I had booked a furniture dolly, but it wasn't available so had to take something else. I dont known what is it called. The moving became very difficult, even though it was a short distance. Had they informed me that I had to return the vehicle with fuel topped up I would have stopped by a cheaper gas station, I learnt about refuelling at the time of drop off.Sachin M.

It's not the location that was the problem, it's Uhaul. I made a reservation a month ago and booked the truck at a location close to my house, so I wouldn't have to go through this hassle of picking up the equipment from out of town. But Uhaul being them typical self, I was told the truck wasn't in the right condition to rent and I would have to drive 55km to pick up the truck from another location. After going through that hassle at the drop off time I realized that Uhaul had also changed the drop off location to another one which was 40km from the site I had selected online I called the customer service and talk to a few somewhat challenged people that lacked basic logic and reasoning and told me that I didn't have a choice but to drop it off at the new location otherwise it wouldn't be considered returned. Now I had to drive another 40km and sure enough had to fuel up again which they won't give you credit for. This service is the face of the word Incompetence. I'm surprised to see them still in businessHassan T.

Problem was I was not notified of a "drop box" and the clerk at the drop off center was looking in his computer for a drop off reservation, which resulted in a pretty hot confrontation between and my grandson. After 15-20 minutes he mentioned something about dropping the keys in the box.Lois V.

When I picked up the van, the gentleman who served me, was very pleasant and friendly. He was truly a joy to deal with. When I returned the van, a different man was there. He was friendly as well. If I hear of anyone requiring a U-haul, I would definitely recommend The Southfork location.Brenda S.
Truck is FILTHY. Bugs and dirt all over the outside, food and dirt inside, can barely see through the glass because of the haze on the inside of the windshield and the bugs crusted to the outside. Absolutely Horrible. The online check-in process is terrible. I had to call in to the call center with a 20 minute wait for an agent to adjust the milage and fuel levels, and then it was not done, so I had to go back to the pump and put more fuel in than I used because some other chump lied, otherwise I was going to be charged $30 for $10 worth of gas.Chris P.

Remove this location from the U-Haul organization. The personnel were VERY difficult and did NOT want to take the return. I would assume by me dropping off the vehicle and trailer there they would be entitled to some compensation. Do NOT pay them. For some reason there is a charge from that location on my CC and I expect it to be reversed !!! What a shame that the U-Haul experience was wonderful until the last moment !!!!Guy P.

Make sure you have the keys in the lock box on time. Opened the lock box to find it empty. Thankfully the employee with the keys noticed and came out to give them to me. There was also a cigarette butt in the cup holder.Jenna G.

Truck was extremely dirty and smelled like cigarettes, there was no windshield washer fluid and the windshield was full of bug guts. When we got there they charged us an extra $100 and didn't have a proper reason as to why. They also charged me an extra for gas despite the fact that I filled it higher than the paper stated it needed to be at.SHANTELDONNA R.
Truck actually had mud on the floor in the cab from someone before I picked it up. Also found used masks on the passenger side when I opened the door. Would recommend having cab cleaned or inspected before turning over to next client. Especially coming out of a pandemic.James Y.
There was no dolly in the vehicle that I paid for and the person before dropping it off was 30 min late so I didn't get the uhaul until 530 and I was bumped from my original 1pm requested time. So really late being bumped down like my time doesn't matter and no dolly.Chasity B.

There was only one employee at a very busy convince store location, which meant I waited a long time for a problem to be resolved while the poor employee had to continue stopping to help other customers. The customer service was very good, and I was happy with the U-Haul and experience in the end, it was just frustrating to see both the morning and evening employee being worked so hard with no help.Shannon P.

The Rep charged us a $20.00 fee for his services. I was in the process of taking the pictures of mileage and sending in on my Smart Phone when he came and took his picture, took the keys and checked the back. If he had stated we were being charged for him I would have kindly replied I have it under control. If this fee goes to the UHaul Representative that went out of his way to make this day possible would be Don Szybunka from Five Star Transport. There was only one person dealing with me and all the customers. It took her over half hr just to process the information and they had problem with the machine. I was really frustrated because I had 3 helpers that I had hired waiting for me. On top of that the truck was full of gas so I mentioned that to the clerk she said that I should had read my contract. I spent $25.18 to fill the tank and I only had used the truck for 59 miles. But on a good note the other U-Haul that I rented a storage unit from were really excellent on helping me and the service was great. I would go to see them next time for sure.Jeannot M.

Pick up location was change by u haul the day before pick up due to no truck at previously booked location, this resulted in extra travel 35 extra 1 way km to drive to pick up and return to moving location. U hail gave a few extra km in the price but not nearly enough to cover the move with return at drop of location, not only did this create alot of extra time spent but money as well. The dealer at pickup was great with no problems as this would not be his fault.Brian R.

The lady which was helping me with getting my uhaul from the high end convience location in Leduc, AB, was unconsiderate of a pandemic to say the least. When she asked for my license, after inputting my details over the phone, kept my license and walked around the store with it, while scratching her head profusely as if she had lice. I was scared to touch my license after. I realize this is just the person hired to work at the convience store, however since she is also representing U-haul in a way, I think if at all possible this should be addressed. Otherwise, my experience was great and I would still definitely rent a U-haul again for my moving needs.lukas B.
