The rental charge was not clearly explained to me as well as some hidden costs. There were lots of surprises. Also, the inside of the unit was dirty and the seal on the dolly alreasy broken but we were charged for it. Also, our size of uhaul was overbookked so even tho he gave us a bigger one for same price, it really was not bc it used more gas. I'll never recommend uhaul to anyone.VANESSA R.

Seatbelts would lock inside truck. Couldn't even get it around. And there was a sticky underside to the door handle. The air would turn off and come back on. This wasn't the original location we had wanted and had to pay extra for milage to get the vehicle from this location. Uhaul changed our location last minute.KEVIN N.

It was our first time towing or using a U haul. We bought a tow package and ball. We didn't have the pin or wiring harness. The gentlemen suggested we go buy a pin a come back, he stayed after closing. When my wife returned he told her she needed a wiring harness so she had to go back and get that too. It was our responsibility to bring all of the equipment but it would have been nice if uhaul sold equipment there or if the gentlemen could have checked what my wife had so she only had to make one trip to the store. We do appreciate he stayed late to help as I was already out of townAlberto R.

The only process seemed easy at 1st but was more difficult then I originally thought. Should let customers know prior to showing up what documents the may need to provide if for some reason there license is not accepted. I requested a dolly and the truck I rented did not have a dolly which made my move more difficult and longer plus I was charged for the dolly I did not receiveLawrence J.

The U-Haul station on Gateway East and Hunter in El Paso, TX was very friendly and very helpful. I have already started to tell my friends about their service and recommend them highly. My reservation was originally for 2days I got there and he said I had no reservation so he set up a new reservation for me and brought a truck out for me then he mentions I have to bring it back in 6hours and I said no I said I needed it for 2days he said he would fix it and let me leave I got an email saying I had to return the following day but I still needed it so I called the next day and I got charged for an extra two days which was 90.00 which I had told the lady that my reservation was supposed to be for 2 days she didn't seem to care so I paid for it cause I needed the truck still then when I went to return it the app was trying to charge 299.00! Who cut included gas but I returned the truck with the same amount of gas I was given with! So I don't understand why I was charged so much when they had messed up by original order! This was completely unacceptable!!! I think I deserve a some sort of discount or refund it's not my fault that they messed my reservation up and I have the confirmation from my original reservation!!! That was for 2days! I didn't like the fact that when I got there I had to buy a light connection I was told it was an adaptor a 7 pin to a flat 4 to help with my turn signals. Your website or your employees should specify those details before going to the location. I was going from El Paso, TX to Kileen, TX. When I got to my destination to drop off the equipment the guy put on the sytem to drop it off in El Paso,TX. You need more than one guy at that location he took forever to help me. Due to my experience I would not go backMELANIE G.
First, the attendant was late, my pickup time was 9AM, he arrived about 9:20. Second, he said the fuel tank was full, (you have to take his word for it), I drove 23 miles, and when I topped the tank off, it took 8.3+ gallons! That works out to 2.77 MPG! (On a 17' truck) I have driven trucks for years, and I know 2.77 mpg is NOT correct. I showed him the receipt for the fuel, and he just shrugged his shoulders...I was not happy with this rental.BYRON L.
it is not an official Uhaul location. I had to get my rental online and on the day off I wanted 1 hour of my rental because they had to review my documents online. obviously, that wasted hour was charged, even though I was not able to get my rental due to something that was not my mistake.Gabriel V.

Our original location was a location in El Paso near William Beaumont Hospital. Our pickup time was 9:00 am. At 8:45 am that same morning our location was changed to a location by the El Paso airport. When we arrived there (at 9 am when they opened), no one was there and the nearby shops said that the gentleman who runs that particular uhaul installation â€œlikes to make his own hoursâ€. After calling corporate and not getting an answer about what was happening for thirty minutes, we were finally relocated to the hunter location to pick up our uhaul truck. Uhaul incredibly inconvenienced my husband and I. My husband is active duty in the military and not receiving the truck on time caused us to miss our appointment with the military to pack our goods. I believe that our reservation should've been honored with the correct location and time. I would like compensation for the time we wasted and how much we were inconvenienced. Gracias.Francois F.

Location did not call me to inform me my pickup time would be later due to the customer that had my truck was running late. The truck was not clean inside the cab. This location failed to maintain the rental truck I had to call roadside assistance to my house because the rear tires were extremely bald and would have caused an accident during my move from Texas to Georgia.JUSTIN C.

Don't charge a customer $100 deposit something that's only going to come out to 40 something dollars. I was crying in the damn Lobby because I only had $80. Thank God my friend could lend me 20. Next time I won't rent through the website or the 1-800 number I'll go straight to the dealer. That made this a bad experience this time. Other than that the experience was great.Juillermina C.
