Check in process was not an easy task, location wasn't open on weekends so it was all through mobile pickup. The app would not work properly, had to speak with agent through chat, then had to call someone and my 9 am pickup became closer to 10 am before was able to actually get the keys to the vehicle. As far as the uhaul location and the vehicle itself everything was fine, but the mobile pickup isn't something I would probably go through again, major headache.

Roy GThey were unable to print a receipt because "the computer was already in use". I was left standing in the rain while my husband and worker transported the trailer to some remote location. Staff was quite unfriendly, perhaps due to this just being a secondary job.

Stanley HThe equipment had dog hair all in, sticking material all over the dash, dried up puke in the floor, smelled like puke!! It was the worst experience especially with Covid 19. This should be against the law. You shouldn’t have to clean up anything and especially after paying over $800 for a few days. It was the only truck left so we had no choice but to get it. Didn’t realize the nastiness until after they had us pay. Didn’t get to see truck beforehand.

Russell KVery grateful for Jerry’s gracious help with reducing rental cost of truck/motorcycle trailer to assist with motorcycle transport during my vacation passing through while I had mechanical failure. Setting up reservation to correct drop off location was only complaint. Jerry was unable to do so in a timely manner and he was very conscious of wanting to get me on the road so i could take care of my motorcycle. Not Jerry’s fault but rather how easily he could create reservation with desired location using usual application. Need an override for dealers to manually enter these details. Motorcycle trailer had leaves in bed which didn’t bother me as it’s an uncovered trailer. Most of all the leaves blew out during my using the trailer but the receiving location was unaware of the condition I received trailer. I dropped rental at nearest location after hours and was charged a cleaning fee for the leaves found in trailer. Mind you it’s fall time and the trailer was parked for 15 hours overnight before being checked in. More leaves could have fallen into trailer while unattended. U-haul graciously removed the charge due to circumstances. Jerry was my savior that day I had a flat tire and I’ll always remember how graciously he helped me. Thanks for being there U-haul!
Michael DI booked online. At pickup, the location had no record of my reservation and could not find it in the system. Had to start over from scratch. Also, it would be nice to know some specifics of trailers ahead of time, such as; size of hitch ball needed, type of electrical connection used (flat 4 pin). Knowing this ahead of time means you can be ready ahead of time and not caught by surprise at the rental agent having to purchase equipment/adapters at possibly inflated prices.

joy kWe dropped off on a Sunday when he was closed and parked the truck as close to his auto shop as we could. However, we couldn't park in his lot because of signs stating do not block doors. We didn't know he had a drop box for keys so we intended to drop the off in person in the morning, otherwise we would have left them. Hence, we got a call at 7:34 am Monday admonishing us for parking on church property so we immediately ran the keys down at 8:00 and he wasn't even open yet.

Joesph LGentleman at the location was very nice and helpful but he did have difficulty with your computer program for information. Perhaps making a more user friendly system for reservations and checkouts at rental locations

lowell hI dropped off the 15' truck after hours so I can't evaluate the personnel or the location. I can say that the location emailed me before 7:00 am saying that the equipment was returned acceptably. Nice to have the confirmation quickly. Well done.

Joseph LAverage overall rating should not be considered a negative in any way, it was given because nothing extraordinary about the location or the service - I've used U-haul before in similar circumstances and this experience met my expectations. Service was friendly and professional, equipment worked fine - a good experience overall.
