We got locked into the UHaul location while we were hooking up the trailer to our truck. They began calling us 30 minutes prior to our reservation to inform us they were closing soon to see if we were still even coming by. We got there 10 minutes before our reservation and took a bit of time to make sure we secured the trailer properly. The location closed at 6:00pm and we tried to leave and realized we needed a gate code at 6:07. We were back behind the gate and they closed and left without leaving us a code. We were also not the only ones that got locked in. I called the front desk of this location 6 times to no answer. Then I had to live chat with someone on the overall website who then gave me a number to call the scheduling department who then called this locations manager. After twenty minutes of being unable to reach them she called her direct supervisor who also tried to call the location manager. When she still remained unreachable the supervisor then began to call other employees of this location until someone answered the phone to provide us the gate code to leave. I was prepared to call the police, this was completely unprofessional and unacceptable and could have resulted in a serious health emergency due to it being 104 outside yesterday. I will never be recommending this location and plan to leave a bad review anywhere I am able to.Nathan S.
Get rid of the snotty incompetent associates working the front desk. What should have been a relatively simple process was transformed into a stressful nightmare unnecessarily. When people are moving its a stressful time...nobody wants to deal with rude sales associates who give the impression that they would rather have a root canal than provide service when usually time is of the essence. And we certainly don't need some big announcement that "your card won't even take 20 dollars" and then when shown the account balance suddenly my card is expired...(it expires the last day of this month) very bad experience but after investing all that time i felt locked in to seeing it through.Shannon L.

Location hard to find. Personnel not helpful whatsoever. Had to park the trailer by myself, no assisted me unhitching the trailer. Was charged an extra day for being 15 mins later.Daniel H.
I was dismayed to find one of the blankets I requested to have been cut to pieces. I was able to replace it but to be given one in a bag so I couldn't see that it was not usable was in poor taste. Also I requested a four wheel dolly and this location did not have them available, this was not noted and I assumed I would be able to use it to move... needless to say that was not cool. The lady wearing the gold chain with 1992 on it was so extremely impolite and lacked the knowledge which she subsidized with being rude. This behavior is outrageous and I'm not the person who fills out the questionnaires at all but I believe someone should pay attention to the manners and performance of this lady. This experience will drive me farther from Uhaul in general and if I need to rent it, I won't be doing it at this particular location.Goran V.

The truck was old, had a crescent wrench sticking out of the hood to begin with. The service tire light was on, the gas was not full when we picked it up: The truck outside was very dirty with bug/ dirt and bird poop on the windshield There were at least five other trucks available at the time- Why was I given the â€œbroken downâ€ one?Peter D.

Stop allowing people to use the app if the app doesn't work right. I could not get the picture to save regardless of how I did it. This lead to being charge for not checking the van in. Pictures looked great on the phone but the app wouldn't accept them. Also, if I make a reservation ASK ME FOR MY PROOF OF IDENTITY then and not when I am standing outside trying to pick up the vehicle I reserved several days ago. People don't like waiting around when they need to be working. I will most likely use another moving company next time because of all these issues.Robert M.

The truck was dirty, my reservation included the rental of a 2 wheel dolly and a 4 wheel dolly. Neither were provided and I had to take time to call and get it removed. While being able to do an online reservation and after hours pickup is nice, when there are issues there really is no way to resolve themTroy R.
The staff was friendly and professional. The building was convenient to get to and access to the unit was easy. Has to provide own lighting inside storage unit. But climate control protected a lot of things I had from the elements otherwise. I rented and returned truck that same day but after hours, doing so I had a website trouble that same day but an attendant met me outside ready to leave for the day and said i should send a message so she will fix the problem the following day which I did. Now, she charged me service fees, said I left the Gas almost an empty tank which by the way not true.. so, I asked her about those lies and she was given an attitude. At the end she cut off the phone as i was talking to her. It wasn't my first time rented UHual but i was in need of a truck that day that's why i got myself in this horrible location.. I have been renting Uhaul trucks since 2000â€¦ this was the first time I ran into such an inept staff and poor experience- first - the location I wanted did not have a truck- the agent asked me to go to another location - I did , that did not have a utility dolly- forced to take an appliance dolly at a higher price â€¦ staff not helpful and inexperienced - return location shown on my booking did not show on their screen, had to return at a different location . Renting the truck took 1 :15 min although I booked on line and stored , drivers info etcSATISH M.

I reserved a hand truck/dolly when I reserved the van which was three days before I was scheduled to pick up the rental. On the day I picked up the rental there was no hand truck! If I were not on portable oxygen and mildly physically disabled, it would not have mattered as much; But I am. there were in my opinion sufficient days for the provider to chase down a hand truck. I have used Uhaul rental services in the past and have always had positive experiences. In the future I will approach this relationship with anxiety and uncertainty because my disability and health impairments will not be going away, and I don't know certain that my needs will be met when I rent in the future.JEFFERY S.

Bad experience. While moving in, I was doing it myself and could not keep my eyes on everything all at once. I knew I was missing a cart with about four boxes and a headboard on it. I was exhausted sweaty tired and I had two hour drive home so I didn't give it another thought. 2 months later I go to move out and I have no headboard then I started thinking oh my gosh what else am I missing. Family heirlooms in one box which is heartbreaking everything from high-end shoes to kitchen items basically about over $1,000 worth of merchandise. I don't know if I was offered insurance or not but that's not the point. When it hit me that I was missing a lot of things upon unpacking at home I called the storage and the same woman who checked me in 2 months prior was so aggressive and defensive I couldn't get a word in edgewise and all she kept repeating was I offered you insurance and you didn't take it I remember you said that lol. Oh really you remember me saying that out of all your customers two and a half months ago? Moving on that's not even the point, the point is why was she so aggressive? All I was calling about to see is if they had video footage from that long ago. My things were stolen the day I moved in not once I moved in. She wouldn't talk about it she wouldn't help or listen. I ended up calling the owner still have not heard back. I'll never get my things back I'll never get my mother's things back that will mean nothing to anybody but me. I have no proof but my instinct is that there is some kind of racket going on there that when your back is turned your things are going to disappear. I've dealt with thieves before and the young woman who I dealt with that work there fit the description of one. Zero concern, very aggressive and so guilty. To make matters worse I scraped up the side of my Prius on there the back side of their building where they had rebars sticking out. It literally gouged my car. Perfect. Also there were several men standing out in the back loading propane tanks into one of the storages very sketchy. Okay that's about it. The place was clean on the inside but the outside was really sketchy and not really completely safe. One day I went there and the gate was broken wide open with nobody manning it. We're in a deep freeze right now in north Texas but next week I plan on going to the police department in filing a report. Nothing will come of it I'm sure but it needs to be on record. And just to know it says to please contact the storage facility to try to work something out before leaving this kind of feedback and I did with two phone calls and five texts to the owner still nothing.Eugenie D. | Overall Experience

They lady who assisted me at the front desk have poor customer service. The truck was dirty I had to wipe it down myself. The truck was in poor condition and the brakes need to be serviced. The truck we were given had a broken windshield and passenger door handle yet they did not show this on the form the sent me to sign off on. In addition although I had reserved online they did not have the dollie I reserved and for some reason they had to re-enter my entire reservation. I completed the on-line check-in including uploading my license. It has worked at other UHaul locations but not here - was told this location was a "dealer" so different. We had a great experience storing our things at Irving Storage. The facility was always clean. I felt comfortable that there weren't any bugs or anything that could harm our belongings. There were always carts to use and although there were busy days it never felt crowded. The staff is always very friendly. Terry seems to always be there with helpful information and is just all around a great guy. If we ever need storage in Irving again we would definitely go back.Andrea O. | Overall Experience

DO NOT RENT HERE, 3 days before my rent was due for a parking spot, they sent an e-mail raising my rent from $85 to $150. The night of my lease, my truck was broke into in gate secure parking and my tools and 2 dollies were stolen. They did NOTHING. 2 months later a truck broke the mirror off mine. I made a police report. Storage did NOTHING. They further intruded on my time to relocate my truck 2 times then were Rude.
