The owner started to take my info to get the van and stopped in the middle to help another customer who came into buy lottery tickets. I thought this was so odd and had to wait 5 minutes while he stopped helping me to help them? He was working with me on a transaction and stopped in the middle of it. The van was filthy and smelled rotten. I had to clean it before I could use it but the smell remained. It was foul. Never again. GraciasMarva W.

Worst rental experience ever. It's December in Ontario Canada, there was NO windshield washer fluid in van. It was so dangerous and unsafe to be driving that we had to turn around and return before able to complete our mission. The mirrors could not be adjusted and the bracket for the sun shield on the drivers side was broken. I had to manufacture a bracket to hold the shield in place. The printer was not working and I still do not have a copy of my contract and the representative was non apologetic and sarcastic. If the move was not an emergency I would not have accepted the unitCASSIE H.
I wasn't able to use the trailer because my UTV didn't fit, so I went back to return but didn't have anything to replace so they send me to another location which I got the right size trailer. Sadly they don't want to refund me anything on the incorrect size trailer even just a partial amount. So disappointedFELIX MARTINJOJO U.

Every single interaction with Uhaul over the years has been horrible. This most recent took the prize for most awful customer service I've ever witnessed or been subjected to. I had to drive hours out of my way do to Uhaul not having trucks available despite me booking it weeks in advance. This ended up costing me $300 and an extra 2.5 hours of driving for a simple one day move.ERIC N.

I will not be booking another truck through uhaul. I booked my truck on July 1st with a pick up time of 7am with mobile pick up and i was notified less than 24hrs before my moving day (July 30th) that I could not pick it up until 10am. How is that acceptable. I not only got 12hrs notice but UHAUL had ample time to tell me about the change as well as i had to shift all my moving help and was delayed by three hours on my moving day. Just unacceptable. I tried calling in to look for an explanation and I was on the phone for 2hrs.... horrible customer service. I will not book and will not recommend uhaul.Stephanie K.

Unfortunately we booked a 20' truck but at the last minute we were advised only a 17' was available. We had to move our 3 bedroom home by using a friends trailer and making multiple trips because not everything fit into the truck.Paul D.

First I booked a truck almost a month a head of time then at the last min I have to pick up the truck super far from my house got stuck with a massive truck which is not what I wanted I ordered a 20 for a 26 and then I was suppose to have 24 hours with the truck so from 6-6 but then somehow that changed to 5 I didn't get to rerun it till just after 6 and then I lost money because I was late eventho I was suppose to have it till 5 I lost 70 bucks because of that. I called by phone to make my reservation. I was to pick up at 9am a 15 ft truck. When I arrived I was told uhaul had sent me an emails and attempted to call me on the 28th... I didn't not receive either. I was told my pick up was now north oshawa. When arriving north oshawa told me my reservation was for 6pm.. 路â€â™€ï¸.. they sent me back to Hampton to pick up a 10 ft truck which I only had for 5 hours. It's in a convenience store, no resources, slow, and there's a much better location 20 mins down the road in Oshawa. I didn't pick this location, U-Haul decided to send me there instead of move a trailer 20 minutes down the road for me to pick up.Anthony M.
Pick up location was not anywhere near to any major city nor had items that were need for hitch on car. There was lots of miscommunication about address that resulted in overall 2 hours late start to journey. Educate workers on the drop-off regulations. One person says one thing.. the next person says another. No one really seemed to know the rules about how to return the equipment. Because of this.. There was NO sanitation process followed. I had the unfortunate experience of finding someone else's garbage under the seat. This is completely unacceptable especially given Covid! I also called in to your customer service department on July 25, the moment after I dropped the truck off. I was told I would have a response to my concerns 24-72 hours. Oshawa location on Taunton is terrible. They booked my trailer and when I got there they said that it's not a guarantee well then why did you make a reservation with me. Two other people in line when I was there had the same issue they reserved a truck and trailer and it wasn't there when they went to pick it up. How can U-Haul do this to people it's an important time when moving getting everyone together it's essential that the reservation is not just giving away to the next customer who walks in the door. Not the first time with the Oshawa North location. I was happy they were able to find me a trailer in Hampton but I was not satisfied that I had to drive another 20 minutes and it was a smaller trailer than I had previously requested and reservedMICHAEL ELLIOTT B.

The service was crappy and agent talking down at me. Gas was returned exactly the point I picked up from but agent was very rude. Explained that the agent I met when I picked up the truck never went out to verify with me the level of gas. Insisted that I go and add more gas which I did and I saw it as an extortion. Will never rent from them again. Paid almost $181 for rental of 6 hours. NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN.CHIGBO O.

Why was I charged for using a credit card and there is a gas station near the location but is closed all the time so you have to use more gas to fill up the use of gas that you used. So your paying more.James P.

The computer at the site was very slow. The gentleman was very helpful and kind. When you had offered me the deal of $99 you had said double the KM which you had said 250km you would give me. The man at store said it was only 200 which to get from here to Brighton was over 100 km so I would drop off in Brighton if I have to pay extra km. I left message on the 1 800 number and told them this, but have not heard back from them.Dale C.
