Dolly not in truck when arrived, lady wheeled out of back room and said â€œit's yours from here'. Blankets not in truck, had to retrieve myself with help from kid in shop. Could not get overhead door open due to ice since no one obviously every opened to have ready for me to pickup. Kid from shop got it open with wedge bar, thankfully he was there. U-Haul called me several times, sent numerous emails to prepare me for pick of of truck in Lexington.....what was the point?? TOTAL WASTE OF TIME....HORRIBLEDAVID SAMUEL R.

Again there was mud in the floor of the truck. The starter was tremendously sluggish and ended up not starting at one point had to call road side. It was then 3 hours before they came. We didn't get done till 4am!Natalie W.

I ended up in the hospital tryna move and stayed in touch with U-Haul and I had no idea they would not be understanding of unforeseen circumstances! I had a heat stroke only to get out and receive over $600 for a 4 days. The trucks were full and couldn't be returned until someone could unload them at storage but I had the storage keys. But now I'm just having a stroke in general I can't afford that and an begging to return this money for me to be able to eat and live LITERALLY I'm not sure I have that much but it was for rent when I find a place. Lockbox location was harder to find since we came in the other side of the lot.Julie H.
Check the trucks to make sure they are clean, and that the equipment purchased is inside. Upon pickup two equipment items I ordered were not in the truck. They had no protective mats at all, and I have not received a refund. When I cleaned out the truck at the end of my allotted time, there was moldy pizza in a plastic bag from a previous client.Lori H.

I had reserved the truck in Blue Springs location. A day before I was to pick it up, I received a call from Robin that they did not have one and the closest location with the vehicle I need was about 40 minutes away. It is disappointing that you are given a guarantee that the vehicle is at the initial location only to find out that it is not true. The $50 guarantee is also a lie since I did not get a penny of it as Robin had mentioned. The forks at mom and papa's in Lexington location were wonderful and provided great service. Just did not like driving all the way there to pick the truck up.Michael O.

I requested a truck with a lift and a furniture mover. Instead I got a ramp and no furniture mover. Was very disappointed that I did not receive what I had requested. I would have went somewhere else had I known.Denise B.

The inside floorboards were dirty with mud and leaves. The inside door panel had some kind of black residue on it. We took pictures so we wouldn't be blamed for the condition and also reported it to the Jobes company where we picked up the truck.Pam G.

It took forever to get the paper work done even though I already filled out the express check out form. Nothing express about it.STEVE N.
Start with honoring the online quote, then move on to not swiping the customers card not after one, but two up charges without informing of the new price increase. ( please keep in mind that I am almost never a complainer, and that I have used uhaul services before and have never had an issue.) Now lets move on to part two... the pickup location called regional support who proceeded to tell me that it was my bank that required an additional 100 dollar deposit, and not uhaul... then shamed me on the phone for not being considerate that I am renting a 45000 dollar truck... and that it was my fault because my bank is a prepaid card... EVERYONE ACKNOLEDGED THAT THE CARD WAS SWIPED BEFORE A DIFFERENT PRICE WAS DISCUSSED BUT NO ONE WANTED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT. This is hands down... the worst, most underhanded, trust breaking, and sneaky conduction of business I have ever been a part of in my entire life and I am FURIOUS. My quotes price was 256, and I ended up paying 480. Also .. the gas gauge was at 3/4 of a tank prior to pickup... I also have pictures of that should anyone wish to see.Scott M.

I will be submitting online reviews for the horrific experience we had. Incredibly unprofessional, rude, and horrible staff and management! We checked in online only to receive a call many hours later accusing us of being in possession of a 40k stolen truck. Took the truck to the previously agreed location and management refused to check the truck in because they were closing. Unbelievably horrible experience from a so-called reputable company! Will NEVER use Uhaul again.jennifer H.

The only problem I had is with the online uhaul check in service. We waited for 11 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were waiting for a review of the drivers license and picture. Then 4 min to approve it. I was not happy with an 11 min wait with no response from uhaul. Someone should respond in the chat right away.Randol W.
