There was no parking lot, no key drop. Staff didn't know what was going on. Would not recommend.

The uhall was parked on roadside. Then I found out the uhall with 2 parking ticket, so I had to come back to the shop to notify that. Then next time I found the back door locked with a lock and she didn't mention that. So I had to come back to get the combination key. Then I found out that its locked from opposite side (back side on front). There was not enough space to see the combination for the lock (on the front side). So to unlock it I had to use my selfi camera with tiny gap between the lock and the door to see the combination and spend around 10-15 mins to unlock. It was a bad experience for me.
MD UThey didn't know where the truck was, and when there was an issue with the rental they were not around to assist even though it was during open office hours. I would not recommend renting from this location. The truck was also really dirty, nothing crazy but would have been nice if it was swept between renters.

Jesse TAfter taking the pictures and moving the vehicle to the location the Attendant wanted I locked the keys in the truck. The Attendant calls the supervisor and asks what to do. They would have charged me 200 to unlock the truck. I decided to call the tow truck the next day and pay 91 dollars. When I returned the keys the next day, a different Attendant says to me, during after hours drop off they usually ask for the keys to be locked in the vehicle anyways. So either the supervisor and first Attendant wanted to make a 200 bonus commission or waste 91 dollars of mine. What is the right procedure?
Mark LThere is literally no parking in the entire area save for a very limited area on one side of the street that is perpetually full. There was no space to park it close to where we recieved it and every free spot had a one hour limit.
Lawren PIt is very difficult to find parking in this area, and there were two parking tickets on the UHaul I rented because they just park in residential parking. I asked for a dozen blankets, but they were not in the truck, but I was still charged. I was also charge for a dolly that I did not rent. I could not see the mileage on the truck because it had a message, "SERVICE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM". It was a little worriesome to think that the truck tires might not have been functioning properly. I was told 19.95 per day plus $1.09 per km, and then it went up to $1.75 after only ten km. That is outrageous, especially when you consider that the last 2 trucks I rented in Chemainus were only .89 per km for mileage. I have been trying to call the number that is listed on my receipt, but it is never turned on.
jackie sDid not offer 24/7 drop off and didn't know about this until I was finished with the move. No instructions on where to park and didn't have a lock box for the keys. Had to park the vehicle and return keys following business day (two days later) and U-Haul manager wasn't even there! Turns out you have to park in the street (city parking) not the store parking lot. Will not be picking up or returning vehicles to this location again. Super disappointed it's not managed properly. Only turn around was U-Haul's customer service who helped me, and allowed me to end my rental on time on the app so wasn't charged for additional days! If you have issues with this location call U-Haul!!!
Rachel HDon't overcharge just because you have credit card info. I was charged for almost forty more Kilometers than I used and I am still waiting to be reimbursed. Worst U-Haul experience I ever experienced.
Lorraine AThe 24/7 truck share did not work. The representative was not there and had the employee call them at home. Took over an hour to resolve the issue and then had us give our visa numbers out loud, in a store, to two strangers. Absolutely terrible. Not to mention the truck had a leak and our items got wet while moving!

Iryna NThe rep asked me to come and pick up the keys a day early and then weren't available for the return and charged me for 2 extra days. They also charged me for gas even though I returned the van with more gas than I left with. I filed this case with U-Haul customer service. Disappointed
