The lock boxes locks were hard to get in. The entry way was dirty with what looks like dirty blankets and trash. I ordered 2 dollies and only received one.

I was told not to make the reservations for the 1995 truck that he'll take care of me in the morning. when I got there it not the one I wanted to rent. I wanted to rent $19.95 that different truck than I actually asked for request. I had next one which $29.95.

Terry HibblerIt was concerning leaving the trailer out in the open. No one was there at the time but when I called, he said it was ok to just leave it there. He was the first one I spoke to that had room for the trailer. Many others I called couldn't take it because of space.

Lucia De gregorioThis was the worst experience ever. I highly recommend you NOT use this location. I had movers scheduled for a truck that was not available. When I called the location for assistance, I was told that I was lucky they answered. Needless to say, my move was canceled and I'm still waiting to hear back from the area manager.
Tiffany BumpersDo not send people to this location!!! Or, if you do send people to this location, inform them that it is dangerous. It is not in the best area of Chicago. I was terrified when I arrived to pick up my uhual as there were many people hanging out around the uhual, clearly up to no good. My Uber driver did not let me get out of his car. He got out and got my uhual keys for me- that’s how bad the scene around the uhual facility was. Further, when I quickly got into the uhual, it was poorly maintained, the gas tank was empty and the engine light was on. I also purchased a dolly and there was not a dolly in the uhual. Lastly, I went around 4 pm because I wanted to rent from a uhual representative. The store front was closed (even though I went during store hours) and no one was there to assist me.
Caroline ArnoldI ordered furniture pads and a dolly and they were not provided. As a result, my furniture was scratched in the moving process. I am really unhappy about this as I added the dolly and furniture pads during my reservation. I assumed they were in the truck, but when I got to my apartment, we realized they weren't there. The pick-up location had people struggling with homelessness and drug addiction, which made picking up very uncomfortable.

Angela TaylorThe shop was hard to find and was unpleasant to be in. We left with the keys and the next day they called us and said we needed to go back. That if we were technically driving a stolen vehicle because someone didn't ensure our payment method. All in all. I'd use uhaul but recommend not using neighborhood uhaul.

TEREANA JACKSONThis particular location needs a lot of work and upgrades inside and out. It was outside it was unrecognizable and inside there was no signs or anything that showed Uhaul services. Also, the Uhaul rep/worker had to come outside, in order for me to see which building they were in. The bottom line is that, this place made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable because the appearance does not go along with the services they offer. Thanks! carl ironsLocation was not the location reserved but 30 miles farther. The location is a dump, A hole in the wall shared with a Taxi dispatch. The U-Haul employee was not on site and we needed to wait 25 minutes for his arrival. Face mask was worn on the employee's chin, exposing both nose and mouth. Employee was helpful in moving the vehicle that blocked in the rental truck.
