I reserved this truck a month and a half in advance. I was called morning of my reservation saying that you couldn't keep it unless I drove 45 minutes to another location. Nobody was at the location until 40 minutes after my reservation was set for. After talking to a specialist on the phone i Settled on taking the bigger truck from the original location for the same price as the 15'. That price was not kept. I was charged over $100 more to take the bigger truck. Also they did not have the tow dolly that I had reserved. So I still had to travel 40 minutes out of my way to another location to complete my reservation. More fuel that I had to put into your vehicle because you couldn't hold the reservation. Overall awful experience renting a uhaul this go around.

We called this place multiple times with no answer. We went to the drop off location and nobody was there. Needed a pair of pliers to remove the trailer so it would have been nice to have an attendant. Whoever runs this business is really bad.

I had to wait 1 hour for the attendant to arrived. Had backed up to the first transporter only to realized it had a flat tire. and so was the second transporter. had to removed a car from a 3rd transporter which appeared to be in bad shape.Did not observed the transporter being hook up closely only to get to the drop off location 500 miles away and discovered that one of the chain that hook to the pick up truck was not in place. This was clearly a discouraging as it could have caused a situation. I need to be reimbursed some of my money.

Be there when you say you're gonna be there, and when the district manager is supposed to call you to listen to you complaints and concerns that they actually give you the courtesy of the phone call instead of a very dismissive email.

Caution Buyer Beware: check your mileage prior to accepting the vehicle. I was charged 213 additional miles at drop off that cannot be accounted for. At the beginning of the rental the link to verify the mileage disappeared five minutes after it was sent to me , so I have no way of disputing their claim

The equipment was clean but the strap locking mechanism was poor and kept coming loose throughout the trip. The personnel at the pickup place would not change the insurance coverage when I asked if the extra coverage I purchased was for my vehicle and she said no it was just for the dolly. She could not help as she was not physically able to. and did not explain how to secure vehicle to the dolly. Very poor people skills.

Require your multiple franchisees / agents to honor their commitments!! The Powder Springs called the Roswell Street, Marietta, GA location and the agent stated that she only had local and no one way trucks. Hours lost and miles added, as well as expenses. Very Dissatisfied with the purported reservation system!!

Open on time. We waited over 1.5 hours. When she showed I told her that I had paid online and she said I was good to go. I got a call the next day from a manager saying that I had basically stole the tow dolly. I explained what happened and he fixed the issue.

Nothing. Tiffany has a go the extra miles customer service attitude. She is awesome. Any changes I had to make were always greeted with a smile. And believe me my changes were many! She’s a great asset to U-Haul.

Tiffany bent over backwards to accommodate me when my pick up time went from 6 am to 4pm! The app wouldn’t let me check my truck in due to IT maintenance on uhaul mainframe. No improvement needed other than I needed to read my contract. I didn’t realize I didn’t have to fill the whole gas tank up vs what I used but corporate gave me a credit! Tiffany at pick up even stayed 2 hours later for me to pick up. Best customer service ever at at George SC!❤️Thank you Tiffany for your abounding kindness and help❤️❤️❤️

When I called J and M motors to ask about a rental, they told me I needed to reserve the equipment online. I found the latest pickup was 3:45 pm and reserved a trailer, moving blankets and bought the Uhaul insurance. I arrived at J and M motors at 3:30 and had to wait outside of their locked office until 4:25 when the renting employee showed up. When I arrived at the location to load up the trailer, I discovered that they had only put 8 moving blankets in the trailer, and four of them were wet and dirty.

Clean the windows and assure customers the inside has been cleaned and sanitized. We should not had to scrub the windows inside and out, I don’t think they had been cleaned in 1 year. The interior was disgusting- had to clean all that too.

Store operator tried to make me pay an additional $30 for an extra day. I had already paid in full for 2 days and dropped the unit off on time. I disconnected the trailer and left.

The font on the contract prints too small. drop off INSTRUCTIONS should be Larger letters-IF I MUST CALL YOU DURING BUSINESS HOURS, WHEN I ARRIVE AT MY DESTINATION...I was not dropping your equipment in the middle of the night at an unknown destination, so brought it closer to my home... IT WAS RENTED for 3 days. You got in back in less than 24 hours. She wouldnt even take advantage of that, just wanted to charge us. (Since the drop off is another location.) The local "owner" in Saint George, SC told my husband she would charge him to accept the trailer. no thanks. He drove it home. Had to CALL you again.. I SAT ON HOLD AGAIN just to confirm the drop off location..so SHE WOULD ACCEPT THE TRAILER without a charge. Then we drove BACK to the UHAUL DEALER in St. George, SC. Like she couldnt have done that THE FIRST TIME he came to drop it off?..I told her the drop off CANT BE WRONG if it was NOT DESIGNATED. Stuff like this makes one try another company next time- ALMOST 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE and 2 TRIPS TO DROP IT OFF -2 DAYS EARLY.

The first place 1 800 U-Haul reserve the trailer for me at the guy didn't want to give me the trailer he must rented a lot for local use tried to convince me that the van that I was hauling towing I wouldn't fit on the trailer but in fact it would ended up getting the exact same trailer at J&m and they were wonderful staff was great you guys need to talk to that other company trailers for rent give it up what kind of computer system it'll tell you which one I reserved it at first and I'm not talkin about J & m they were fine

Unfortunately the vehicle was not clean in the inside and there was a problem with the vehicle. It was extremely loud, only to find out later that the catalytic converter has been stolen. The location was extremely helpful with the rental process. Just wish they had a smaller rental vehicle. The 19.99 verses the 39.99.

J'avais une location pour 9hres le vendredi 29 nov.. 9hr10 personne sur place ai attendu jusqu'à 9hr40 toujours personne essayé de rejoindre le préposé au tél. aucune réponse. Je suis allé chez Cusack (autre représentant) pas de 4X8 en stock. La préposé essaie de rejoindre le premier représentant, pas de réponse. Elle contact U-Haul, qui eux aussi essaie de rejoindre le représentant, toujours pas réponse. Elle me trouve un autre trailer à +- 20 milles de ma position. Quand je repasse devant J&M Motor Sales vers 11h45, le représentant est là. Je lui dit que j'avais une location pour 9hres. On dirait dit que cela lui passait 20 pi. par dessus la tête (espèce d'imbécile). Suis parti de là 11hr30 soit 2h30 en retard. En plus, à ma réservation, on m'a dit que je pouvais laissé le trailer soit Québec ou Lévis. Le mardi 3 déc. vers 9h30, une proposé au traffic m'appelle pour me dire de laisser le trailer à Québec et non Lévis (cerise sur le sundae) sinon j'aurais des frais supplémentaires et bien là, elle a entendu le diable au téléphone et m'a raccroché la ligne au nez. C'est ça U-Haul. Le trailer a été laissé à Lévis et plus jamais je ferai affaire avec U-Haul.

I was not walked out to the vehicle to see if there was any damage prior to me taking possession. Also wasnt shown the fuel level and later realized that the paperwork left in the vehicle was didderent than the fuel gauges. Be cautious when picking up a rental from here.

If you’re just dropping off a truck this location is very convenient. However there is no one there typically during open hours. But they are very responsive when you call the cellphone number posted on their window. The office phone voice mail stays full.

Hours were wrong. The place was not open when I was scheduled to pick up my trailer. When I called the number on the door, the person who answered was pretty rude and sounded frustrated that I was calling. Finally got my trailer about 45 minutes later. My boyfriend and I were not happy with this place at all.

The service of the girl who attended us at the premises, is an excellent person, very kind, very professional, helped us with the vehicle that we really need to not spend so much money. I am much more than grateful for the service of her personally, and I help her with the man who accompanied her to install the trailer towing car to reach the state of Florida. They need more people like them in their premises so that they never get a bad reputation anywhere in the United States of America.
