This was the absolute worst experience of my life. I had booked my 26ft truck 3 weeks in advance and received a text confirmation. I also called a week prior to confirm again (which they did) via phone and text again. When I went to pick up the truck they had told me the reservation had been cancelled. They had my wrong email address on file (which I told them to change twice) and the individual at the incorrect email address had emailed saying to cancel as he did not reserve a truck. Uhaul went ahead and cancelled without calling or texting me. I had two homes closing on that day and the Oshawa location refused to resolve the issue. They simply said they didn't have any trucks and there isn't anything they could do. They told me to call the 1-800 number and fix it myself. I asked for a smaller truck and a trailer, two smaller trucks or two trailers and they told me they couldn't do that. Simply brushed me off. I was eventually able to find a truck which I had to drive out of my way to pick up as the staff said "it's not our problem and we don't transport trucks". I was supposed to get a better deal due to the headache but did not. That being said I did not have the truck for as long as I needed and had to work through the night to pack everything up and still did not complete on time. I will be calling personally to explain the poor service, operations and complete lack of help & negligence from the Oshawa location and the booking department

First of all this is not a proper way to do two things at once serve customers in the variety store or serve a customer booking a U-Haul truck. English was poor and did not call U-Haul call center to resolve my problem. I myself had to call U-Haul customer service to rezolve the problem. Truck was not serviced properly on the road to Ottawa power steering went.

Lady in convenience store was rude. Spoke to me like I was an I'm imbecile for not knowing the drop off process. Demanded that I should take a picture of the gas and miles so that she doesnt have to.
