The only downside of this location is that it is a bit difficult to enter/exit given the very busy roads and frequent need to left-turn across traffic. It would be helpful if it were possible to return the cars to the right/southbound side of Van Dam St. Separately, our original reservation (at a different location) was not fulfilled and we had to switch our reservation to Imbaba Station at the last minute. While the switch was a major inconvenience and disrupted/delayed our moving plans, this was of no fault of the Imbaba Station employees and they provided excellent service.SARAH ELIZABETH M.

I reserved a van and there was NO van at the location. I had to choice but to take a small cube truck (9' height) and pay the higher mileage rate. Other than that, the rental was fineJerrold S.

The website was maintenance When I picked my truck. So I had to wait like an hour to get my vehicle, which almost made me not be able to move to the new apartment on time. The guy in the front desk was friendly and nice, although he could not fix the website problem.ZHUJUN L.

I felt really nervous getting my truck from a gas station and not a branded location. The attendant got an error when checking me out and insisted that I was the reason for it until he got it figured it out. Because he was also responsible for maintaining the gas station, he couldn't show me the truck or tell me anything about it. If I had any other option, I'd likely avoid repeating this experience, though everything fortunately ended up working out for me.Michael D.

There was barely any gas in the van when I picked it up, and the gas tank was blinking empty. I filled it up as the Uhaul representative also the gas station cashier/representative, and I paid him directly for the gas as I got the sign to pay the cashier inside. I think it is very unprofessional that he has access to gas but didn't fill up the tank, and it delayed my pickup as I had to wait to fill up gas first. And you don't get any money back when you refill it more than you found it. Uhaul should make sure that it's full so there aren't any issues as I felt that this was unfair and unprofessional.Nana A.
Hard to find as it is in a gas station. Better signage needed. Also construction made it necessary for us to get the workers to move equipement before we could get the truck out. That should have been addressed before we came.Rita A.

U-haul needs to lower the daily insurance price. $25 a day is outrageous! $25 plus tax a day, for 30 days, is nearly $900. $900 a month for insurance? That's ridiculous! Who pays $900 a month for insurance? That's like paying another rent for a residence! They really need to lower their insurance price because people are going to start doing the math and realizing that they are paying way too much for vehicle that's not even theirs! Nobody would ever pay that much money on their own car insurance, they shouldn't have to pay that much for a U-Haul rental, especially when you as a business are doing far better financially than the majority of the people in this world, you can afford it! You definitely afford lowering the prices, it's not going to hurt you that much financially!FRANCESCOD S.

He falsified the receipt and told the bill was created by uhaul and that its my right to call customer service and demand my money back. The alignment on the rental truck was trash making driving this vehicle dangerous. It's a shame that you allow this hot piece of garbage to take the road. Anything for a buck, right? I will not recommend anyone to rent from this company. Picking up the truck was easy and the "clerk" was accommodating and easy to deal with.Michael W.

Horrible experience, I had the same issue twice in 48 hours. I reserved a 10 inch both days and I go to pick it up and there is no truck available. Meanwhile my movers are waiting and im paying for them!! Horrible. Never using uhaul again so unreliable. I called their 1800 number nobody would pick up to help. I reserved a new truck at a nearby location, i go there and no truck again. What kind of dinosaur tech are you using you cant even track your own inventory. Never againLouiza L.

The guy from Adamba station in Long Island city charge me for 3 periods of renting because he was too lazy to take my returning on time at the morning . He charge me for another day instead for 2 days I drop off keys at 7:50 am 10 min before ma deadline and he did return on 6:10 Pm same day . My rent was from Saturday morning from 8 am for 2 days. Make it clear that 24/7 self-service is NOT available. I had a reservation for early in the morning but when I tried to get the vehicle, the truck was not ready for mobile pick-up was told when I arrived that I needed to wait a couple of hours for the "U-Haul guy" to come in.Brian J.

Was told upon arrival for my 7pm reservation that they were closed. Why was I allowed to make a reservation an hour past the losing time?! This is after having to switch pickup locations due to lack of availability and not being compensated for the extra mileage.CATALINA P.
I left the truck with the same amount of gas when I took it as I pumped more gas right before returning it. I had the insurance so I don't understand why they were charging me $150 as I had no fault at all in the incident. I was charged other fees when I got the truck in the morning and others later on the day that are pending in my card that I also do not understand. I also don't understand the â€œother chargesâ€ as I paid separately at woodside as well. I do not agree with the $150 and other charges (including different transactions and gas). I mentioned to the uhaul representante in the morning that the fuel was in that level and I have a picture of it. I also don't have to pay $150. It should be covered by the insurance that was paid. When I returned the truck I asked the other uhaul representative and he mentioned that the fuel was ok. The truck was parked by the gas station in front of the gas pump. Of course I'd put more if necessary. But the level of fuel was showing the same to me!EDUARDOFERREIRA P.
There were uhaul rentals closer to my house but I chose this one based on the great reviews over the closer one. They system was down when I got there but the customer service was amazing. When I eventually move out of the area I will very likely use the same service.David R.
