Appt person ,set truck for an hour away in vancouver, when I reserved it in Longview wa. Had to drive a round trip for hour both ways, just to get truck

the staff was not sufficiently trained. Did not correctly explain that unit had to be returned to same location to avoid additional cost. In fact, I was told it could be returned at a different UHaul location at no additional cost. This cost me an hour of my time.

They tried saying the truck had more gas in it than it really did. Manager was micromanaging his employee.

We got the UHaul truck stuck in our yard which resulted in us being late for our drop off time. So many things happened that day that UHaul made so so easy for us, we purchased the insurance (ALWAYS. Because you never know), the insurance covered the tow truck to come pull us out of the mud 100%! Nothing was out of our pocket! We called customer service worried they were going to charge us another day because we were late for drop-off, they waved the extra day fee because it was out of our control. Upon arriving at this location for drop-off they asked us if we were ok, if everything with the tow truck was easy, and if everything was handled hassle free for us. Never made us feel like we were "in trouble" for being late, thy were nothing but kind to us from pick up until drop off. I will never use any other company because of this experience.

Inspect the equipment before you let someone leave the lot so you don't get stranded for 3 hours waiting for the repair truck to show up...

Make certain that their computer links to UHaul all work as needed. Spent an extra 30 minutes [or thereabouts] getting checked in due to computer issues.

Would like to have a trailer crank on the trailer. I think it is very unsafe to left the trailer up and put it on the hitch. I hurt my back doing this.

The location was easy to get in and out of. The truck was clean and ready to go. My only issue is that there are 3 Uhaul locations less than 5 miles from my home, but this Uhaul location was 12 miles from my home. Even though they were all within the same zip code, it would have been better if I could have picked up a Uhaul much closer to my home.

My husband, although still able to drive, was unable to help in connecting to our vehicle. The attendant was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable in attaching the U Haul, and the lights. Very helpful young man, and yes, and we appreciate having a U Haul dealership just a few miles away. We would recommend it very highly.

The store I rented from had the equipment and was set up for early rental I picked the truck up at 0430 the problem was no place to do a pre trip at that time I had requested the truck be full so I didn’t have to stop for fuel until I was finished I was told it would be done It was not The truck condition was sub standard No interior lights in cab and box Head lights were out of adjsment Among outher things The vehicle was adiquit for the job If I was to rent from uhaul again I will use another store But it is highly unlikely I will use your company again

My complaint is with the customer service I received when I called the Uhaul 800# to get info on the closest drop off location for the box trailer I rented. After a long day of loading and unloading very heavy outdoor potted plants, etc. in cold winter weather, I called seeking info on the closest drop off location and was given the wrong information. This resulted in my having to tow the trailer 60+ miles back to the county I picked it up in. It created an additional problem that I had attempted to avoid when I made the original reservation.

Not to impressed with the cost of renting a truck these days. I drove it from exit 68(back roads to Winlock Washington then back to exit 71 to unload and then back to 68. I had it for a total of 4.45 hours and it cost me 100.00. I will be looking at other options in the future.

I will continue to use this location for my u haul needs and will continue to highly recommend it to all my friends. Customer service here is EXCELLENT and I love the equipment. Van was easy to use and great gas mileage, very clean too. I have rented many uhauls, but this experience was by far the best!

When I first called to rent a truck, the lady said she was too busy and to go on U-haul.com and "do it myself"! After a couple of tries ( I'm not a computer whiz) I finally gave up & called again. That time a nice man answered & made my reservation in less than 5 minutes. Everything went well after that.

Don't charge two rental periods for the same day. The rental is supposed to be for 24 hours, yet I was charged for 48 hours when I only had the truck from 1200 to 2015 on Tuesday August 1. Overcharging is never a good business plan since it means a loss of business from people talking and telling friends to go somewhere they will not be charged for 2 days when they only used the truck for less then one.

I stopped there for directions for my drop off place and the attendant was very nice and helpful. He ended up receiving the vehicle there. Super nice person.

The person who helped us when we picked up the UHaul went above and beyond to help us. He made sure our safety was taken care of in regards to the lights functioning on the car trailer. He even tested the lights and called us afterward to let us know who we could call during our trip if there were any problems. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he was truly awesome.

Above all, U-Haul was there when Budget was not. They cancelled a reservation and conveniently called us at 4:00 pm to notify us the truck just wouldn't be there in the morning. A 26-footer. No reason. Just no trucks left anywhere. We were in Chehalis at 6:00 am the next morning getting our reserved last minute U-Haul truck. What I now proudly say is yay, U-Haul!

I had to wait 45 minutes for a U Haul computer system failure, making me late for my appointment. I had to argue and justify my 50 dollar U Haul guarantee for being on time. With great reluctance, Desire said she would refund my 50 dollars, but lied, as the refund/guarantee never occurred. Bad business!!!!

Was told initially on the phone when I contacted U-Haul's (800) number to reserve my truck - I had 143 plus another 30 miles before I would be charged for mileage. When I arrived to ick up the truck I was told it would be actually told it would be 130 miles, plus an extra 20.
