The gas tank had a hole, I very nervous but they were able to get me in another vehicle in seconds. The return uhaul was fantastic they gave me credit for my gas that I bought and wasted from the hole in the tank.GREGORY G.

You did not have my uhaul size available. The person helping me said there was my size available at a uhaul nearby. I went there, and they said they didn't have it. I went back to the original location and took a smaller size at about the same cost. This wasted a lot of my time. The whole experience was terrible.John B.

The app did not provide clear enough drop off instructions, like the code to access the padlock for the key drop box. As soon as I finished the truck inspection the app finalized everything without instructions to access the lock, like the code. Very inconvenientCAMERON W.

Actually call customers to confirm reservations, do not change the area of pick up 3 times within 2 hours before any shops open, and do not state items will be available with the truck when they are not.Cassandra B.

The mobile app didn't work properly, everything else followed suit. No truck ready on pick up. Multiple calls telling me to pick up truck after I'dalready picked it up. No drop off instructions. Etc etc etcVanessa R.
I elected for mobile check in. Upon check in, the mobile chat rep asked for my military pay stub. I told him this was an abnormal request and â€œnoâ€ and he ended the chat with me. I had to spend 20 minutes with the storage facility staff to resolve. Additionally, my reserved contract which included a drop off destination near my home was not confirmed once I picked the truck up. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Thank god the staff was accommodating and fixed it.Aaron B.

Your employees give the most beautiful welcoming and informative customer service I've EVER experienced with u-haul truck renting. Most definitely recommend istorage. Moving is stressful and they made it pleasant.. the Sunnymead u-haul location was an awful experience for me previously that I've almost given up on u-haul BUT istorage CHANGED my mind. The only problem we encounter is when we reserved the uhaul online we we're sure it meant we'd have a truck available. Next day I get a call stating the nearest truck was 15 miles away. Talk about huge inconvenience. We had to eventually Size down on the moving truck in order to be able to move by the time we had anticipated moving.Gasiel G.

Our first location was switched to a 24/7 option without our knowledge. When we arrived that location was closed and no one was working. We were not given a dispatch code and then had to switch locations finally to this one.Leslie M.

Employees not properly trained Re; simple process of confirming rental information and printing nor able to email confirmation to give to customer for truck rental. Trucks not cleaned out nor trailer. After waiting 30 minutes or more for staff to complete my rental process that was confirmed and paid on line before arrival someone else comes in with a problem from a prior rental issue and they both stop assisting me and make calls and resolve 2nd customers issues before they return to me and just tell me they will continue to work on my email confirmation after I leave. ?? an hour of wasted time!!!Daphne D.

The lady who help us at this location was very nice and helpful however or experience with the other five location we were sent to and the people we talk to on the 1800 number was so so horrible they sent us to 5 different location to pick up a truck and not one of those location did we get one we were from one city to another from 6:30 till 12:00 am and did not get a truck this was worse experience ever it's was like a nightmareandria G.

I made my reservation on line and was aware of the 99 cents per mile fee. There was nothing no mention of gas. We picked up our truck and were advised by the associate about the 99 cents per mile fee; no mention of a gas fee. Upon returning the truck, we were informed that in addition to the 99 cents per mile fee, we would have to pay $30 for gas plus $5.50 a gallon because we let the gas gauge get too low! All of this is in the contract that I signed, however, I think this information should be presented on the website and certainly orally when you are picking up your truck. The seat belt warning signal buzzed continuously in the truck we rented; no compensation for that- it was â€œfunnyâ€. Not to us.Lori G.

Go thru the inspection procedure with the customer like every other uhaul not everyone knows that when u drive off the lot its ur responsibility to check everything. I prefer to trust the person dispatching the vehicle that he or she did their job accordingly. I entrusted the person giving me the vehicle it wasn't until I got home that I saw the gas was not where they said it was and when I try to call and ask they told me it's my responsibility such poor customer service I only moved locally no more than 2 miles from the uhaul place.John T.

You can improve the concept of not only scheduling customers but double checking to make sure your customer's order is stored in the system! Also, if it's not stored in the system, which should be & to understand that others are involved with the move to, such as movers, friends, family, furniture stores, etc., as every second counts, there should be a major incentive for the company's mishap! I experienced a very unprofessional experience at my last visit when I even had the documents but it was not stored in your system & someone cancelled my order, not to mention, the one that cancelled my order did not even work that day! I had to also wait an additional hour for a service that I reserved a week in advance to not to go through the drama, which I went through anyway! They took care of me after the fact but I went through hell for an employee mishap & did not receive any incentive! Smh, Do better!Gloria C.

We filled the gas gigher than intended and was told that a credit or refund would not take place since it was through Uhaul and not the storage facility. Also my husband had a prepaid card that we intended on using but was told we were not allowed to use that type of payment method and were inconvenienced to leave the facility to retrieve an alternative.Alvin O.
