The steering was bad on the truck. And it had mechanical issues towards the end of the rental.

Unclear where parking of returned vehicles was allowed.

When I went in the man said of course the keys are not in the vehicle! Moving is stressful enough without someone being an ass for no reason. I will never use this location again

Theodore AThe.box truck I rented was very old with 177,000 miles. I would only recommend it for short trips as it seems to have transmission issues. This truck should be retired actually. But the rental people were nice even though they were very busy. I will rent from this facility again.

William HMan came over to truck to check that tank filled to the quarter mark and drove away without talking to us. I waited for him to return, which he didn't, we then drove over to him and asked if we were finished with him. He gave us a thumbs up signal and we drove off. I received an additional bill for $40 for an additional day. The gentleman in Miami said the rental included Friday. We returned the truck about 330PM on Friday, but were still billed for another day. I picked up the truck Monday afternoon in Miami and drove allday on Wednesday to Asheville. Unloaded Thursday, and the truck sat until Friday. If I had known you were going to charge me for Friday I would have returned it on Thursday. Thank you.

MARY SThe central reservation center needs to pay closer attention to what the customers are asking for, and pair that up with the available centers in the area. I specified that I needed to pick up at 8am, but the place that I was sent to is a place that doesn't open until 9am. The people who worked there were great, and they did help us out, but it put us behind on everything for the rest of the day.
Richard HNo room for parking. I had to park 1/4 mile away and walk a major road way twice. Staff was either having a bad day or is just unfriendly and not helpful. I will not use this location again. The van had coffee spilled all in it and wasn’t cleaned. The sweeten creek location is the best in town unfortunately they didn’t have any vans to rent at the time.
Grant F79 cents a mile is steep. It cost me almost $45 for miliage to trave less then 60 miles round trip and store 28 boxes, and then put over 5 gallons of gas in truck when finished.
fred tBooked for pick up at Asheville location and when we arrived to get the truck they told they changed my location and I should have got a email or text. I checked and I never received anything. Had to drive another 20 minutes away to get the truck. Then had to pay for the extra mileage on the truck due to it being further away. Will definitely look else where then uhaul for my next move coming up. Also truck was beat up and drove hard had trouble shifting out of first gear and had to hold the wheel half a turn to the left to go straight. You would think uhual could would do better.

Greg SThe truck itself was in terrible condition. It was filthy inside and out. The dealer and one of his employees got into a shockingly loud, expletive-laden argument during the transaction. Midway through my move, the exhaust system on the truck went out and I was left broken down on the side of the road. Ultimately, the truck had to be towed. Now the closing on my house is going to be delayed because the move was not completed on time. And to make matters worse, I found out this morning that my credit card is being charged significantly more than what the contract originally stated. This is a nightmare scenario and I will NEVER give business to Jim Campen again.
Terry HClean up the inside of the truck front and back were disgusting. The engine light was on when I picked it up. And the guy that I felt with was very rude and complained the entire time I was there both times

SHELIA LThe location I requested was not even aware of the reservation even though I had a printed conformation. I was sent to another location and they didn’t have anything available. I was then sent to the third location and had to rent something that was way bigger than needed. This location was helpful but the whole experience was real frustrating. Your reservation system does not work! I will never use U-Haul again.
MARK TThis place is super crowded with other equipment and makes it confusing as to where to drop of your truck. The person helping wasn’t very friendly at all but all 4 dogs inside were. The online check in seemed fairly easy and there was a drop off box for the keys which was convenient.
Jett CNo one came out of the building to help, when I final got someone and reported my issues they said we don’t do anything with that, U-Haul will have to full up with you. They complained about the paper and cups left in the truck and as I told them they were in it when I picked up the truck.
