money on gas. So when I arrived to get my uhaul the man told me that the amount owing was 280$. I asked why so much he said he was charging me 150 worth of miles after I clearly marked 50 . Then told me they would just give me my money back on any mile I did not use . Well I think I might have used 20 tops. Amd have still not got any of my money back. He will not answer phone at place .Michael W.

I was treated very much disrespect and rudeness from both of the gentleman who work at this location. I'm returning the rental this morning the gentleman told me next time you wanna rent one of these things use a Mastercard. The previous day the gentleman told me that if I didn't like him talking on his phone I can go elsewhere. After I paid for the rental. Such a horrible experience. Gas charges were horrible. Horrible customer service. Got yelled at and given so many bad directions. Such disrespect. Got vehicle stuck 6x and could not get any help. When I took the truck, there's a warning sign for low tire pressure on the dashboard. I notified the staff, and he said it's okay, you still could drive it. Just a bit worry for breaking down. That was it.Wing S.
Your K mini Mart agent in Edmonton, Y. Suliman, knowing the vehicle he was providing was almost out of gas, offered me a credit if I would bring the fuel tank to 1/4. I drove less than 1 mile before the LOW FUEL warning light came on. I put $25 of fuel in the unit for only a 16.9 mile usage. After offering him the receipt, he neither adjusted my bill nor offered a refund. So far he is not a man of his word and has failed to provide the credit that he promised.Douglas K.

The trucks passenger side mirror kept moving out of place, making it dangerous to drive. The proprietor did not seem concerned and simply stated he was aware of the problem. He then attempted to assert I had not returned the vehicle with the correct amount of fuel, even though the gas gauge was at exactly the same level. Even when I showed him my gas receipt he tried to claim it was not an approved transaction. I would never rent from this location again.Garth S.

At first my uhaul was not where it was supposed to be. But calling head office they were supportive and found a vehicle that worked perfectly for me. I had alot to do moving out but uhaul helped me out tremendously. I am supper appreciative of themWilliam C.

I oredered a uhaul on the northend, at 5pm the location and time was wrong leaving us to scrambble to get to downtown to get the uhaul size we had ordered originally!! All i got from the service depart was sorry he must have made a mistake when you called... i had both text messages confirmations the wrong one and the right one. Very disappointed next time i move or require a truck, ill look into another company for rental service. You need to get times and location correct this is important in a move . The whole reason people call to book in advance is so they have the equipment reserved.PROKEY A.

Hello, The truck was fantastic however, I have 2 concerns. First of all, when I went to pick up the truck from K mini mart, the guy there told me that the car is not at this place and you have to go to another location, which is edmonton inn, to pick up the truck. I dont have a car so I had to walk around 15 mins to pick up the truck. Also, when I went back to return the car, the guy there told me that I have to drop it off from where I picked it up and return the key to him.As a result, I wasted 30 mins of my time just to pick up and drop off the truck which is very inconvenient and frustrating. My second concern is that It is written on the confirmation I received when I booked the truck that the km's price is $0.79;however, I found that I have been charged $1.27 per Km as written in the receipt. This is my first time to make business with u-haul and I think it is going to be the last time Thank you your timeKarim S.

The address is incorrect. If one googles the address that uhaul sends you, it will send you to the k mart, while your vehicle is actually down the road at a different location. And though the gentleman at the k mart helped me. He made it out to be my fault going to the wrong location. If I click a hyper link of an address that uhaul sends me, I should be sent to the correct location. Then at 12 am after trying to drop the truck off I spent about 10 to 15 minutes trying to upload the photos needed to finish the transaction on the uhaul app. I ended up finally giving up on the app and used the website which worked.Jesse B.
While the vehicle was clean, it had a hazard warning on the dash about a tire pressure monitoring system, and the vehicle ran quite rough. The vehicle wasn't even at the location for pick up, but at a hotel nearly 2km away. The attendant was rude, overly curt, and while he provided the service required, I wasn't expecting to have to sort through plastic bags of furniture blankets, much less get told some were missing after confirming that all of them were there. Even went to the effort to fold them properly, as I was warned that I needed to do lest I get charged $25 for that service. That is ridiculous. If this is the kind of vendor Uhaul licenses to operate their vehicle rental, then you need to reassess that location.Ryan H.

my issue is not with the location I used, but with the U-Haul website and its lack of clear communication. You advertise 24/7 service and the ability to pick up a vehicle an hour before the booked time, but there is no mention of the fact that not all locations participate in this service and some only offer in person delivery of a vehicle. That was the case in this instance. I showed up an hour before expecting to take receipt of the vehicle via the online process, only to find out that it wasn't available at that location and consequently had to wait for an additional hour until the location opened. Advising your customers as to whether or not that service is available at the location they are going to would avoid the frustrations I experienced. Same issue when I went to return the vehicle after hours. The website could not confirm my location, despite my phone have all the proper settings and permissions for the website to do so. Consequently I had to go back to the location the next morning to return the vehicle in person. More frustration and wasted time. When you offer a service to your customers, with no indication that not all locations offer that service, a customer expects to be able to avail themselves of that service if they so chose. When they attempt to do so, only to be advised at that time, for the first time, that they can't is frustrating and calls into question how serious U-Haul considers customer service.Cole M.

Booked a month early and got a call the day of indicating they had no moving pads or dollies that I rented. Then the truck is parked 2 blocks away from the office. Truck drives poorly as well.James B.

The location has customers pick up the trucks at a different site 1.5 Kms from the check in site. Also, I paid $100 more at this location than I did the week before at another location 5 kms away. I rented a smaller truck this time than I did the week before and for the EXACT same amount of time. I was surprised at the price difference!! I didn't bother to check as they both stated $19.95/day. This location however charged 89 cents a km whereas the other location have some free kilometres. So my move a week later, two different haul dealers in the same city, cost $100 more. I was told the truck was low on gas at 1/8 of a tank but it was literally on empty. There was trash and broken glass in the cab of the truck. None of the blankets or dolly I had ordered were available. There was no windshield washer fluid. The radio didn't work, and even the horn didn't work. This truck should not have been on the road.Jay M.

My experience was terrible, I was treated poorly by the two men who I spoke with. One was the manager. An absolute fuck around to get a damn trailer. These guys start work at 9 am on a Friday lol the employee I dealt with had no clue what he was doing or talking about. I would stay away from this locationtaylor R.
The truck was not cleaned out before use, especially during covid I would not recommend this location to anyone. I had to drop the vehicle off down the road with no information of that because the worker didn't want to drive it themselves. There were old contracts in the vehicle and garbage when I got into the vehicle. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone period.Michael L.

I thought i could collect with my phone. Had to go in, get keys, and drive down the road to collect the van. Same on the way back. Also gas wasn't filled so made it hard to determine how much gas to add at the end. And warning lights were on on the van.Nicole M.

So disapointed experience. I booked a truck but when I reached the place, the address was not the one shown in the website. Then, a person in this "wrong place" gave me the directions. However, when I arrived in the "right place" nobody was there. So, took me couple minutes until the responsbile showed up. I will not recommend this company for whom be interested.Jose R.

Location is not at the address specified. Had to go to 3 separate locations to complete this process; 1-the address on the reservation which sent me to 2-a car wash station to pick up the key and go through the rental paperwork then they sent me to 3-the hotel parking lot where they store (some) of their units. I had a bad experience with calling the number provided by uhaul for this location. When I called to ask information he was extremely rude to me and hung up on me. I filed an official complaint with uhaul regarding this. We had a hard time understanding where to go and had to go to three different locations to find the vehicle. I also am not impressed with the reserving process. It made it seem as though the location and time of pick up was in my control but came to find when I got a phone call confirming my reservation it was nowhere near my home and not the desired pick up time. I feel you need to do better with this part and only allow people to choose from options that are available in real time.Benjamin P.
