The gentleman assisting me had numerous customers show up right at 8:00 a.m. which would have been overwhelming to most people. He handled himself with professionalism, calm, and efficiency. I was very impressed with the UHaul dealership on Pelham Road in Jacksonville, Al. I will be sure to tell others!

1st 2 employees told us “we have no 4x8. Either take a 5x8 or go somewhere else.” A 3rd employee, Chris, said “we actually have nine 4x8’s on the lot” & was very helpful in getting us set up.

When I returned the trailer I had to pull it a block over and unhook the trailer myself. I’m a disabled veteran and can’t be lifting heavy things. They hooked the trailer to my Jeep when I first rented it, they should have to unhook the trailer if they have to hook it up to begin with.

Equipment was fine. I stood at the counter for several minutes with an employee sitting there working on the computer. I finally interrupted and let him know what I needed. He replied that he would be with me in a minute. I felt like it was an inconvenience to take care of me. He didn’t seem to have time to do it and finally called someone from the shop to take care of me so he could finish his order. I understand that may have needed to be done right away but he should have called someone else to help me as soon as I walked in rather than making me feel like my business was an inconvenience

Dropped trk off Monday night after hrs, swept and cleaned front and back. Could not work the apps to fill return info. Called to let them know I dropped off in lot with keys. Ellie from 800 # said I have to go back to uhaul in morning to close out contract or be charged 20 dollars per day. Another waisted trip! Went back to uhaul spoke to Chris, said I didn't even have to be here if I dropped off after hrs. Said uhaul will email me my closing receipt, I am still waiting on it. Not everyone has access to these apps to go online, or it does not go thru. Uhaul needs to make it more convenient and easy for their customers without delays and the run around. Bad enough with the loading and offloading, and long drive time Thanks

I was disappointed with this rental process. The vehicle was parked in a lot down the street so I had to go back and forth twice between the lot and office. The van should have been by the rental office. I also had to go back to the office for a third time because the blankets were not in the van. As for the mobile process it is a great idea but needs to be tweaked, for instance do the additional contact verification for approval at the time of requesting the vehicle, not while the person bakes in 95 degree weather.

Express Oil Change location with U-Haul franchise. Greasy oil change tech came in to do paperwork, unsure what to do. Location 12 miles away from where I reserved equipment. I don't appreciate having to drive 12 miles out of the way and then being charged for going ten miles over allotted mileage. If you can't send the equipment closer to me add that extra distance to the allotted mileage. Not fair.

As soon as I walked up to the drop box to start the return on my phone, an employee approached and offered to do the process in person. He went beyond my expectations in his willingness to help. I wish I had gotten his name and wish all places were like that.

The uhaul truck itself was clean and seemed new. However, I ordered and paid for 2 hand trucks and 2 dozen furniture blankets and they left them out of the truck....
