I was charged for SafeMove ($28) after declining coverage because I didn't need it. The man behind the desk refused to remove it and insisted I needed to pay for it. I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone with customer service to get it removed. Also, the wall behind the desk is covered with profanities and other distasteful stickers and pictures. I would not select this location again if I needed another truck.JOHN S.

We returned it after hours. It was not clearly visible at night. We actually drove by it twice because we couldn't see it and we did not know the area at all. We had to park it by the bay doors due to no available parking.Charles F.

Totally disgusted with all the hidden fees. Motor vehicle rental fee. Environmental fee. Rental fee. It's ridiculous. And to top it off we put $15 worth of gas in the truck which brought it up over 3/4 of a tank. More than what was in it when we picked it up. And we were still charged an extra $8.50 for gas. While having no problems with the dealer, I did have problems with uhaul. I called and reserved the truck in the morning, confirmation 98582240, at Clifford Auto Center on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Arriving around 11, we were told the truck in the parking lot was already rented. I don't blame Clifford Auto. My reservation was made by phone through uhaul, the other was made over the phone direct. My ride had to be to his grandmothers viewing at 1, and we found ourselves sitting around trying to find a truck. When we found one, it was another half hour down the road. While not taking it out on the individual dealers, I'm very upset with your company. Knowing any compensation from the dealers, who were very helpful, would come out of their profits, I feel the need to let your company know directly how disappointing this was.Bryan S.

My truck was covered in smashed bugs all over including the windshield. The fuel economy gage did not work. The vehicle dolly was given to me with no working tail lights (which I discovered while driving at night!) I had to delay my night time travel and lost most of my food due to the delay. I had to pay and extra $42 to have the drive shaft removed and reinstalled on the vehicle that I towed. I was not informed of this requirement until I picked up the vehicle and told that there were no other options available for a few days. I wany my money back. I early registered a trailer for a move out of Michigan. When I walked in that morning I had to wait to be served for a very long time. Dion was alone and overwhelmed with a line of customers. He had to call someone in to help him. In such a small community that's sad to see that it couldn't have been smoother for him and we the customers. He did however hook up my trailer and get me sent on my way eventually. Thanks Dion!KIM E.

Had to travel an hour and 40 minutes from Baraga Michigan to pick up a trialer becuase the closer locations did not have any, like Houghton MI, L'Anse MI, Hancock MI...so this was VERY inconvenient for me to do, most likely will not use U-Haul again if it is a move in upper michigan...JUSTIN S.
