I had the worst rental experience ever. I made an appt online about an hour before I wanted to pick up. I wished to rent a smaller truck but the website said only the big truck was available. I also selected the hands free option. When I went to the location at the appointment time it was closed. I waited a few minutes and called the corporate number. They were not much help telling me that because my reservation was made less than 24 hours there was no guarantee on the reservation. I had an asked for a refund I have an asked for anything but I was given this information and that annoyed me because on the website I didn't see that there was a booking were a free guarantee but there was no 24 hour restriction where it was posted. It's just one of those things you see in passing. Anyway while I was on the phone waiting for the office to open or something good to happen. My wife and I saw the employee arrive to open the store. She went back to meet the movers that we had hired as they were supposed to be there any minute. The employee who arrived was not unpleasant. And was professional although she was more than 10 minutes late. I explained I I just made a reservation for the big truck in the parking lot. I also mentioned I see the smaller truck and I tried to get that one. She said she could move everything over but will take extra time I said forget it I'll pay the extra for the big truck. To make a long story short after a few phone calls on her behalf questions on her behalf calls to my cell phone from some U-Haul booking center to try and reach her as a customer support we eventually gave me the keys About 40 minutes later! So now I have an hour invested in the simple process of renting the truck after I did all the information online including my credit card and I requested a contactless check in which is not available at this location. By the time I got home Luke movers are both been there and I have spent about a dollar a minute for over a half hour while they waited to put boxes on the truck. Oh and did I mention when I went to the truck the hood on the truck would not stay down? The safety catch did work however who would not stay all the way down and secured. After a few minutes with the rental agent watching I was able to get the latch to work correctly. When checking in my rental I left feedback on the app and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours for 24 to 48 hours. I've heard nothing.Blakely H.

For one I got there @10:45 THEY OPENED AT 9:00AM and NOBODY was at the location. it was poring down raining, doors was locked,all lights were on, phone went straight to voicemail. I try to call u-haul customer service and sat on hold for ALMOST an hour. And nobody got to my call. Finally somebody decides to show up 30+ MINS LATER to help me with my rental. Cargo van was FILTHY. Lady knowledge on her OWN job was lacking. 0/10 do not reccomendDaniella G.
After turning in the vehicle, the receptionist said that the total.price would be $225. They were not able to.print out a receip and said that it would be mailed later on. At around d 1PM, I got a reciept. The actually charged me $308. Truck was returned back in the same shape as when I picked it up. The receptionist and I both did the final.inspection together. No issues found. Truck also was rented to me with low tire pressure. I was told one price by the receprionistbut had to pay almost $90 more. The close right at 1PM kn Sundays so there was no one to call after receiving an email saying $308.CESAR GUALTERIO V.
I was contacted by a U-Haul Representative during the time I was turning in the vehicle. When I arrived at the destination, she told me that I was to park the vehicle and drop the key off in a orange U-Haul drop box, which I could not locate anywhere on the premises, so this Representative spoke to me as if I were a mentally challenged person describing what a orange U-Haul drop box looked like and where it should be located. When I explained for the fifth time that there was NO drop box in sight, she abruptly told me to park the vehicle, place the keys on the visor and do not lock the door. Her tone was disrespectful and condescending. I do not appreciate being spoken to in that manner. I think someone needs to inspect this drop off area for two things. First, I had to pull this 26 foot long vehicle around the back because there was no area in front of the business to park it and Second, someone needs to verify the absence of this drop box. I surely will not recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental. I would think that if there is a problem such as I experienced, a representative who is not even in the area should listen to the customer, because we are not all dummies, and politely and professionally find a solution.Aldo D.
