As I checked in to rent this truck he explained the after hours return, and if it wasn't done I would be charged $20.00. I thought right away this is probably very hard and doesn't work so everybody gets charged the extra $20. When I returned the truck at 6:30 pm I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes trying to do the online return. I kept getting errors saying it could not verify my location. I think this is wrong and I should be refunded my $20. I'm very dissatisfied and think this is a shady practice for a big business. I want a manager to call my cell phone and explain this to me. 262-388-0773.Dave Hermann

no masks, no fuel in trucks, got charged for low fuel even after putting fuel in and only driving 37 miles, truck only had 3/8 tank of fuel when i rented it, fuel gauges don,t read proper when its that low, should have been at least 1/2 when rented out.elderly people like me are not good with fancy phones or computers might not even own them, making people check out the damage on trucks and checking them back in or get charged on line is very stupid

The location we rented a unit from called the day before our move and said they wouldn't have a unit available but transferred our reservation to this location but they only had a larger truck, to offset the cost we would be issued a check. This place charged us 3 times what we would have paid and made us pay upfront and the took our reservation from 2 days down to 1 day. The guy was a real jerk.

Was unable to view text to view report on truck prior to leaving with it. Tried again 15 minutes later and message said I was too late! When returning uhaul was unable to log in to make sure I wasnt being ripped off in any say. System or person who assisted me may need updating!!

This isn't the locations fault probably. More about U-Haul scheduling and contingencies. My truck was not turned in which left me truckless on the day I needed to move. You sent me to Kenosha to pick up a truck but left no keys so I had to drive an hour each way for nothing. The next morning I was able to secure a truck and move but it was fricken stressful and way harded because of U-Haul's inability to deliver.

We as customers go through this terrible and tedious process with the truck return yet you as employees do not even check the truck yourself. Mine had a lighter, cigarettes, paint brushes and an empty Gatorade container in the driving area. Took pics asap when I first got in the car and left them there. Not touching that crap. With covid you would think the cab area would be at least checked and wiped down. Obviously not otherwise those items wouldn't of been there.

Dropped off the trailer and the personal asked if could put in a a specific spot which was no problem. The only issue I had was that Uhaul had me drive past at least three other uhaul locations to drop off my trailer 13 miles away.

I don't know what was wrong with the system. But we made a reservation for 9am. But the software locked the dealer out and couldn't process it. So we had to start over and do it again. I left around 9:15 after this was all figured out. I understand it is not the delaer's fault but rather the UHAUL website. Thank you otherwise great and easy.

The only thing I would suggest would be to issue a mileage credit when your closest Uhaul center doesn't have the truck you need. I live 15 miles or so away from the location I picked my truck up from because my closest location didn't have the one I needed. Not a big deal, just would have been nice. Thanks, Andy

I reserved the truck in Oconomowoc a month in advance and I was forced to spend 2 hrs on the road picking it up in Jackson. I am very unhappy about that and I am warning everybody about that shabby treatment!

Angela was a great help. Moves are always stressful, and when our scheduled movers canceled 10 minutes before they were supposed to show, she was able to set us up with a truck. Everyone was helpful, and when the after-hour online return didn't work, the online chat was quick to resolve my return. Thanks, U-Haul!

We had so many problems 1st last minute change of pickup after booking for a month. 45 minutes out of our way. Then driver left only to turn around something was wrong with the truck. Big granite stones lodged in between tires no one to fix it it would be 2 hr delay. My driver after and hour fixed it himself. The store owner was great and helpful it was not his fault. By now we are so far behind schedule pickup 730am he got to our house 1130. Unexpectable! Not sure if we will ever use uhaul again. I feel there should have been some compensation.

Trailers need to be equipped with a trailer jack. These trailers are heavy and mechanical assistance is needed to prevent an accident.

check the tires I had a blow out as they had tire rot. Make sure all knows the fender folds down. I had to use boards to drive on to raise my corvette above the frame. I have a new Tahoe with the round wire harness and needed the adaptor for the older 4 prong connection. Would have been good to know all this when I booked the reservation.

The UHaul website has inaccurate information about what is available at your locations. Get that information correct and your customers (like me) will have a better experience.

I reserved a 17 ft truck. Arrived and was told it wasnt available. I went with the larger option but not too happy nobody called or notified me. I should have been offered the larger truck FOR THE SAME RATE. The 15 ft was way too small. I also drove the truck the entire time AFTER it was loaded with the oil light on and just before I was going to get gas the check engine light came on. I did not put gas in because I just wanted to get rid of the truck. Overall, the rental location was decent and the gentlemen was nice and gave me good customer service but the truck itself was not as expected. Thankfully my move didnt require much driving. Picking up was easy and the drop off was after hours which was awesome.

Hate to wait an additional 2 hours just to get my uhaul because it wasn't at the location after I received a text the night before stating they moved my location. I will never use uhaul again. I got a $30 refund which isn't good enough for all the time I wasted waiting around.
