I dropped off the truck after hours so, understandably, there was no one to check in with. However, the location had no instructions as to where to park the truck and there were trucks parked all over in three different locations. There were no instructions other than a key drop box. There was no internet connection so I was unable to use the link from my text to complete the drop off information.DANIEL Z.

I had originally reserved a truck at a much closer & convenient location to me. UHaul dropped the ball and never scheduled my truck nor contacted me about my reservation. No truck available when I went to pick it up. I was then sent 18 miles out of my way to this location. This location was fine, but UHaul corporate is a joke and I won't be using them again.DAVID B.

The location and local support were great. However, the Uhaul website and app were so bad it is unlikely I will ever rent from Uhaul again. I had over 2 hours invested in ordering and then returning the vehicle. The website froze multiple times and ended up creating double order, which then took multiple attempts to cancel. Upon returning the vehicle the app would not take the picture of the dash for mileage and fuel. The long return time made my wife late for work and caused a big argument. Finally, after multiple attempts including restarting my iPhone 12, I had to go into the location and have them return my vehicle. I had a similar experience at my last rental, that I then had to fight to get late fees reversed. If you are going to an automated system, you better get one that is reliable.RICK P.
The entire process was very simple. My only comment is that I find the $ .79 per to be a little excessive. I would still and plan on renting from U Haul again.RICHARD L.

The trailer was missing the light wiring, so I had to buy the flat four wire extension from an auto parts store. My vehicle is equipped to connect to the wire connector. This has not happened in the past.RONALD P.
Had to make a last minute switch to our rental date because our pick up location was moved to a location 45 minutes away. Lots of scrambling and frustration but it worked out in the end.ROBERT H.

Loved meeting Bubba and Shadow. The vehicle we rented was clean and in good repair. There was even the opportunity to add a dolly and furniture pads for moving. So easy to rent online and upload all the information needed by UHaul before picking up the vehicle the next morning.Joyce C.

I was charged for an extra day, also the manager Angela at the two Notch location said if i paid cash she would require $100.00 cash deposit which would be returned upon my arrival at the Hilton Head location. Upon arriving Bubba said he did not deal with cash and knew nothing about it and would not inquire about any of the discrepancies for me yet not dealing with cash he gladly accepted $194. Cash payment which i disagreed with. I only had the truck two extra days and returned the dolly only one day late. It was returned yesterday. Bubba said my $100.00 deposit would be returned by check. I am very dissatisfied and have not had an experience this bad with uhaul ever. I would like to request my deposit back and a refund for the extra day i was charged returned.Melanie B.

Actually, the second time I have used this location and have been completely satisfied with the service Bubba provides as well as the condition of the vehicles that I have used. The person in the rental office decided to rant to us about his issues with a previous customer. Not professional at all. Too much personal information that had nothing to do with me or renting a truck. The equipment had damage that I had him come out and label. I rented 2 dozen furniture blankets, and got 11. I had my preferred location a couple of Miles from the apartment. On my way to pick up the truck I received a call saying that they were out of trucks. I had to go to another location and the truck was 26' instead of 20. Huge truck and too far from my apartment. Besides that, everything was fineLIMARIE R.

Be sure cabin is cleaned and even disinfected. Ours had animal hair on seats and floor. I cleaned it out, windows and cleaned the vinyl and disinfected it.MICHAEL H.

Bubba runs a top notch UHaul location. Had a great experience while renting a box truck for local moving on Hilton Head. The reservation online was a breeze. Bubba called the day before to confirm, very friendly and professional. Pick up was less than 5 minutes. Drop off, two minutes. Very pleased with how smooth the process was and just adored Bubba's sidekick Shadow, his furry companion who greeted me at the door. Highly recommend this location.MELINDA K.

Clone the lady who rented me the truck, she was terrific. She was friendly and helpful on the phone, cleaned out the truck van when I thought it looked clean already and was concerned I had a good rental when I returned it. She was terrific.Robert C.

Lots of issues in the office. The person there couldn't get any of the six customers the help they needed. We all stood there for over an hour and just chatted while she called people to try to get the computer to work. She was very nice but it was extremely inconvenient for the day I had planned.Kristen E.
The lady at the desk checking everyone in and out was multitasking like crazy. She was so sweet and efficient and tried to get everyone taken care of as quickly as she could. There was a line and yet she still managed. She was amazing and went above and beyond. I will definitely rent from this U-Haul again Thank you!!!Eric H.

Do something about check in. It took over an hour to get the combo to the lock to the rental truck. Checking in is NOT user friendly and was a first class pain in the butt. Bubba was great except I couldn't find his office to leave the lock soi put it on the fence, sorry Bubba.Donna K.

Interior of truck was dirty and gas level was not up to the level on the contract. I had reserved 4 dozen pads. They only had 2 doz. when I complained about all of this the owner just told me to note the problems in the equipment check link. No help. No apologies.RICHARD W.

The only good thing about this experience was the gentleman who gave me the uhaul. This was the worse moving experience I have ever had. Being that I'm in the military and having to move my family across states, it is already stressful. Add the face that uhaul decided to move the pick up locate from 4 minutes from my house to over an hour without any notice made it even more stressful. Add the fact they confirmed my reservation 2 days prior I was very displeased with the results. I will never use uhaul again and will warn others about using them. I'm very easy going and normally don't leave comments. But I wanted to put my experience down. Hopefully I can speak with someone better than the customer service rep I had basically telling me this is how the company works.JONATHON D.
I had a very good experience,and Shadow, the U-Haul mascot at this location was terrific, friendly and so well behaved. I do have a recommendation. I would like to see the taller and more sturdy dolly or lift that would be better for taller and heavier furniture. I would also charge a larger,refundable fee for the lift in case someone had the notion to not return it.The smaller dolly was not very helpful.KAREN F.
