Most of the visual cues send customers to the wrong building for conducting Uhaul business. I and another customer had to wait in the office about 5 minutes to meet a representative. The trailer I received was functionally operational and, in fact, worked well. However, its interior had the smell of fertilizer/horse manure. Also, the interior needed a good sweeping before it was usable.Jay P.

Trailer I rented had a flat tire and a two tires with low pressure. Had to get two tires replaced delaying the start of my trip by a couple of hours. On plus side road side assistance was at my home and replaced tires within 90 minutes.Robert Y.

My contract told me to drop off here. On arrival there they told me that this was the wrong drop off location. I showed several people my contract told me to drop off there. 5 YEAR CUSTOMER. Does Imperial Storage Solutions harass their customers when they're unable to pay? You decide. ----- If you fall on hard times because your wife gets diagnosed with aggressive leukemia that keeps you out of work 12 weeks in a row, this is how David Fisher (see his own words in the link below) could behave if you get upset that he is towing your vehicle for a second time (less than 15 days late on the bill and offered a partial payment). A bit of background - Gets a bit long. David and I (finally) spoke while the vehicle was still impounded in January (bill was 20 days late and had been due near Christmas). I explained my family's situation (I had previously left multiple messages with his staff asking for him to reach out, his after hours answering service had even notated the account regarding the cancer - never got a call, email, or text). Believe me when I say I could not physically stop by - business hours@christmas/new years, taking care of my child/household, and my wife's treatment schedule made it practically impossible. Literally life and death trips involving emergency blood transfusions happening at nearly the last minute. Very real, very scary. Anyway, David explained my information was incorrect in their system (email was wrong and my previous number being disconnected for non-payment - I TRIED SEVERAL times to give the new number over, and over in the messages I left with staff, on his voicemail, and after hours answering service prior to the impound). I believed the whole thing to be a misunderstanding (people get busy around Christmas, and things get overlooked), and that there was an assurance given that he could work with me if I brought my vehicle back. I pawned a lot of my things (saws, drills, and other tools I used to rebuild the room my wife would be in while at home - didn't need them after completing the work on our older house to make sure there was no mold) to get our vehicle out of impound. It took weeks to get the money together, and cost over $2,000. The whole fiasco occurred in the middle of an extended hospital admission for back to back chemo treatments. It was so awful. That in mind, anyone in their right mind wouldn't bring their vehicle back to a place that impounded it without an understanding of what happened, and what could happen going forward, especially during a prolonged illness. This illness has gone on 7 months (3 months at the time), getting to work has been nearly impossible, missing lots of days, and money. I knew the likelihood of being late on another payment was a reality. I communicated as much before moving back in. I was late again mid-April, in the middle of another prolonged chemo treatment in which my paychecks were severely affected. I communicated I was going to have an issue paying, communicated prior to the due date. I offered to provide documentation from the oncologist explaining the severity of our situation. I never wanted anything for free, I just wanted to pay when I could, and not have my vehicle towed. I'm having to pay lots of bills late, and all my creditors have been very understanding - even other corporate storage facilities. Look, I am for veteran owned business, especially small ones. I wanted to choose Imperial Storage Solutions over a corporate solution, specifically because a small business can make concessions a big, faceless business won't. I even went back, believing we were there on that understanding. Is he legally within his rights to impound my vehicle? Yes. I advise if you're going to store here, stay healthy. Additionally, this man did not buy his .com addresses for his LLC.
