Stop doing or completely overhaul online pick up/drop off. That aspect of my experience was a complete nightmare consuming more than 30 minutes just to pick the truck up and it wasn't even the correct truck I ordered

Kelly and Shawn were both a pleasure to work with. Easy, convenient, reasonably priced operation with equipment that's in good shape. Easy 24 hour drop-off. Combining UHaul and iStorage in one facility that's close to Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and Sarasota, makes it a go-to location for any move.

Rental truck had more than 100,000 miles, rear door would not lock properly, until I arrived at my furniture pick up location 50 miles a way, got tools and fixed it myself. No walk through inspection was performed with me first, that would have identified this problem before I drove away from U-Haul. Rental was on a Friday, which I discovered U-Haul considers a weekend day. Mileage rate increased from $.79 a mile to $.99 a mile. Guess all weekends are three days now. Good luck figuring out how to return a truck with only 1/4 a tank of fuel too. Could not take a chance of running out of fuel on the highway when I picked up the truck, had to put in gas immediately, so U-Haul wins with a 1/2 tank of fuel when you return the truck.

I tried to explain the condition of the truck. Needed to be pulled an maintained. Strong gas fumes in cab of truck. Temperature extremely hot. Melted a whole jar of vaseline. Employee did not want to listen only informed me to put key in drop box. I was constantly bothered by text messages and a phone call when I was returning the truck. I had it rented for 5 days and was not even near my time of 5 days up when contacted. It took a lot of gas. Checked outside and under the hood plus under truck in parking lot. There was no visible gas leak. We I got to my destination my son-in-law thought it was the Cadillac converter.

My reservation was given to another person and I was sent to a different location 10 miles away. The web site advertise a guaranteed reservation or you pay $ 50 to the customer, you did not pay anything and it cost me more mileage. Dissatisfy

We had a terrible time picking up our van. The day before we uploaded all our information and when we got on site we had to do it all over again. It wasted 35 minutes of my time. The person who took my reservation messed it up three times then I received three texts with the wrong information. The whole experience was a headache! The van was clean and nice to drive that was the only plus.

The person at the location was not helpful and your app would not take a photo of the odometer at the start. You need to have better in-person service at your locations during open hours.

I would have given location a "poor" except for corrective action taken by attendant on the spot. Truck had a water bottle full of urine in the back. In fairness, attendant removed bottle and mopped truck bed - that's the only reason I kept the reservation. No dolly or blankets in the truck as ordered. This all resulted in several interactions with staff - making "online" process ludicrous in addition to infuriating - yes infuriating - THE WORST ONLINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE OF MY ADULT LIFE - I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!! I ended up on the phone with customer service and online at the same time with the software failing to prompt me for required steps, not accepting my wife's cell as a backup, needing to contact my secondary backup (at work unable to break away from a conference call) - WARN people that they will need to be WAITING while you call to verify their alternate number - all the while with IM and customer service rep helping me troubleshoot -all while standing in a parking lot next to a bunch of homeless guys....Figure out how to make it easy/intuitive or put masks on your staff (the one who had to unlock the door 3 times to help me anyway) and make it efficient for crying out loud!

Thank you for giving my sons a 15ft vs 10ft when you ran out of vans as they picked it up later than reserved. I looks like you have a clean facility with great location. The charges were reasonable and website was a breeze for ordering what they needed--wish you great business luck in the future

Unprepared for my arrival. Had removed the requested appliance dolly from the truck because clerk "did not know" I had reserved one. I offered to take it to the truck with me, but left it in the truck when I returned it. Clerk appeared unhappy I had not done their job for them. Lots of UHaul experiences so I know what I should be able to expect.

They charged me $50 for gas when there was actually MORE left in the tank than when I got it. I was given the option of dropping it off at 1 of 4 locations, but apparently when I chose the one closest to my home they wanted it taken to a different store CHARGING ME AN EXTRA DAY. Will NEVER use uhaul again because of the gas issue. TAKE PICS OF GAS GAUGE WHEN YOU START AND END!!!!! Drop off Store closed for meeting in the middle of the day (noon) and did not open at 12:30 like the note said, had to leave keys in truck since my pick up ride arrived.

Everything was fine we are only 3 miles from pickup location "SR 64 and I-75" in Bradenton FL and put less then 40 miles on it. The staff was helpful and very nice. If we every need again we will defiantly come see you. Thanks again Sam Smith

After review of my bank statement I noticed a $25 charge to Starbucks corporate office in WA. My bank couldn't tell me that location the credit account for Starbucks was used but I was kind of confused when the sales person Took a picture of my insurance card and debit card, I guess that was for when the final purchase upon dropping the truck off would be. I have 15 auto pay set up on my debit card and the only way to contest the charge is if they put a stop on my account and issue me a new card which would take hours to set up all of my auto pays again. I would like a refund of $25 to my Visa card and would like you to investigate the sales person representing your company. I'm kind of confused as two if I should close the account for fear of them charging more for my card. My phone number to be reached is 941-685-1719. Please get back to me. The date of the metal was last Saturday January 19 at approximately 930 in the morning. Thank you PS I have photocopies of the charge and timeline as to when I rented the truck if you need them

Truck cab had ants in it which was unacceptable. I also found when I received the emailed invoice that they charged us $25 for cleaning after the truck was returned, when it was in exactly the same condition that it was when we picked it up - empty and clean. I consider that price gouging - will be reporting it to BBB and the city.

I received a text message telling me where to drop off the truck. I arrived at 11:30 am and there was a message on the door stating that the office would reopen at 12:45 pm. There was also a message that said to not leave any keys. I went back 2 hours later and was told that this location did not accept one ways. I called UHaul and they kept claiming that I was wrong!!!! Finally they gave me another location to return the truck that was 10 miles away and it took over an hour for them to accept the truck because there paperwork indicated that the truck had already been returned. They also stated that the truck that I rented was not a one-way truck, it was an in town truck.
