Rental was not set up as self check-in by location. 35 minutes on the phone with U-Haul to get the reservation switched and get code for key box. Lock on key box was very greasy and extremely hard to open. Whole situation was very inconvenient.nicolle L.

I Give an all 1 star rating based on overall experience not, keep in mind this rating does not reflect the location as much as the company itself, Jerry tried what he could to make it work but the office he called was not very helpful. Stop charging people for time they did not have the U-hal. Stop falsifying mileage. I was charged for 5 hours I did not have the u-Haul. I was held up for over an hour at the pickup location because U-Haul feels that I was going to steel the truck and wanted contacts before renting the dam thing even though they had my Credit Card Information and Driver License already on file at this point. I was charged for an extra mile I did not drive as the actual mileage on the trucks odometer was 1 mile higher than the mileage recorded in your system which is not revealed to the customer until after the rental is done. I also got charged for an hour after the return of the rental even though I returned it early as your system would not allow me to upload the requested photos of the instrument cluster or the truck condition. There was a face mask and some other misc trash left behind the seat, center of the cab from someone who had it before I. As for location I would not recommend any U-Haul to anyone at this point. Whoever Jerrys Auto called in Iron Mountain or wherever he called a U-Haul office to assistance that guy on the phone was okay with me renting from Penske when I was unable to find a rd contact for them That tells me U-haul don't care about their customers or customer retention.ROBERT M.
