I was told that my tow dolly would be at a location nearby. After driving 150 miles to pick up my car I was told that the dolly was another 45 minutes away and that it was the only one in the entire Spokane area. Hard to believe in a city of 250,000

The entire truck was full of sawdust when I picked it up. It took 35-45 minutes to get the truck which cut into my rental time. Cleaning the truck out and check out process at this location cost me an hour of moving time. Would NOT recommend.

My rep at Jarms is helping me escalate my claim against the pick up location without charging the added fees.

I reserved 2 trucks. Picked up the first one and they told us to drop it off at the wrong location. So we were not only charged for an extra day we were charged a $50 wrong location fee. Went in 2 days later to pick up the second truck and they said they couldn't let me have it because another customer had a complaint and so uhaul was making them hold the truck for them. I told them that they now had 2 customers that were upset! ( We were told at this location to drop off the keys in the drop box and they'd check it in in the morning... nothing was mentioned about them not being a drop off location until today when they called to tell us they were going to charge us.) I called customer service today and the said there was nothing they could do because we didn't respond to a text or email they sent to arrange a pickup location. BUT I WAS NEVER TOLD MY RESERVATION WASN'T GUARANTEED! THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND HAD PUT MY MOVE AND JOB OFF FOR ANOTHER WEEK DUE TO AN INDECENT JOB OF COMMUNICATION. I WASN'T OFFERED A DISCOUNT OR GUARANTEED RESERVATION EVEN AFTER ANOTHER UHAUL EMPLOYEE TOLD ME I WOULD BE OFFERED $50 OFF AND A GUARANTEED RESERVATION OF THE TRUCK WE NEEDED, NOR DID THEY MAKE ME A NEW RESERVATION! I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH YOUR COMPANIES WHILE PROCESS! I GOT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND AND NOT ONE PERSON ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THIS OR MAKE THESE ERRORS UP TO ME. I REALLY FEEL LIKE I SHOULD GET A TRUCK AT NO COST AT THIS POINT AS YOU'VE JUST COST ME OVER $1000 MINIMALLY AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A TRUCK RESERVED. I WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WILLING TO CORRECT THIS AND HOPE THAT THERE IS CORRECTIVE ACTON MADE TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TRAINING TO PICK-UP LOCATIONS. JODI PORTEOUS 1(509)322-5949

I put these ratings because we left 4 of our straps inside the truck and after 10 minutes looking at the vehicle (the 6 moving blankets were also in the back) the employee came in and said there would be no additional charge. No mention of seeing our straps. I will gladly change this review if they happened to not see them in the truck with the 6 blankets or forgot to mention it and they are returned.

The uhaul staff that assisted me was very pleasant, she was quite knowledgeable in regards to her duties and thorough in explaining details. I got through in a very timely manner and was on my way. Vehicle was also clean and seemed mechanically sound.

Outstanding customer service from Jarms Ace Hardware. Uhaul website has a lot to be desired. Took several attempts to complete the transaction, often frozen out a various steps. Need to up grade you website software.

Have the requested trailer at the requested site at the date and time requested. We did not receive a message that our pick up location had been changed until 2 hours after the specified pick up time, by then we had made other arrangements. All agents should have access to the online reservation. You changed our location, the place we were could not find our reservation. The online reservation system is useless.

there was a problem with the estimate on the printed form for refilling fuel. I followed the instructions to the letter. The original amount of fuel was incorrect and the staff in Cheney at Jarms ACE Hardware, caught the error and quickly fixed the estimate. Using the guild provided, I needed to go from 1/16 of a tank to just above 5/8. the guide suggested 25.5, and I filled with 26 gallons at 2.89 per gallon. Leaving the station, the 15 foot truck indicated that the fuel level was full. This is far beyond the guidance on the chart and I would like to speak with someone at U-Haul to receive credit for over fueling due to the inaccuracy of your chart.

Offer customers a discount on their next uhaul rental if they exceed the amount of refill on the gas. Maybe after 1 or 2 times to help make the customer feel rewarded after their loading and unloading

There was some sand in the cab that I noticed when I picked it up. i did not thin much of it until it cam time to drop it off. There was not much but apparently anything foreign to the vehicle as compared to its departure from the factory is not ok.

The man who assisted me at the uhaul counter was quick, courteous and helpful. The man behind the ace hardware cash register counter was not helpful directing us where to be helped. Uhaul counter was so tiny it was barely noticeable and Uhaul should have a better presence within carrier stores.

I stood in the rain for almost an hour and a half waiting for the attendents to hook up the trailer to the truck and to get the lights working on the trailer. The lights would not work so they switched out trucks to a different one that when returned last had squeeky brakes. After doing one lap around the parking they decided it was road ready. I was not to happy about this because I was driving the truck over 2 mountain passes. By the time I got over the passes the brakes were sqweeling non stop. Non the less I felt very unsafe the entire move. To cap it off I filled the tank back to where it was at the closest fuel station to the U-Haul center that I was aware of (new to the area) and got charged an addition $30 for gas that I promise you never got put into the truck just more money in your pocket. My company relocated me and I had the choice between you and Penske and I tell you what in the future when I relocate again I will not be using U-Haul.

Check the vehicle COMPLETINGLY. That means everything. The van I rented had a low left rear tire. they just inflated it to the correct pressure without checking why the pressure was way below the correct pressure. I had to inflate the tire daily on my 3 day trip.

The first time I went to rent a truck I stood there for about 10 min while 3 employees worked on a register. Then they said the u haul portion was closed 5 min ago. My next visit was a bit better. When I picked the truck the lady was great

The trucks should be better inspected and all damage should be marked so people don't get surprised the next time they want to rent one and when they say they are giving you more days make sure they did so you don't get charged for extra days and have the head office call it a typo.
