This was hands down the best and friendliest Uhaul experience I have ever had. The folks at Jack's were very friendly and helpful and made renting from here an enjoyable and positive experience.

When I walked in, I was not greeted. I stood around for 15 minutes and no one said a word to me. I found a lady in an office that was on a phone call, and she all but screamed at me, saying the Uhaul rental was closed. I explained to her that I had a guaranteed reservation, and it was only 2pm in the afternoon. She was not willing to help me at all. I went back to the show room and a sales lady asked if I was waiting for her. I told her what I needed, then she proceeds to the office with the first lady. Once she came back out, I'm not sure what happened but she had a really bad attitude, as well. Then she told me that she has other clients and that Uhaul rental was not their priority. I told her about her and her Coworkers attitude and that I didn't appreciate it, because I only walked in her and received a very negative experience. She said that this is how they are trained to treat people, very assertively. If I don't like it, then to bad. I was just ready to get the trailer and leave. This is just a quick summary of what took place. It was a little worse than this. Oh, did I mention that I'm a black American. I got really racist vibes from them. I will never go back to that place again and will not recommend that place to anyone. I will be writing a review on Yelp and Google

I had to find a last minute truck rental when my previous reservation at another u-haul provider didn’t have my truck available. This servicer went above and beyond to help me out with my last minute rental, and this isn’t their main area of focus.

I order moving supplies that I thought were at the pick up location but they do not have supplies at this location and moving supplies were delivered to my house two days after our move/rental date. Very confusing and frustrating.

Returned the trailer a day early. Counter person said she would take care of it “after her lunch hour” and sent me my receipt. Well…. That never happened. Texts, messages and phone calls the next day from U-Haul looking for a missing trailer. Tried to call after 2 pm- closed! Not a happy experience

I dropped off the truck at this location the day it was due. When I went into the office I told I had returned the truck and where I had parked it. The receptionist said put the keys on the counter. We're not going to be open for a few more minutes. There was no "walk-around" for damages or fuel. I assumed any needed paperwork/clearance was going to be handled. Several days later I get an email from uhaul national office saying where's the truck????

Easy pickup and drop off, trailer was great, the lady at Jack's made it very painless to rent the trailer.

Parking lot is not in great condition, with minimal lighting at night. The Uhaul was not locked, key was just inside the back of the truck. We rented two dollies, NEITHER was included in our truck, we chose after hours since we work late and we’re unable to retrieve even a single dolly. This caused our move to go extremely slow and was really inconvenient. The uhaul had an empty water bottle in the cab, and was not cleaned.

Two trailers were available. I chose the nice one, even though it looked faded and older. The other had cushion strips bent and coming off the walls with sharp nails stiout. Both had very good looking tires.

The trailer should have a crank because it’s way to heavy to lift especially for one person and someone 71 years old like myself. I believe the pick up facility should actually do the hook up not the person renting . It’s critical it’s attached correctly. At both ends pick up and drop off I had to ask for help and they seemed a little busy. On the Myrtle beach side there was only a female worker who had to help me lift the trailer off . In previous rentals in NY the facility always always loaded the trailer onto the vehicle not the user You need to look at this or you are at risk of lawsuits for Injuries

The truck I was supposed to get had a check engine light, then the new truck was not clear out at all. The new truck also pulled to the left if the steering wheel was centered, which made my trip more arduous. The truck was also more expensive than quoted.

The inside of the truck smelled terrible. They told me it might smell and that they have tried to clean it several times. The odor was soooo bad. they were up front and honest with me about it, but I do think the truck needs to have the seat completely taken out and the inside power washed with some kind of cleaner, I can't really express how bad it smells in words.

The truck cargo area was dirty and needed sweeping but otherwise things were clean.

Spent 30 minutes trying to return the trailer bon the app and spent another 30 minutes on hold also had to return back to the trailer another 30 minutes to follow additional steps told by the U-Haul rep to close the return on the app. This would have been avoided if the app would have asked me to use Google chrome instead of the app if I was using a Android phone.

Make sure the windshield is clean and there is fluid in the windshield wipers. There was no fluid in the truck we rented. Always have a full tank of gas so it is easy to have the same amount of gas in it when you return it. This location didn't have much to choose from. We wanted a pickup truck and a tow dolley, but had to rent a 15 foot box truck and tow dolley. All we needed to do was tow our car, we didn't have anything in the box truck.

My wife picked up the trailer and was not familiar with the hook-up. Asked for help and was told that it was self-explanatory. After struggling for about an hour, someone came out and told her that the ball on the receiver was the wrong size. It is not. They were going to let her drive off the u-haul site with an inappropriately attached trailer.Then they called me as I was returning it and asked if I could send them a photo of the hook-up. No help at all. Also their hours of operation are minimal .
