Can’t think of any real improvements that you could make except to possibly move it closer to town. The young woman who waited on me was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable (my contract somehow got lost in the system), fixing things up in a very timely fashion.

The service was slow at the location. But much more importantly, the lack of maintenance of this UHaul truck made this move one of the most difficult experiences I ever had in my life, and I'm not exaggerating. There were THREE failures of the truck: First the engine failed, then TWO separate flat tires, both of which were due to tires that were too old and had not been maintained properly. You can barely imagine all the troubles, extra costs, delays and ordeals, anxiety and stress we had to endure due to THREE unforeseen stops for truck maintenance, one of which was in the middle of the night in a snowstorm. I will NEVER use UHaul again and will seek for a company that can provide trucks that I can rely upon. One failure would have been unfortunate and understandable. Three failures over 600 miles is just utterly unacceptable. This move was hellish and the sole reason for that was the egregious lack of proper maintenance of the UHaul truck that we rented.

Make sure to clean out the backs of the trucks between customers. There was a shopping bag full of personal items and trash left in the truck we rented.

There are several U-Haul locations that are 4-5 miles closer to me, than this I Storage Facility in Desert Hot Springs Ca. As long as Marie and Jennifer are at this location, there is almost nothing you can do to improve the quality of service! I have rented from this location at least a half dozen times this year alone. Always prompt, and extremely friendly.

I drove the truck from rental place home about 6 miles and when I drove out of my driveway to return rental truck , the driver side rear tire was flat.? It took over 45 minutes for someone to finally answer the phone at roadside assistance.

They were very helpful when I was checking into to process prior to renting the vehicle . They were cheerful and accommodating. When picking up the vehicle in Simi I noticed the paperwork showed 50 less miles than was on the odometer. I took a picture and followed the check in directions . After returning the vehicle I received an email informing me I was charged an extra $ 16 for going over on mileage . I went on line today and was informed I was correct and should get a refund. I am waiting for my refund .

Truck was very dirty in side spent a hour to clean it.Also picked it up they said there was a third of a tank in the truck when I got in the truck the fuel light was on there was very little gas.The truck was very good on our trip.

Call Uhaul several weeks before my move. I reserved two trucks. The day before my move I called Uhaul to see if I could pick up the trucks. Uhaul never bothered to call me. They told me they only had one truck I needed two. I asked them when they were going to tell me that when I showed up and they weren’t there. They also said that I can pick them up in Hemet I had to go to desert Hot Springs to get the one truck.

The Good: The truck was clean, good on gas, had great A/C and did not lack horsepower. The Bad: There was NO loading ramp which made it very difficult to load and unload. The Ugly: The attitude of the employee on the return was extremely poor and turned what would have been a good experience...into one that I would not wish to deal with again. If I had to deal with that employee again...I'd chose a different location.

Taking pictures of the truck and mileage/gas odemeter was a nuisance when its the job of the uhaul employee, which the customer now has to do, its too much extra work when people are in between moving and dropping off the truck, you should at least offer a discount. Thanks

I was over charged and unaware if I drop of the truck and key in the drop box I would be charged and I was over charged for the Dolly's which I shouldn't even had to pay for after renting the truck and storage I was really unhappy the service was great overall it was just the over charging I was disappointed in

Manager/Desk Attendant was extremely rude in the process of the rental. UHaul customer service changed my pick up and drop off times and location due to this location not servicing after hours due to thefts. The manager made it about me and acted like I was putting her out by changing the plan all on my own. If I had not needed the uhaul for our move yesterday I would have cancelled my rental.

Truck was dirty with trash inside cab and cargo area had trash as well. Was not swept out. Was told truck ready to go. Had no gas or apliance dolly that I had reserved. Also had a cracked muffler. Could not hear yourself think let alone a radio. Will not use, or recommend u-haul.

Next time I move I will probably not use U-haul. This was a temporary relocation in between homes and the cost next time will be out of my pocket. The truck was dirty when I got it. The truck had a check engine light that I told the rep about and she told me that it was only a sensor on the gas cap. The truck smelled strongly of gasoline during the entire move and when I returned it they seemed to brush it off as no big deal. I also do not like the fact the trucks are not full when you receive them but they have in the contract that they will charge you a significant amount of extra money if you return it with any less than it was given to you. I also had issues with getting the reservation extended through the return location. They were very rude but the uhaul rep that I was forwarded to helped. All of these issues may have to do with the sites I dealt with but once again...first impressions. Next time I will use Ryder. They have never given me the issues I experienced here.

The lady at this location got stuck with a mess caused by one staff member in Cathedral City u-hall. She tried to help straighten the mess out but her hands were somewhat tied. The who thing was not her fault, but after 3 hours trying to get a car hauler that we reserved at Cathedral City, she caught the blunt of our frustration.
