I wish they would have given us a break on some of the days once I rented it in N.C. I ended up in the CICU in N.C. hospital where I almost died so that's why it was delayed in getting to Texas. I was there from Monday (Martin Luther King Day) till the following Friday. I wasn't able to do anything for 6 days then my husband got there to load up and bring me and trailer home. He tried to explain to get s break but they wouldn't hear it. Some times things happen way beyond your control. In my case I was bleeding to death. Y'all need to take emergency hospital stays should be given some discount since was an act of God. Thank you. We will continue to us U-haul in the future.??Penney L.

I had reserved a uhaul the night before picking up. When I arrived at pick up store on wall street in Midland TX. The trailer was not there. The representative that I talked to was absolutely disrespectful to myself and the customer who had the trailer. He then called another uhaul supplier and said they had a trailer for me. When I arrived at that location to pickup trailer. They didn't have one either. So I had waisted my gas, my time trying to get a trailer that I had reserved. I ended up getting a trailer van, which was not what I agreed to pay for or what I wanted or told what I was getting. Got charged two times for a hitch!!! And now have been billed almost $200 for a horrible service!!!!Jessica R.

Front end out of alignment and power steering block going bad. Cargo box roof leaked like a sieve and got the majority of our furniture wet. Some has water stains and irreparable. I will never rent from uhaul again and would not recommend uhaul to anyone.Felix T.

I went to drop off the trailer at this location in their hours of operations, and no one was there. The doors were locked and no employee to help me return the trailer. I sat there in the parking lot for 30 minutes to see if someone was just late and nothing. Thus, I called the 1800 number and had them return my trailer. Later that day around 12:30- 1pm, I received a text from the owner of the location telling to drop the trailer in the parking lot. He opened at 9am.michael M.

Latching mechanism was rusty and hard to operate. It would roll up under rubber molding when opened and become stuck so that we could not close the door. It took two people to load and unload every time since one had to continually hold the door to keep this from happening. Very frustrating and difficultKay M.

I made my reservation on line for 10AM for this location however when I went to pick up the truck I could see from the street light that there were no trucks on the lot. I called the store while at the stop light to confirm I was at the correct locattion. He confirmed that this was indeed the place but he stated he did not have anything available until after 1pm. I turned around and went back home to get on the phone to see what went wrong. I placed a call to Cust Svc they informed me that the could not assist me on finding a truck I would have to call another number. So I contacted the scheduling department and was informed that there was a waiting list for all of S.A. and there wasnt much else I could do but wait. She wasnt the most pleasant person but she did assist me by letting me know that BB Cars should have something around 11:00 am and she could contact the store and have them contact me once the truck was returned. BB Cars did call me about 11:15 and get me into a truck. However my reservation guarantee was not met and I would like to be reimbursed according to the reservation guarantee policy.Le Anne W.
The attendant at the pick up location had no idea what he was doing and did not have the proper equipment so I could hook the trailer lights up to my 2008 Chevy Silverado. He told me I would need to drive to an auto parts store to pick up an adapter. This is not the level of customer service I expect from a professional moving company. The sales associate also did not read the reservation properly that I had completed online and had to call someone on the phone after he filled out the contract incorrectly. Not a good overall experience with U-Haul. Additionally, I received a quote for the same trailer rental from another U-Haul location that quoted $221 for the same one-way rental I paid $97 for by booking online. Why can't all of your stores offer one price for the same equipment..... That might be too freakin' simple! I'm not very likely to rent from U-Haul again... For sure not at the same pick up location.
