The only negative part of renting yhis uhsul was the girl checking in people. She wasnt friendly. Her answers when asked a question was if i interrupted her. Her son was on the computer behind her and she even was rude to him. So i would have to say her custoner service level was at poor.

They are not open everyday and I was allowed to booked online for a day they are closed. I got lucky and the owner was there and able to help me. They do not Normally have pick up when they are not open. They do not have a key box where you can do 24 hour pickup.

I rented an open trailer for a day, I picked it up by 7/14/2020 at 2:45 and told the person I will bring it back tomorrow this time, There were no instructions or written contract were not given, the next day I returned the trailer back, again there were no comment or objection about the return time or date, when they charged $60 dollars I was expecting return of $39.55 when I returned the trailer.when I sow the contract (I printed from my printer I saw the return time and date I was surprised, because I returned the trailer it was on or before 15:00 in the afternoon !! office is closed at 16:00 CONTRACT IS NOT CORRECT

The truck was absolutely filthy when I got it. I cannot believe that I've been charged extra for cleaning. At Uhaul's request, I took the truck a day earlier than needed and I returned it two days before it was due. I'm a regular U-haul customer and expect better than that.

When taking people's reservations, tell them if what they are reserving isn't available. Don't just automatically upgrade to a larger truck size. When I made the reservation for a 10 foot truck, I made it for a 9:30 am pick up. It was confirmed for 1:00 pm pickup. I called again and had that changed. When I went to pick up, I was told I was “upgraded” to a 15 foot. The truck ended up having mechanical difficulties and I was not able to complete everything I needed to.

The app based check out and particularly check in was problematic and time consuming. I understand it's to allow transactions outside of business hours but it is not quick or convenient, taking pictures in poor weather and with poor cell phone coverage at night... it needs reviewing to streamline it.

Driver seat would not move forward, I had several people try to move it forward for me and it would not. Also, I would have liked to have known about tying ropes to the wooden bars on the inside walls. I would have rented or bought rope or cords. Jake's gave me the wrong address for drop off, it's 4549 Guide Meridian not 5292. Added wasted time. Otherwise it went ok.

Cell reception on Sprint had no data, making it very difficult to check out/in the vehicle. Had to go back and forth between the gas station (for their wifi) and Jake's to complete the process. So, if Jake's could add public wifi, that would drastically improve the situation. Of course, best of all would be a redesigned process that uses an app and can transfer the data when connected, rather than at the point of pick up/drop off.

The manager was friendly and even gave me a ride to where I could drop my car off for the night which was very helpful. I wouldn't have needed the ride though if I had been able to pick up the truck at my scheduled time. Whether it was due to their location or the website, I will not be using UHAUL again. On my way to get the truck I reserved online, I was told I couldn't have it because of double booking. I was due to have it at 9am and couldn't get it until 130pm. All of the people that were able to help me move in the morning were then not able to and I had to to pack up and unload everything on my own. I filled the 20ft truck, it was a HUGE inconvenience and very hard. I will not risk having to do that again.

did a after hours drop off and U-haul emailed us this location and when we went to return with App it then said it was the wrong location. called 1-800 number and a woman was very rude and i would never recommend u-haul if this is customer service. we are the paying customer and should be treated a one. if i am upset by your mistake your company should be apologetic and helpful. After many years using u-haul maybe it time i take my business elsewhere.

I've been getting my lawnmowers serviced at Jake's for years, and was happy to learn they are now a U-Haul franchise. Dealing when them was effortless and they helped me get the best deal for the trailer I needed. I would recommend dealing with them directly, as opposed to going through U-Haul's phone or web site, for the best service.
