Filled my tank up at the location, they spilled gas all over so I had to pay extra for their mistake. Charged me originally for two dolly's, during pick up they stated they only had one, never received the one. Rep at site didn't speak English, nothing was set up. Horrible.Aleksandar N.

I selected this location for the mobile pickup option. It does not have a mobile pickup option. Further, they altered my reservation by 1 hour.When I called the business nimber, the owner hung up and said I had the wrong number. So I waited outside in the rain for 1/2 hour. Nobody from the location or from Uhaul ever picked up the phone. Then they tried to charge me a two day rental...and I received a truck with an exhaust issue and poor fuel efficiency. My battery died when I stopped in the city, it was terrible!!! i missed my appointment, needed to wait for a contractor of Uhaul to come with the jump starter to help me and save me!!! and they charged my money for the ride I couldn't use the equipment, i lost time and moneySergii S.

Paperwork stated that the gas was at 1/4 tank which it was half that amount. The truck had debris and pieces of wood left from the prior rental. When I returned the vehicle, the gentleman was rude and refuse to park the truck in the location that he wanted it in. I only drove 67 miles and was charged for 89. The truck was only equipped with 12 moving blankets and I was charged for 24. I was also billed a cleaning fee for leaving the truck cleaner than how I received and I returned the truck with a 1/4 tank which was more than I received it. Very disappointed and expect a phone call, as the location has yet to answer the phone or return the voicemails that I have left for them.Joe J.

The truck was not cleaned - there was popcorn on the floor, the steering wheel was gross. I felt like I was riding in the subway. The gentlemen helping was nice but gave me his cell phone to speak with the Uhaul manager - it just felt a bit unsanitary.ANNE P.

my pick-up location was changed without any notification, which delayed my move, as I had to drive to a new location. My original pick-up location was in Bergenfield & I selected it because it was more convenient for me. If I was notified in advance, I would have scheduled accordingly. Have whoever is supposed to be working the business to be there until 5pm. They have to rely on the gas station attendant to work the UHaul business as well as the gas station. He did a great job juggling all those chores but it's not good for business.Adam C.

This location is wrongly addressed. It's extremely hard to find even with GPS. I was lost for almost an hour to find it had to take uber to the location i was provided and the Uhaul was not there. i was driving around and look for it till i found it!. The staff was friendly and helpful but the building was not marked visible at all. Horrible experience. We were late to be on the road.JAKUB H.

The mileage fee of 99 cents a mile is practically illegal. Fees added on top make it ridiculous. You should stop advertising 19.95 a day because it's nowhere close to that after adding in these additional costs. False advertising.Vanessa A.

Heres a rundown.. I originally made a reservation at Noscrala Sign Management Hackensack, NJ.. I went there at my scheduled pick up time and there were no uhauls.. I called the number on my reservation and some lady answered who could barely speak English, telling me to call another number.. I tried calling that number and no one answered. I was essentially screwed until I found this well run location in Lodi, NJ that saved me.. imagine if I wasn't able to find another reservation? My move would have been screwed since I was leaving a building and needed to be out that day.. then I got a call later in the day from that uhaul dealership confirming why I didn't pick up my uhaul. That phone number they called me from was nowhere on my reservation. And they understood but it doesn't make up the fact I was almost screwed.. this Lodi place saved my ass, but it shouldn't have to be saved.. thanks.PHILIP P.
PLUS: Location was open on New Years Day and I was able to reserve a van within 15 minutes of realizing I needed one. Computer system was not working well and the attendant didn't know what was wrong. Took a very long time to check out and back in, which should have been seamless with the "online" check-out. I don't think this was the attendant's fault - sounds like it's on U-Haul's end. The van had both low tire pressure and "needs oil change" indicators on when I got in. I was only doing a quick 90 minute move of a couple of items (drove it ~20 mi round trip) so not a big deal for me, but would expect the vehicles to be maintained better.AVIGIL C.
