When calling to confirm, you should be sure to let the customer exactly where to pick up the trailer. I reserved online with pickup in Wakefield,MI. The puck up was changed to Hurley, WI, so a lot of time was wasted driving around to get the said trailer. Very frustrating.

Maybe a larger dolly and have straps available. Monetizing everything needed isn't very kind to those who are moving. We all move for different reasons. But most are under a great deal of duress and financial strain. With slogans like "Don't break your back... Break the seal!", it adds insult to injury. I'm aware that none of these devices are guaranteed but would make for a more complete experience and would make the customer less anxious about their predicament. These devices are also for the safety of the individuals utilizing them. They multiply the strength of the one in place of the absence of others.

1.Should complete inform on abilities of 26'ft trucks. 2.BEST case 4-5 mpg!!! 3.Must run A/C consistently or cabin gets too hot to tolerate (over 100 degrees) because heat from engine compartment inside of cabin! 4.Tires are way to old, need to be looked at more often. Blew a tire on freeway 300 miles to destination. 5.26'ft NO power/guts.....does 30-40 mph up steep hills. *****STOP ADVERTISING UNLIMITED MILEAGE, BECAUSE ITS FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!*******

I had to wait a very long time, because the person doing the transaction didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Also, I had rented and paid for the Uhaul for Ashland and was told I had to go to another city about a half hour away to pick up the Uhaul!

We reserved a 4x8 U Haul for Aug 31st through Sept 5th. On Aug 29th, I received a call from U Haul stating there wasn't a 4x8 U Haul available in our area and we needed to drive 2 hours one way to pick one up. Another 2 hours to get back home to pick up the 2 wheelchairs we were hauling for a family trip. Finally, after some discussion, we had to settle on driving an hour round trip to pick up a 6x12 trailer. This cost us extra mileage and toll fees because of an extra axle and additional weight of the trailer. We were to return the U Haul on Sept 5th as agreed per phone conversation on Aug 29th. I received a call from U Haul on Sept 5th from a very abrupt man from U Haul stating the agreement was that we were to return the U Haul on Aug 31st. Where was the trailer, he demanded. I stated the agreement was to return the trailer on Sept 5th and the drop off location was to be at Juction Rd in Ashland WI, because the drop off U Haul selected south of Ashland was another 30 miles out of our way, again adding to the original cost of a 4x8. This was the worst experience we have had with U Haul. We were very displeased with the whole ordeal.

The inside of the cab was pretty dirty. There was an awful smell. It was a terrible wet dirty dog smell. The day we were moving was in the upper 80's to low 90's. I had to keep my window open even though the air was on because the smell was so terrible.

I had a terrible experience with U-Haul period. I wouldn’t deal with U-Haul again if it’s the last service available. If anything else could’ve gone wrong then I don’t know what it’d be. I didn’t even get reimbursed after paying Ahead for returning the truck earlier than expected. I prepaid to drop off in Hurley Wisconsin and then tried to get my to return the truck at Wakefield, MI. Not to mention the over hour drive to get the truck in Shingleton. Which the dealer made my husband pay $74 for damn insurance. I wanted the truck in Newberry, MI. Was supposed to be getting a deal but naturally didn’t. Complete utter scam of a business.

we were not giving the right place of drop off. Oshkosh was mentioned to us however there were three locations. Wisconsin ave in Appleton was the address on the paperwork. was picked up after 5 pm on friday and charged another day on sunday. NOT happy!!

There were computer problems. It wanted to over-charge me. My contract was for $158, it wanted to charge $316. i was eventually charger $166.69 TWICE!!. I received $158.00 back, but not the $8.69 that was charged for tax. I called about that, but am still waiting for that refund. Can you check on this?

The uhaul trip was one of the worst trips I've done. The in cab noise was SO LOUD that it drowned out the radio. I used a decimeter to see how loud it was going through Nebraska and Wyoming. It read 85-87 decibels!! That's absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! OSHA/MSHA standard states anything over 75 decibels requires hearing protection. It was well over that! So I had to purchase ear plugs mid trip. It was not worth the $1,700 to rent the vehicle. 74 mph is the fastest it would go. If you went 75 it would slow down to 74. The speed limit in most of Wyoming and Utah is 80mph... so people are blowing by me going 85. And semi trucks going 80 are passing me. That's more of a safety issue than going 80 (weather permitting) No cruise control for 1,800 miles was very difficult.. The washer fluid was frozen for over 800 miles. Really disappointed, but it did make it with no failures.
