Totally unorganized-nobody even there to help for awhile.

Location had very limited parking for the U-Haul vehicles due to street parking. Gas gauge will always show lower due to the uphill incline of the street. U-Haul app was repeatedly causing the return process to start over when taking pictures. After 4 tries I had to use the website to complete the return process. The return process also did not provide the the lock code, luckily I had remembered the code during pickup. Only positive from the rental experience was the truck was new and clean.

The pick up approval process was bad. I was “Awaiting Approval “ for 50 minutes. The van should have a backup camera to make parking and backing up easier

Van was dirty. Mileage and gas on original contract were wrong. Agent pleaded with me to return the van by 3:00 since another rental was scheduled for 3:30. I returned the van at 2:50 and U-Haul agent was not in the office. Was told I need to wait for 30+ minutes for her to return. AWEFUL experience.

There was almost no street parking for my own vehicle. If there was a way to know that in advance that would have been helpful. There was also no person to talk to. The automation was very efficient and easy but it's still nice to have a person.

I believed I wasn't given enough mileage from Daly City and Lathrop, California. Instead, they had given me less mileage than my original destination. I think this is not fair paying extra mileage when you request your original destination.

There was no parking lot that you can return it at any time. I got ticket when I parked on the street.

location monitoring to know whether vehicle will be there at pick up time. it was great that this location (Esmarelda) called me to let me know the truck would be late. also, during holidays you should reassign vehicles and advertise the fact to more populated areas because fedex and ups take all rentals for amazon deliveries. i feel lucky to have been able to get this great truck under the circumstances. i’m told this happens every year. hope this helps.
