The original location where i rented my truck was absolutely amazing! The lady at the front desk was very helpful etc but my overall experience with Uhaul was a nightmare. So many things happened from me calling roadside assistance for a new key and them towing my truck AFTER i paid for that day and then saying they continued to attempt to charge me and was unsuccessful and thats why the truck was towed which was very incorrect. The representative even verified in my notes why i called in and what exactly happened. No one could tell me where the truck was until weeks later and then tried to charge me over $1k after finally finding my truck with all of my belongings on it as well as telling me i could no longer rent from uhaul as if i did something wrong. Smh my items were damaged after i received my truck things were broken and it just goes down in the books as another completed rental smh . This was by far the worst moving experience i have ever endured!!!!

Customer service was terrible. Things I was promised at the Hampton location were not upheld at this location. The truck was dirty when I picked it up and the key drop box was broken so I had no idea where to place the key upon my return... which was supposed to (based on posted store hours) be open but no one was inside.

Truck was clean...best we can say. Ramp was wrong size.. unusable. Location was completely inconvenient for where we rented the truck from. Until the day of we were under the impression we would get the truck at Ocean Storage on 17. The morning of we found out it was over on Warwick. you even have another location by our second storage.. also on 17 … that had the trucks parked there. Instead you sent us elsewhere. Adding to our trip. To a bad neighborhood. To a run down parking lot that had craters instead of pot holes. We could have easily picked up the truck at either place on 17 since we had to go to both. You also sent us to a place to pick up our truck at the scheduled time of 5 pm.. the same time that they close! we were lucky that I checked online to see what time they closed. I think our future rentals will go to Penske... I don't need to play guessing games about where and if Ill be able to get a truck. I scheduled it at the place I use because I know its safe, and well maintained. As well as open later! As for referral..never would I send anyone to that neighborhood...especially later in the evening. With so many other locations why did you send us all the way over there? I also happen to be a nonprofit. We left paperwork with the office. They said they could take the taxes off since we are exempt. They said they would have to do that Monday after we returned the truck. So far Im seeing a fee for 242.33.. that was the total with tax. I also see a second charge for 8.51.. what is that for?? I just saw this now. I guess the fun isn't over.. ..

The young lad y who set up our contract was outstanding. She was competent, polite, and professional. The truck suited our needs perfectly. My son also uses this location. We are very pleased with our experience and intend to use them again when we need them. The return process using the online app was thorough and easy to use. Thank you!

Dropoff location switched when intitial dropoff location couldn't receive me. Had to dropoff at cloased location and leave vehicle, unload and disconnect trailer myself using 24/7 dropoff. It was complicated, but not this location's fault.

They called me if I can rent a truck on Friday instead of Saturday. I said I will rent the truck 5pm and I will call my friend to pick up the truck. One hour later when I called him, they gave the truck to someone else. I was upset and asked why you did not call me before you gave it to someone. They even asked me if I wanted to cancel Saturday reservation. I was very mad that we are moving on Saturday and why they asked me if I wanted to cancel. I understand they want to make more money. They should have called me before they gave the truck to someone.

Customer service was great but, the air conditioner was broken and I had to sit there for nearly two hours, WITH a reservation , because uhauls system was down according to the representative.

The service I received from the person at the location was excellent. There was a problem with communication between U-haul and the pickup location. He wasn’t notified until the morning of and then he didn’t have the correct trailer. Fortunately he had a larger trailer my truck was capable of pulling. He was able to get me the same price as the smaller. My problems with uhaul have never been with the individual dealers. My issues have always stemmed from uhaul corporate. The independent dealers have bent over backwards to remedy the issues corporate has caused.

The owner was nice and understanding about some issues. I don't blame him for them, but Uhaul corporate for a below average experience on their end. I reserved for 5pm, and it wasn't there. Apparently, instead of Uhaul building in any sort of buffer time wise, the truck was also to have been dropped at that location at 5. I ended up having to use an older reserve truck because of it.

The paper work didn’t match up. It said I had 3/4 gas. I had way less. When I return the vehicle, usually the money is adjusted immediately. Not this time. They didn’t check truck back in when I returned it. Not bad service, just not as great as I was use to.

This is the worst total U-Haul experience. The location is not clean, lighting is the worst, organization of equipment is uninviting and does U-Haul a disservice. The attendant personality is disingenuous and unhelpful. In my opinion the attendant has an attitude. We will never use this U-Haul location in any way. Recommend closing this location or it needs a total make over to include employees.

The check-in process on the website is very tedious. The site went down a couple of times and I had to start over. I persisted because I wanted to make sure it was complete. You should also be able to retrieve the photos from your gallery, but it would only allow me to go back and take another photo. We had to go back unlock the truck and retake the photos of the mileage, etc. That was a pain! The system could really use some improvements.

Pickup was 30 miles from my requested location, causing me to waste over an hour and purchase more fuel I reserved a 10' truck but was provided a 15' truck for significantly more money The 15' truck used 20% more fuel and the tolls were double what a 10' would have been because the GVW is 14500 vs 8600
