I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE U-HAUL AT ACE HARDWARE IN ELLENTON, FL. I MADE A RESERVATION WITH ACE HARDWARE IN ELLENTON, FL FOR A TRUCK PICKUP ON SATURDAY. WHEN I GOT THERE, I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PICK UP THE TRUCK AT ANOTHER U-HAUL LOCATION 15 MILES AWAY IN BRADENTON, FL. I CALLED THEM 8 TIMES BUT THEY NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I SUSPECT YOU GUYS WILL NEVER FOLLOW UP ON THIS, BUT I'D LOVE FOR YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG. TODD MCCLIMANS.

Truck was immaculate. The pick up process was very poor. It took 25 mins from when we arrived to get an agent to respond in order to release truck. Very poor intake process - no sense of urgency and we lost 20 mins of rental time as a result.

The uhaul.com website had a reservation for a truck for me, then cancelled it the morning I was moving. I was signed up for text message alerts but still only got an email. After a few attempts at calling customer service and using live chat for customer service through uhaul.com, I decided to call the location directly. The manager at Hideaway Storage in Ellenton, FL helped me tremendously. He had me in a truck shortly after with everything I needed, no problem. His help was greatly appreciated.

I sent my review previously but will repeat. The.utility dolly was not in truck so we went to 3 locations before getting one. This set us back 3 hours, put us in the heat time, afternoon storm and our helpers had to leave--they were scheduled from 9 to 3. I was charged an additional day due to no fault of mine. Jonathan at Uhaul of Bradenton was very kind and helpful.

I was not given directions or a prompt to take a photo of my license and upload it prior to the rental. Jeff implied it was a huge deal and would take a long time. It was quick for him to do it for us, but I am wondering why I was not directed to do so on my own via email or text. Otherwise, everything was great. We already recommended this location to a neighbor for convenience and good customer service.

Tammy was on site to assist us in clearing our storage unit and renting a truck for our present move. She was FANTASTIC! She was both professional & knowledgeable, coupled with friendly & welcoming. We will definitely recommend this site to others. We had an extremely excellent experience. We secured the site from out of state with the gentleman normally there working who was also helpful and knowledgeable. Great job everyone!

Phone did not work, code was changed on the box and location was not aware. waited 2 hours for location to open. Will not ever do the phone p/up again.

I had orginally rented an 8 ft truck, but received a phone call later that it was not avail, and offered me a 10ft truck instead. I said OK, if it was the same price. However, the mileage charges were not the same, .69 vs .99 cents a mile. Rental office could not change rate, so I had to call the 800#. I was told it could be changed, then my phone call was disconnected. When I called back, difficult to get to someone who could change it, and they finally did. Vehicle very rough ride - in serious need of shocks. Disappointed with entire experience.
