I was very impressed with the customer service when I picked up my truck. He went above and beyond the job requirement. If the customer has to drive out of the area to pick up the truck they need I feel that U-Haul should reimburse the gas. I lived 2 BB locks from a U-Haul provider but had to drive to Madison and then Lacey's Spring to get a truck. It's not the customers fault that U-Haul doesn't have the adequate amount of trucks/trailersKaren F.

Stoped by the day before to try and return a trailer early. Location was closed do to "staffing". When I went back 3 staff persons were out on the grounds and not in the office. A problem because of the gate access. They did help but was not the most convenient experience I've had.JOEL S.
I arrived to pickup at this location originally. When I got there they were "out to lunch". I called Uhaul corporate and they changed my pickup location to the Scottsboro location. I dropped off at this original location in Lacey Springs, but now I've been charged for a one-way rental. I wanted to speak with someone at the Lacey Springs location when I dropped off the trailer, but AGAIN, they were out of the office.... this time the sign indicated "due to being short handed". I've made ten phone calls trying to find the right person to get the rate changed from a one-way rental, back to a local rental. Uhaul itself is a scam. We paid 400 dollars for a truck rental that came with zero tie downs or ratchet straps, then was charged an astronomical amount for fuel related costs, even though it didn't cost 40 dollars to get the tank up to a quarter of a tank where it was when we picked it up. Having said that, if it is to be refueled to a certain amount before being available for pickup again, ours was not. It was at a quarter of a tank when we got it, causing us to have to stop what we were doing and fill the truck up the day of the move. All in all, the experience with uhaul was poor.Andre B.
I arrived at around 1:45pm and the store was closed as the one employee was out to lunch. I could find no drop box, especially one that looked like the picture online. When the employee eventually returned and opened the store, I went in to find her eating her lunch. She said, in a condescending manner, that she had a drop box right on the front of the store. It turned out to be a small mail type slot on the side of the entry door that wasn't labeled in any way. After several long days of moving activities, waiting for her and dealing with her condescending tone will definitely impact my future decisions to go with that location and U-Haul for my moving needs.Donald M.

I arrived at 12:58 PM yesterday to turn in my vehicle. The counter person was too busy talking to her friend in the office to process the vehicle at that time, and said I'd be sent a receipt. Unfortunately, the bill was finally processed at 1:29, and that cost me an extra day, since the vehicle was checked out at 12:26 (considering a one hour grace period). I'm sure it didn't matter to her, but $40 is still $40 to me.Joel W.

The rep was very professional and attempted to accommodate in the best way possible given the circumstances. The truck rental was not at this location due to not being returned on time and I was forced into picking the equipment up from another location approximately 10 miles away. I arrived close to noon, and there was no one in the office; there was a sign that said "gone to bank be back shortly". I waited almost half an hour, then left. I took pictures of the mileage and the truck and transport in case there might be issues. Fortunately none, but a business that is not staffed during business hours should not be a U-Haul dealer.Jeremy S.

Locations were fine but my experience with uhaul was terrible. I went through 3 customer service reps and wasted over an hour trying to register that I had picked up the uhaul. They made me take it back to the CLOSED location while they fixed the problem. Very frustrating.Jeannie J.

The trailer was dirty, and had dark looking stains on the right rear part of the trailer. I had to sweep it out, and I tried to get some of the black stains off before using it.I made the mistake of telling the rental person I was planning on loading things at my house at New Hope and taking them to my son at Union Springs, and he was loading more things in the trailer at Union Springs, and taking it to Chickasaw Alabama. That resulted in me having to rent the trailer, and turn it in at Tuskegee, AL, and my son having to rent it there, and turn it in at Chickasaw, AL, which wound up costing about twice as much for the move. I suggest making it where you can list and alternate driver, and towing vehicle, so that you don't have to go to so much trouble, and expense, to do what we did.John B.

I was very pleased with the service I received at this location. I had went to the location on South Memorial Parkway at Advantage Storage and I spent around a hour in there and got nothing accomplished. The man behind the counter wanted to charge me $500 to rent a Uhaul and I just knew something didnt spund right about that. So I would like to give the Lacey Springs location appreciation for doing such a great job and fixing the issue and helping with our move!Samantha D.
Had to go to another location to complete my rental. No one there knew anything about hooking up tow dolly or how to load my vehicle. There should be a list of problems on my account. A regional mgr was supposed to call me to discuss a refund but no one has called. Have been a customer for 50 years. This was an awful experience. Many problems.william H.

Get updated information on your web site. The site indicated that I could pick the trailer up closer to my house, so I selected that option. When I got my conformation it was for a location farther away. Turns out they were both iStorage so she was able to tell me that they don't even have trailers there. I chose a pickup time based on the closing time ( BTW, your site has the closing time wrong too) of a location that didn't even have what I needed. The location told me the truth and was very accommodating in adjusting my pickup time. That should not be necessary, it isn't tooo much to ask that your web site be accurate.Christopher C.
Starting mileage was put in as Kilometers so the allotted miles of 156 was not enough when I returned it and it wanted to charge me an additional $35 for mileage when in fact I had only driven 151.tim M.
