Answer your phone when people are calling about false charges . Don’t try to give out false charges . Have real drop off centers with ACTUAL u-haul workers . Have more cooperative employees .

Truck was parked somewhere outside of the U-Haul yard. It looked like a repair shop in an industrial area. Its surroundings were full of garbage/junk. At 7am in the morning, the area did not look safe.

Andrea CloakIt wasn’t explained to me that this was a self service location. Everything done on the app. The actual business was never open. I explained to the rep on the phone when I made the reservation that I needed an appliance dolly with a strap because I was moving a refrigerator. To my surprise when I opened the truck there was only a regular dolly. The kind you would use to move boxes. I had to make it work because there wasn’t anyone there to fix the issue. It made it a lot more difficult. For that reason I probably wouldn’t go back because there’s no way to rectify any issues on the spot, or with anyone onsite.

I even called the corporate office and they too hung up on me when I asked them to hold on while I found my debit card. I was originally scheduled for a box truck then cancelled that and started getting quotes for trailers I was scheduled for the hitch hook up in corona so I thought when the date of the schedule came I called U-Haul and asked what the address to my appointment was they said no appointments were made. When I know I made one. I then called corporate and spoke to Daryl he explained to me that none of your sites had all the parts in stock. At that time we scheduled 2 different appointments at 2 different locations to get my car done and ready for the trailer pick up. Daryl asked for a deposit I told him to hold on while I looked for my debit card he hung up and never called me back. I called again and tried to make another appointment because the call center told me that Daryl didn't actually schedule me the appointment I figured it was due to me not making a deposit. This time a gentleman was helping me and scheduled me for a truck pick up he too asked for my debit card information I gave him everything all my debit information and he told me that the phone was breaking up and he too hung up on me. Never called me back. Finally I was able to make an appointment for a truck instead of a trailer since it had already became such a big hassle I figured I'd just transport my vehicle. When I got to hook and book they told me they couldn't use my passport as verification I then had to ask my father to use his driver's license when I came back with my father they said they had to make a whole new appointment which caused us more of a delay then to my knowledge I thought I was to pay when I got to my Destination not where I was picking up the truck. Hook and books final cost was 4,066.36 online I was quoted different. Way less. I had to go to the bank and put money in the bank because there wasn't enough in my account went back to hook and book and when they tried to run my card it was denied I then had to go back to my bank and pull out all the money and return to the location. I paid cash in full. Then when I went to check the truck they had hooked up the wrong truck which caused me another delay my pick up time was 10am it was now 2pm getting the right truck and trailer hooked up. Finally I was able to drive off after 230 pm U-Haul this is the worst experience I have ever had I would like a full refund or some compensation for all the inconveniences I've had to go through.
