This location confirmed my reservation a day prior and then when I went to pickup the truck and dolly and furniture pads, no one was there. When I called the number on the door I was able to get ahold of someone to be able to get inside the truck but once inside I found no dollys or furniture pads and the tank was only half full. I was then informed there were no dollys available and I could maybe get one in the next town over. At that store they only had one dolly available and it was not the type I needed. I don't know if this is a result of the location or a greater company wide issue with U-haul but I will not be using U-Haul again. Despite me calling to confirm the day prior AND checking online in the morning, this was very poorly coordinated.Emily S.
Nothing at all JS Towing was very accommodating in both picking up and dropping off the vehicle which were both after hours. I showed up at 7pm to pick a 10' truck up ("after hours"). When I arrived, it was covered in ice and snow. I Ubered there and had to take off my sweatshirt to get the snow off of the truck because I didn't have an ice scraper (it was about 25 degrees outside). I was also in sandals because I wasn't expecting to have to do this extra work and be outside for an entire hour. On top of that, the check-out process online requires you to give access to your location to even sign the truck out - rather than just acknowledging that you showed up to the site that you made the scheduled appt with. I talked to someone from corporate on the phone and she was barely any help but she got me through to the website and transferred me to someone else named Kyle. Kyle was great and understanding. I told him everything and he just listened and didn't try to make any excuses for the issues. He signed me into the account because I was still held up on that. And he gave me the code to the lockbox to get the keys. I went over to the lockbox and both the box and the truck were already unlocked. He told me that I'd be able to address these issues with this Uhaul location the next day (a Saturday) upon turning the truck in. That was a big NO. It's literally parked at a condemned building. There is no one to talk to. I did the turn-in process on my phone and it said I'd be contacted within 48 hours. Today is Tuesday and I have not been contacted regarding this issue... I hated this Uhaul experience. I do not recommend coming to this location!!!!! I could have been pulled over if sheets of ice flew off the top of the box of the truck.... not acceptable. Dissatisfied. Don't use the Hudson location!!Erica P.

Van in the picture is a hi top van. I was given a standard Chevy van. The cab had not been cleaned and the previous renters left a huge pile of blankets along with some sort of sign in the back. The location is abismal. No parking and no one to assist.Stephen D.

Was given a damaged/'for sale' truck: poorer than mentioned gas mileage; truck broke down and required a towing in NebraskaAnton H.
Being a first time customer we didn't understand the drop off process. Maybe an up front lesson would haves helped. We were not comfortable leaving your trailer without a person to accept it, but we figured it out. Overall a good experience!TODD ANDREW W.

Virtual Pick up was a disorganized mess. There was no lock on the truck as the app said, there ended up being lock boxes in a random location near a mailbox. The code i was given to unlock the box, per the app, was all letters but the lock required all numbers. If it was not for Cindy at the help line, who went above and beyond to help, i would still be standing out in the snow trying to get the key for my truck. I also rented a furniture dolly that was no where to be found...Nicole J.

Each time I have rented a u-haul from J S Towing the service has been exceptional. JS Towing has had the equipment to meet my needs. The location is convenient and the employees have always been friendly and efficient.MICHAEL N.
The reservation was scheduled for 9:00am but the office did not open up until 9:30am. No one showed up at 9:30 and no one answered the phone. I called the towing service that had the same address online and the guy told me he'd be there in about 10 minutes. He pulled up and told me to back up to the trailer and he would hook me up. Once I was hooked up he told me I was good to go and that he would bill me and email me the paperwork. Neither of these happened. When I got to my drop off location they told me that my reservation had been canceled.Frank T.

Steve was a nice enough guy, but he was not in the office when I arrived to pick up my truck rental. He also never returned my call when I tried to confirm the pickup location. I called two separate numbers to get ahold of him and he showed up after I called. Additionally, the truck was not clean and I had to sweep and clean up the cab and box before I was willing to use the truck. I would not recommend anyone picking up a rental at this place.shawn G.
There was a foot of snow on the truck. It's illegal to drive with it and I had to try and remove it. However I also has to Move that day so my time and energy were already taken and I didn't have a ladder or tool to remove a foot of snow from 15 feet up off the ground, so I took a chance and drove anyway letting snow fall the while drive.David D.
My pick up location was changed the night before my pick up and it was not changed to remote pick up, so when I arrived at the new site, I was not able to use the app to pick up my truck. I had to call reservations and spend about 45 minutes while they changed the pick up setting, so I could then use the app. I had issues at J S Towing as they were picking up trucks for UPS and told me they didn't have a truck for me, which in fact they actually did. Also the 2 dozen packing blankets I had ordered were not in the truck, so I had to go to another U Haul location to get them. After all of these issues and delays, I had my moving crew standing around waiting for me for more than 45 minutes. This was a very poor experience and I am not very happy with U-Haul.michael H.

When I pulled up, there was a small hut that I couldn't see along with a boarded up garage across the street that didn't have any markings on it. There was no one around also when I came there and had to call a number on a tow truck to get the person on the line. They told me to leave the keys in the car unlocked and they would 'check me in.' I almost left as I didn't think this was a reputable place as there was nothing really showing it was a drop off UHaul place. Definitely not what I expected even through the truck did get checked in within the hour.Michelle S.

Both pickup and drop off locations closed so if no opinion there. However, reservation was made via Pheasant Lane but we did not know that pickup was changed to Hudson. If you ever have to rent in Nashua NH do not use the Pheasant Lane Mall facility. The manager, Joseph, was rude and arrogant and of no help. I recommend the North Nashua facility. The manager, Debbie, was more than helpful.Nasser T.

Place was like a little shack, there was no instructions or anyone to deal with there, the sign said they didn't open until 9:30, I called the manager the day before to confirm my reservation and he was rude, and just said I'm all set that I'm paid for it and that's it. No one did an initial inspection with me I had to call the main uhaul number to figure out what was going on with picking up the truck and getting the keys, I was late with my moving start because I was on the phone for over a half hour trying to figure out how to get the truck when I reserved it for 7am, I didn't leave the lot until almost 8am and the truck was very dirty and in poor shape and the gas wasn't all the way full, plus my original reservation was suppose to be in Lowell, MA and the night before they said I had to pick it up over a half hour away from the original location so more driving for me, overall I had a very bad experience with uhaulAlejandra D.

Steve is misleading with regard to when equipment may need to be back, also he was not present on site when I arrived. I had to call him to find him. I was assigned a 6 hour rental when I planned to borrow for 24. I reserved on a Friday to borrow a truck on Saturday, since his store wasn't open on Saturday. I was billed for more time than I needed. He didn't offer me an option to start my rental later and said it was fine if I didn't pick up the truck until Saturday. I did not get a notice to pick up th e truck at a lock box. I had movers at my house by the hour and was delayed over 3 hours trying to get someone to assist me with the lock box. When I did, there was no key! They then searched and gave me a new lock box which had a key for a different vehicle. I paid over $300.00 in penalties because no one informed me of the lock box location.Charles M.

Do not tell them to get there "early" to set up truck through app. Tell them get there 30 minutes early to setup truck as that is how long it took to get the truck using the app. I drove off with the truck 20 minutes past the pickup time.Joseph M.
The truck did not have the requested blankets or dolly. I called the guy at JS Towing and told him I was stopping by to give him my license and information to avoid the online procedure, but the guy did not tell me I would still have to do the online procedure. He said all I had to do was CALL Uhaul and I would be set. Turns out it took well over a half hour to complete the online procedure. I requested the audio transcript of the interaction. I filed a complaint. If expect to hear in the 72 hours from Uhaul about the complaint.Cheryl H.

I was happy with the truck. The condition, where it was located, how it ran, the easy of how the truck drove. I did the express pick up using my mobile phone. I was very skeptical it was going to work but was pleasantly surprised. The one little glitch I had was easily fixed by calling the owner. He talked me through it over the phone. I was mistakenly giving the wrong password for the lock on the back of the truck. He gave me the correct password...and away I went. I would recommend them to anyone. The truck, the ease of mobil pick up and the location, was easy to find, were all what I expected from Uhaul. Thanks Steve from J S Towing. Cindy Lcynthia L.

When I arrived there was no one there. I called and got an answering machine. When he finally called back, he said he was out on an emergency, but the keys were in the visor. Nobody ever told me this, so I did not pick up the van until 9:00 AM. I dropped it off at 5:00 PM (not 6:00 PM, as stated in the invoice). Nevertheless, there was nobody there when I dropped the van off. I would definitely not, repeat not recommend this location, although I was pleased with the rest of the U-Haul experience. I am certain that this complaint will go into the big void, and there will be no corrective action.Charles L.
