Bonnadette GOnce i was done checking in, received keys for truck was told to use app and check gas, milage etc. Walked outside to do so opened back of truck and no furniture pads / blankets were in truck so I went back inside & told the rep I need blankets I rented. He said oh yeah i forget and pointed to a corner with bags of blankets. I asked do I just grab one? He said yes. I grabbed a bag and put it into truck and went on with my move. Upon return I refilled more than enough gas folded blankets and left them in truck. I got an invoice from uhaul about my final charge for rental of $55.29. Perfect. Then 2 days after I got a charge on my checking account from the uhaul location Good Vibes of $28.00. No email receipt saying why. No notification as to why they charged me 28 bucks. Called Good Vibes since they are the name showing on the charge from my account. They say they have NO IDEA. CALL UHAUL. called uhaul. They don't see a $28 charge. Just the rental of $55.29. Told uhaul well there's another charge to my account from your authorized retailer! With no notification as to why!! They were also USELESS. completely unhelpful. Said too bad. Call your bank! Now I had to report fraud. Close account. Have no access to my money. All because this location Good Vibes fraudulently charged my account!!! I didn't even pick this location for my rental!! Uhaul changed it after i made my reservation to this good vibes studio!! Completely a scam!! And I've read other similar stories about this Good Vibes Studio doing this! STEALING PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY. WELL THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH IT. 28 bucks may not seen like alot but its the point now. I've Aldo contacted police and filed report. Good vibes studio is a scam! Criminals.

Dwayne JPlace was locked up even when open, had to call the number on the door for service, the vehicle rented was dirty, check engine light was on, and had engine trouble, it spuddered and when coming to an intersection slowing down it would kick hard as it downshifts. The vehicle did die after using it for a little over an hour, and I drove it back to the location and returned it. The guy was really nice about it but I didn’t trust he would get the truck fixed.

Larry CI had made a reservation 2 weeks prior to yesterday at another location. When I went to pick up truck it was not there. Customer service sent me to another location where I had to get a bigger truck because the size I wanted was not available. Although I had to pay more for the bigger size and pay more for the miles further that the store was, I did successfully complete my move.

Sukhvinder PThe question "was the personnel helpful" is more appropriate to the pickup location than to the drop off location and I recommend you more it here. Our experience of late has been mixed. Uhaul has adopted a business model of late in which pickup is at a "franchise" location more embedded into communities. While this might introduce more rentals into the communities, it have resulted in our preferred rental (a 5x8 trailer) never being available nearby and our having to drive 20 miles to a neighboring town. The location in Livermore seems to be one of the older regional full service location that redistribute old to the franchise locations. A second aspect is the franchise owner being knowledgeable about the Uhaul trailers. While this location at Pavilion Pkwy in Tracy, CA was very good, others have been totally clueless.
